If you want to learn Chinese kungfu this is the best one!!!

My son has been with Phoenix Wushu Academy for 8 years and he grew up in this wonderful school. Im so glad that I found this place, it is a wonderful family that encourages kids to not only be champions in their sport but to become a better human being as well. Through their professional training my son has blossomed into a national and international champion. I cannot be more proud of him and the school. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for high level training in Wushu and wonderful lasting friendships and community.

We have attended their show on 11/17. It was just fine for a local amateur studio. The problem is that the summary of the event they put up on the Chandler Center for the Arts website (see included photo) was obviously misleading and left an impression that it would be a show by a professional company, it did not mention the name of the Academy at all. Had the summary mentioned that the show is produced by an amateurs studio we would have had very different expectation and would not have purchased the tickets. The company refused to take responsibility for this gross misrepresentation and refund our tickets.

My son loves it here. There is no better place for your child to learn Wushu. Master Ho is not only amazing in his knowledge but has the unique teaching ability to convey it to the students in way they not only progress at a high level but ENJOY putting in the work to become better. Yes it is a school of Martial Arts but the people, from the students, parents, Master Ho, his wife Bonnie, and daughter Jane, make it much more special.

Both my daughters do both dance and Wushu at Phoenix Wushu Academy, and love it! The dance teachers are very good, and the performances provide an opportunity for the older girls to solo on a big stage.Wushu is what really makes the Academy special, however. Master Ho is a great instructor, and has a real following, including practitioners of other martial arts. He works on conditioning, teaching the basics, and working up to sparring sets.The Academy just finished a production of Mulan that was truly of professional caliber. The lighting, costuming, pacing, cut-scenes were all exceptional. It sold out, and Ive heard from acquaintances in the Chinese community that it created quite a buzz in the Chinese local papers.Finally, there is a real sense of family within the Academy. My girls love going to Wushu to see their friends, and stay in touch with them away from the Academy. Special kudos to Master Hos daughter, whos one of the senior students and very accomplished. Both my girls and lots of the other students get help from her when theyre having problems, and my girls look up to her.

An amazing Martial Arts Academy, my kids love to go there and really enjoy learning from Master Ho and practicing and growing in experience with friends. The atmosphere of the school is very closely knitted, we are like a huge family.

I LOVE HERE! I signed up a year ago and I HAVE NO REGRETS! I love my WuShu family! You can fit it so easily! Its so easy and you have tons of new friends, the day you entered. I LOVE YOU WUSHU FAMILY!

I know Phoenix Wushu Academy from a friend. We came for a class trial and my son really enjoyed it. We signed up for a beginner class on same day. Master Ho is our wushu master and he is very good in teaching wushu and taichi. Master Ho has tough and brought my son to win a gold metal in Las Vegas Wushu Competition Last year and we are looking forward to go to the next level of wushu competition in San Fransisco next year. Thank you Master Ho and miss Bonnie.

We are blessed to have Master Ho at PWA who offers the best instruction for youth and adults in traditional Chinese Wushu. His attention to detail and technique coupled with his patience for each student at the school cannot be matched. Bonnie Fu his spouse is additionally amazing and brings her artistic expertise to the Academy offerings. Courses offered in Chinese art, Chinese dance and Chinese language are also outstanding. Additionally, the academy offers one of the finest summer camps for children annually, with changing themes each summer. In addition to standard Wushu competitions, students have the opportunity to participate in an arts performance annually such as - Mulan which will be performed this January 2014. I love it here! My wushu family is just great!!! Ive been here in wushu for a little bit over a year and in dance well Ill say for 3 years. I enjoy coming to class let that be dance or wushu. Either way, I find things about myself I wouldnt find out just any other day. Along that, I also find myself talking to the weirdest(weirdest in a good way) people that I wouldnt talk to if I didnt join the wushu class. Its nice to get the dance and wushu kids together! I mean its in indescribable feeling I guess.Master Ho is really good at teaching wushu. I can now see at other schools and see what theyre doing and its flaws.The dance well.. Its hard to describe that. Its small but completely worth it!!!
