Our son, Ethan, loves attending La Petite in Castle Rock! When we were researching day cares, we visited this La Petite, and Ethan immediately took to the teachers. A year later, he still loves his class and talks about his teachers and friends on the weekends. When the firefighters visited the school, I attended, and the directors took photos and sent them to me. There are always new projects and art on the wall. Its proof the children are learning a lot and enjoying what they are learning. The directors and staff are not just good at what they do, they also show true compassion for the children and parents.

Out of all of the centers Ive worked for I have never been so comfortable with so many people. The staff are amazing and so loving to the children. Each and every teacher comes in with a smile and they are always there to help me or any other staff member with questions. The parents that we interact with are amazing and supportive and understanding. I am very blessed to have met all the people that I have through this center. I highly recommend this center to any parent or future staff member.

La Petite has been a great experience for our family. It makes all the difference feeling confident your baby is cared for and loved when you drop them off each day. Thank you infant room teachers!

Lapetite in Castle Rock is ridiculous. They dont even deserve a one star review. My child was in the summer program and was supposed to go on field trips every week. They went on two field trips because of bus problems.The teachers constantly have too many kids, and kids are always getting hurt. Since we have been there, there has been three director changes. The new director, is hardly present and when you ask questions, she just responds with I dont know, I just started here. The assistant director is even worse and smokes on site where children can see her. I would not recommend this childcare to my worst enemy.

Would NEVER recommend this facility. They are VERY unprofessional and disrespectful. We have had honesty issues with them, and issues when it came to changing diapers. These are just a few issues we have had with La Petite in Castle Rock, they don’t even deserve a one star rating.

This daycare doesn’t even deserve a one star rating. Horrible experience. My child was only there for two days before I pulled him out. Both days when I picked him up, his diaper was soaked through and his pants were sopping wet. His diaper was SO full, he thought he pooped. He kept saying, “mommy I pooped”.So I checked his diaper and there was no poop, just a diaper full of piss that he obviously sat in all day.When I confronted the staff about it, the manager Kelsey, was extremely rude and sarcastic, bending down to my child and saying “oh that’s too bad bud!!”The second day, same thing happened, I confronted them again and they said the message must have not gotten passed along.They clearly have no idea what they’re doing and they’re negligent.DO NOT TAKE YOUR CHILD HERE!!!

Based on my child’s experience, I ended up pulling my child out and filed a report with CPS. Other Parents (and MULTIPLE former employees-not just one) who witnessed even worse things than I did also filed reports. Over all there is a culture of ‘not caring’ and neglect to children from what I personally saw. Please look into multiple claims filed with CPS and State Licensing. I tried to reach out to La Petite Corporate before writing this review and heard nothing back to address my situation. The not caring comes from the top and trickles down.I am writing this review because as a parent, I would want to have some idea of the truth occurring behind Daycare doors while I am unable to be with my child.My child was at LPA for over 2 years and never let me leave with out crying or having to be in another persons arms. Less than 2 months at a new place and they RUN into their class room and couldnt care less that I leave. - This tells me more than I will ever know about what all occurred at LPA which I did not witness.

I have witnessed abuse and neglect from several staff members on numerous occasions. La Petite is currently being investigated by CPS. I do not believe children are safe in the care of La Petite staff.

I have been to many different Child Care Centers and I have not been as happy as I am now with the staff. My four year old has learned so much being there. Ms. Jackie, Ms. Jamie, Ms Audrey have done an amazing job with him. Jackie really works hard with the children and it really shows how much she cares about each child. My one year old started in the infant room with Ms. Michelle and Ms. Laura they were so good to her. They had great communication with me on how she was doing. Now she is in the one year old room with Ms. Stephanie. I am incrediably happy with her. She is so good with the children and you can tell she enjoys working with them. I would recommend this child care to anyone looking for a safe, trustworthy, and fun place to leave thier child at.

We get daily reviews about our childs progress each day, she comes home having learned something new every day. She loves her teachers, Miss Jackie, Shelley, Audrey and Jamie are fanastic and truly enjoy each child individually and in a class. Miss Jackie stays in contact with us each day of our childs learning and steps aside individually to discuss areas of interest and where our child is growing in her education.

Your child will not be included into the group immediately. It takes time for your child to make friends at this place.

My son, age 5 (he has a late birthday and misses the district cutoff for Kindie by 9 days), had been in a traditional childcare setting for two years prior to coming to La Petite Castle Rock. EVERY drop-off there had been a challenge, with tears, protests of hating school, and acting out.... but after two months at La Petite, my child not only LOVES school, but adores his teacher, Miss Tamara, who is great with the kiddos, he counts above 50, can do his numbers in Spanish to diez (10), is writing his alphabet, and looks forward to going to class each day.I know some of these learning milestones may not seem huge to folks whove had children in other preschool and pre-K programs, but I didnt realize how much teaching was not being done at my childs previous care (I was always reassured when asking about academics, though my child mysteriously never had any projects to show for it?), and how rigorously La Petite has prepared their students AND caught my son up in so little time!Another reassuring aspect of the location is their multi-layered security features, and the fact their environment means all of the teachers are familiar with all of the children, regardless of age grouping. I also receive anywhere from one to six email updates, photos, and other statuses regarding my childs activity throughout my work day. :0) My son is encouraged to develop socially and emotionally as much as academically at La Petite, and I love that he has two to three best friends at school on any given day.All of this is a very drawn out way of saying, Ive been very impressed with this school, but moreso than that, my child is HAPPY at daycare again, and as a parent, there is no pricetag or goal that can compare.
