Great place to express your creativity. I’ve painted canvas here and now pottery. Best place hands down to do something creative. A wonderful and friendly staff that is always welcoming.

We took the Wine and Wheels pottery class and had a blast! Our teacher Bella was very helpful at introducing techniques, as well as assisting us with any hiccups or questions we had along the way. It was a 90 minute class and we were able to make as many items as we could, which was awesome! They let us come back in 2 weeks to paint and fire all the pieces we made.

Just had the most amazing night here! My wife and I were looking for something pottery related for our 9 year wedding anniversary and we are beyond thankful we found this! Sasha was amazing! So much fun and an overall great experience! We will be back!

What a fun way to spend a Saturday with friends. Came in to glaze a pottery piece I made at a previous wheel throwing class, and ended painting a fun little Halloween ceramic. Kelsey was very knowledgeable and helpful.

I got classes for me and my daughter and we both absolutely love the class. The teacher was great at making sure you understand what you need to do and will help you if you are having trouble. I am very excited to take my next class, I highly recommend.

I stumbled upon Burst of Butterflies by accident while exploring wonderful downtown Chandler. After looking at all the impressive and very well organized works of art they have for sale in their gift shop, I was astonished to learn that they offer afternoon clay throwing classes. I must admit, after taking a long hiatus from throwing clay on the wheel I was a little nervous to get back on the wagon again. However, I decided to metaphorically make my high school clay teacher proud and sign up for a class. I showed up the next day ready to throw. One thing I recommend is wearing clothing you dont mind getting dirty! The clay wheels are located in the back of the studio, this was also where I met my instructor for the evening, Kelsey. Kelsey greeted me with the biggest smile and really made me feel right at home. I told her that I hadnt thrown clay in some years and I was a bit hesitant to see where my skill level was at. Kelsey kindly assured me that Id do great and that itd be just like riding a bike, we then soon started the class. The clay throwing area was exceptionally clean and they even provided fresh water buckets with sponge, aprons, and all the basic clay tools needed for throwing! Kelsey started off giving all the basics for properly throwing clay, all while playing some groovy 80s music and even cracking some hilarious dad jokes in between! After the quick introduction, it was off to the race horses and our clay wheels were spinning! At first, I was struggling getting my clay to center in the middle of the wheel but thankfully instructor Kelsey came over and reminded me of correct clay throwing posture that I long forgotten. After that, it was like I never skipped a beat! I guess the name really suits the art studio because I started to get a burst of butterflies in my stomach and before I knew it I was creating some of the best bowls I have ever created! I highly recommend taking Kelsey for clay throwing, especially if you are just starting out! She is very professional, understanding, funny, and an expert at what she does, with many years of experience. I will no doubt be signing up for more of her classes. If youre looking for something fun to do with friends or even a date night, Burst of Butterflies is a great place to learn some new skills, have some laughs, and meet new people! I heard they even offer a clay throwing class where you can bring your own wine in and drink while throwing, will have to give that a try! I was overall very pleased with my experience at Burst of Butterflies! Two clay covered thumbs up!

This is a perfect date night, party for adults and kids, or just something to do on a weekend night. My husband and I tried it out as a date night and we loved it!! You can pick whatever you want to paint and they have a multitude of colors to choose from! You can also bring your own alcohol! Such a good time and Kelsey was amazing!!

This is our second visit. We came towards the end of the evening and the staffs, hospitality, smiles, and helpfulness were so welcoming. We LOVE this place!

Very cute and fun little shop in Chandler. Weve been a few times, and the employees have always been fantastic. They are helpful and dont rush you at all. Their pottery classes are fun, and their prices are great. We definitely love coming in whenever we can make it over. My artsy daughter loves the pottery and pottery painting while I (even with my complete lack of art skills) love doing canvas painting.

We brought our mother there for her Birthday and it was exceeded our expectations. Bella was wonderful at explaining each step! We made may lovely items! 100% recommend & we will be back!

In all the years Ive visited these types of businesses, this site is the best location Ive gone to for painting, pottery creation, and canvass services and activities.The team that includes Marcy (and another young lady, I believe her name was Megan, who was the supervisor that assisted us Presidents Day, Monday, afternoon) were professional, creative, thorough, and patient. Its been some time since receiving genuine customer service of this stature. Their services continued even through the multiple days we returned and even when their shop was busy with so many guests they hit their compacity, this past Saturday!The TEAM was still able to manage and provide top quality service. The atmosphere on the different days during the week was quiet, calm, enjoyable, and then electric on Saturday. The music played was diverse and just perfect! Burst Of Butterflies is a perfect location for a date night, one on one time, time to spend with your children, with each member of your family, and friends. Ive moved this site to one of my absolute favorites. Job well done!This is the second time in life my husband has painted on canvass or painted period for art. He usually draws stick figures when photo illustration is needed. The instruction we had completing the Canvass was great. It doesnt matter the level of skill or knowledge, anyone has or doesnt have. If patient with the process, you can create an artistic masterpiece.

This place was absolutely perfect!! The event they had on Valentines day was amazing! They had a lovely live band and food got brought over to us from next door to them. They also had four different sections going on where you can paint and one of the spots you can clay throw! Great spot for all levels!

Absolutely amazing place and experience. 😍I took my mom here for her birthday gift, and we did glass cutting and fusing. (Well we just did the glass cutting, and they fuse it for us. Which can take a few weeks.)There are a lot of activities to do here, no appointment needed. They have painting, sculpting, glass cutting and more.You can make pendants for necklaces, paintings on canvas, paint little figurines, paint glass, flatten a bottle, and so many other things. And they have classes too.The owner lady is super sweet and a guy named Jerry is very helpful.Come during the week if you want more room to spread out and work. I think theyre only open Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. But you might call to double-check.This is our cut glass design we designed, cut and glued together.

What an amazing place. Cheryll is so fun and was such a trooper working with us on a project we have been wanting to do. We had a great time creating there. Her attention to detail and her clear love for art shines through in the whole place. Definitely recommend going there!!

My son just finished last weeks summer camp. He had a ton of fun. They did a ton of different Art projects and explored different mediums. Which was great. He did the week dedicated to space. He got to bring them home at the end of the week. Only down side which has nothing to do with this place but more the location is parking. Finding parking is very hard. Also be careful if you park in the dirt parking, no cameras. Someone hit my car and just left. Only found out by the time I got home.

Found this place online. It is an hour away but well worth the drive! My husband and I came for date night and they had more than reasonable prices and the friendliest staff I have ever met.They have many types of artsy things to do, so you can come back and do something different every time. I will definitely be returning very soon. So much fun!

I recently visited Burst of Butterflies to create an anniversary gift for my wife (year 9 is ceramics). She wanted something special and WOW did I go to the right place!The folks at Burst of Butterflies helped me throughout the process of creating a unique ceramic ring dish. (I’m not traditionally very skilled in the arts). They helped with picking out the piece, the paints, tips and tricks to make sure it would turn out nice; they were great.I’d like to especially thank Megan who went absolutely above and beyond making sure my gift was fired in the kiln and ready for pickup by the anniversary date. Her service was fantastic and I highly recommend anyone interested in paint or ceramics to give Burst of Butterflies a try.Even as an adult, I had a great time. I can’t wait to grab our nephews and bring them in for our next outing. Thanks Burst of Butterflies!! Moved down here two weeks ago and was interested in some pottery painting just for fun on a Saturday. Found this place and they have lots of services for outstanding prices. No studio fee and a friendly staff make for a great and affordable experience. To top it off, they love the community, and are committed to making it better. If you are going to paint pottery or do anything else that they provide I highly recommend them.

I went here to do a canvas painting. They had amazing templates to choose from and they give you all the supplies. It comes with step by step instructions and guidance from the staff. If you go on a Tuesday, you can get $10 off your canvas painting, which was awesome!! I loved my end result and I will definitely be coming back soon!! 👌

Now I know why they have 5 stars. I would not consider myself a creative person but something about this place brings it out of you. The fun and friendly staff came by our table every so often to check if we needed anything. They have a great assortment of pottery to paint. Had a blast!!!

Everyone at the studio was very friendly, and our party host, Jordan, was patient and helpful with colors and painting techniques. This is the most AMAZING place! You have sooo many options, wheel throwing, glass fusing, wine/class painting, painting canvases, and the cheapest and best pottery painting Ive ever seen! Wonderful atmosphere and staff!

It is such a fun, relaxing place. I do not have any experience in painting, or in drawing, I left believing I can paint drawings, like a true artist😉...lol😊 I look forward in going here again soon.
