This academy has offered wonderful training for both my teen daughter (who is naturally skilled), as well as myself (not so naturally skilled and starting as a beginner in middle age)... The training is well-organized and yet varied enough to always stay interesting. The pace strikes an ideal balance between supporting mastery and moving along to new material. The instructors are very solid and experienced and confident with the material. There is an expectation of excellence and yet, permission to be imperfect at the same time. Even in large classes, everyone gets to work in a way that allows that individual student to advance, while compromising no ones training.

My kids and I have attended White Tiger Tae Kwon Do for several years. The instructor is great with kids and teaches them strong technique while fostering confidence and leadership. If you are looking for something fun and challenging to do with your kids, think about joining as well. It is hard work, but it is fun!

My journey with Tae Kwon Do started about 20 years ago when my then 4 year old son took classes at a different academy. I started taking classes with him and I saw first hand how learning martial arts can positively make a difference in a persons development- physically, mentally and spiritually. I stopped taking classes about 15 years ago and found I missed it very much.I decided to get a membership at a fitness center and one evening I heard the familiar yells coming from one of the rooms. I took a look and my desire to go back to Tae Kwon Do was overwhelming.I was fortunate to meet Master Louis Thursh who was gracious enough to take on a 50 - something - year-old woman from a different academy.I have seen him work with children and adults of all ages. I trust him enough that my three grandchildren are taking classes now too.This teacher cares about the art of Tae Kwon Do and that his students learn to do their best. No one is given a belt rank because they have been to a certain number of classes or because they have bought a belt. His students earn their belts through hard work and dedication.Master Thursh is dedicated, caring, compassionate and a great teacher. I recommend his classes to anyone wanting to get a good all around martial arts class for themselves or their child.

Me and my siblings have been students of Master Thursh for about ~3 months now, and we cant be happier with how challenging and rewarding our taekwondo journey is going. Master Louis is an incredible teacher, and will teach you as much as he can. The structure of the classes are organized and well-taught. And I observed that once you reach a higher belt level, he teaches you how to teach, which I think is an amazing opportunity. He sees potential in every student, and pushes you to do your best. We look forward to going each time. :)

Absolutely love this place. My 7 year old girl is doing amazing, great coaching...fun mixed with discipline. Couldnt ask for more.

My kids and I have been going to this school for three years. Its fun and has improved our strength, mental focus, flexibility, peace of mind, confidence and overall fitness. Although this was initially an activity for my kids, it has been a gateway for my own fitness journey that has lead to fitness goals that I never dreamed of.When searching for a taekwondo school, I had my kids do one week trials at the two largest schools in CU. After the trials, both schools tried hard close sales techniques that tried to guilt me into signing a big unbreakable contract. When I came across White Tiger, I got a totally different mindset. This was about learning how to move, not about $$$$. The sessions are an hour long. The value far surpasses the other academies, in my opinion.The instruction is superb and I highly recommend this school.

After looking around at other Tae Kwon Do programs available in the area this was the best I found. Reasonable class sizes, all the classes taught by the master instuctor, and belt testing at reasonable intervals. I visited one school where you could get a Black Belt in less than two years, where at White Tiger five years seemed more the norm. If you are looking for a quick belt go somewhere else, if you arent afraid to work hard I advise trying this academy.

Can’t say enough amazing things about this place. Would recommend this to anyone!
