Great location, the food is more over priced than supreme t-shirts in 2018. It was $6 for hot chocolate from a tub. A brown tub. It was also only 12oz of liquid

Tailgating is top notch! better parking lots and atmosphere than 90% of campuses. nice touch on kiosk when ordering food&drinks inside, timely. loved experience !

A gem in central Illinois. One of the most beautiful campuses Ive ever been on. The people are extremely friendly the strip where all the stores and restaurants are is fantastic. Kudos to the town of champagne

Great campus and tons to do.

Please visit the restaurant on campus. Houlihans is student run. The food is incredible. Drinks are well made. Dogs are allowed on the patio.Had a fantastic evening and they even had entertainment on a Thursday evening.

Just dropped of my son to UIUC 😭. The campus is huge and beautiful, having dynamic and positive vibes. I am confident that my son will be motivated and learn a lot from the environment. Well worth $32000/yr!

Impressive college town!

Easy to get around. All staff was very helpful and courteous from the parking lot attendant to the bartender. Great experience!

Will give you a dismissal if their staff feels like it. Do not bother with a university that wont listen to its students and has institutional problems at its core that it has refused to fix.Look up cases of excellent students being dismissed due to their health conditions during covid.

I visited the campus on a college tour and it seemed like a really nice place. Unfortunately, they didnt have exactly what I was looking for as a major. The campus felt pretty big but it was really well maintained. I honestly am a little sad they didnt have my major. The architecture was really beautiful and the outdoor space was really nice too.

The game was great.The concessions were a joke.No one knew how to run the machines. And they take no cash.You have a problem Houston

Among other things, a much less intrusive COVID-19 test consisting of collecting saliva samples, with 4-5 hours accurate results, has been developed in its grounds. A first in the world. First class R&D.

Online classes are poorly designed compared to other colleges; academic advisors not helpful; admission & undergrad curriculum too relaxed; tuition overpriced.Engineering, business programs here are fine. Dont choose UIU based on its national ranking over what program works best for you. If you are pursuing a degree in health care, public health, or health informatics, I suggest looking to UIC since they offer far better quality education in those programs.

I spent a few years here getting a bachelors degree in Engineering. It was really difficult, but totally worth while.

Note: This is not a review of the school academic standing but more on the campus physical environment.My wife attended this school when she was 16 years old and so I decided to stop by for a quick visit as I was driving on I-70 to California. The campus looks like a ghetto, dirty and old buildings. The streets looked like they havent been clean in ages. This campus is just plain old and dirty.It was probably much cleaner 20 years ago!

My friend Sue took me there the day before yesterday seeing a basketball game between UIUC and University of Michigan. At last, UIUC won. 73:70. The buildings there are amazing. Its a good place to learn and study.

Top public school for engineering! Based on 2016 U.S. News & World Report (USNWR) Americas Best Colleges report, UIUCs undergraduate program was ranked tied for 41st among national universities and tied for 11th among public universities.

The assistant was using her own phone to call us which our phones didnt recognize and did not accepted it as unrecognizable phone call so our dog had to sit there for an extra hour until she finally used the hospital phone to get a hold of us students and doctors should never use their personal phones to call patience.

This is an awesome place for a student’s college experience! I would recommend everyone to atleast try to apply at this school! If you get lucky, you will have the best experience of your college life! Campus is enormous and beautiful! Commute system is perfectly organized around the whole campus! Housing options are pretty great too!Trust me, if u wanna be something in life, this place is a fabulous opportunity!

The campus is well laid out from North to South. There are 3 quads. Public transit is very well run. There is a large campus town area with shops, restaurants, and bars. Parking is sparse and its hard to drive through. Professors are good the libraries are fantastic. Department management is hit or miss from department to department.

Awesome school as a start of your adult life. Extremely inclusive environment for all students.

Campus very quiet.

I did my undergraduate studies at this university. It is an excellent academic institution. The facilities are top notch and the instructors among the best. The colleges of engineering, psychology, and library sciences are among the best in the nation. The colleges of law, business, education, veterinary sciences, pharmacy, and chemistry are also very good. The university boasts a two time Nobel Prize winner in former researcher John Bardeen. For the sports minded there are many facilities available and an abundance of intramural programs. You can enjoy big ten basketball and football games. The university has one of the largest, some say the largest, fraternity and sorority populations in the country. You can have fun here and still obtain a quality education that will be respected everywhere.
