I love family dollar on market and Bradley but sometimes I think the customers are abusive to the store,and thats just me,but overall its a good business, good location and they r doin much so far as service, but again the customers arent always in their place.

I found what I was looking for. And Dwayne is pretty cool!

The store on Market St is very unorganized and dirty! Inside and outside! The products are not priced correctly and the cashiers refuse to honor the advertised prices. Even after seeing the price tag advertised, I was told to contact a manager the next day or so for refund! Went in there one day and the female worker left her register to run over to a customer to let her know of a fight about to go down live on Facebook! And when she came back to the register she still had her phone on Facebook awaiting the fight! Very unprofessional and ghetto! Just think they are building more houses behind there and this is the store that will serve the new tenants. Wow! Get it together Family Dollar in Champaign! I prefer the store in Urbana. Its every clean and organized!

I have been going to family dollar for 4 years. The store in Champaign on Market is my home store. It is not the managers fault the store is understaffed and a mess. I have seen massive turnovers because the employees are not treated fairly. Most of the time I come in the store there are only two people to stock and cashier. The store need at least three people at all times. Today I went in and the credit card machine stop working. They tried everything. A high volume store should not have a credit machine that goes out frequently. That store has always been a mess. Will always be a mess. No matter how many managers they put in there. The problem is the upper management. If they had one more person per day it may be a better store. I even stop going to family dollar. I was so tired of there not being anything I need. Furthermore, if there isnt any people putting out products, taking care of customers, ringing the customers out, then Family Dollar loses money.

Although you can often find great deals here, some of the staff are unprofessional and more preoccupied with using slang and playing questionable music from their iPods, than providing excellent customer service. The store is often cluttered and disorganized.

As with all Family Dollar stores they have Isles that are that are too small that need Improvement but I love all the things that they offer so I still stop in every so often!
