This Taekwondo dojang has my highest recommendation.Lees ATA Chandler is more than just a place to take excellent taekwondo classes. It is a community of people who are dedicated to fitness, self discipline, integrity, each other, and personal growth through the leadership of the Garcias. Like many Of these places, there are large, vibrant kids classes. However, what is not is common is to see a large adult class, many high level black belts, and many who place high in regional, state, national, and world competitions. Excellence attracts excellence. The adult classes include those from all walks of life who support each other through the journey for better self, whatever that may mean.

My daughter joined the ATA association when she was 3, and at the time we went to the school closest to us, which was NOT this location in Chandler. Over time we noticed a decline in the standards of organization, overall instruction quality, and customer services. I had nearly given up on the entire ATA Association. Fortunately my wife suggested we try the Chandler location before we throw in the towel. Our whole family was greeted with open and loving arms by the entire school. We shook hands with a warm and smiling front desk person, who turned out to be the Sr. Master. Students voluntarily came up and introduced themselves and made us feel very welcome. I noticed immediately the difference in quality of instruction for my daughter, and was told many times by many teachers how special and amazing she is, which is not something that was previously acknowledged at the old location. I was so swept off my feet by the quality of standards, the efficiency in organization, and the overflowing passion burning in all its members that I personally started my Taekwondo journey here, and have since enrolled the majority of my family. I recommend this location to any who are interested in learning martial arts or growing as a martial artist.

Our son worked hard to earn his black belt today. What he received along the journey is priceless. The Garcia’s and all instructors are helping to guide him in self-control, self-discipline, self-confidence and leadership development.We could not be happier with this school. We drive past a dozen others to attend because it is so much more than a karate studio, it is a life coaching experience.

Ive been taking my daughter here since October, and honestly could not be more blessed to find an awesome establishment! The masters and instructors have the patience of GODS! The way they handle the little ones is extremely amazing, they stay persistent and consistent with their training. My daughter in the short time she has been here, her Dad and I have seen a total change for the better with her! She has better self control over herself, she listens better, she has better respect for her elders. She has GOALS! Master Garcia, Mr. Loll and Mr. Jones are amazing at what they do, their patience and their commitment to the kids is incredible!

First off I would like to say that the level of professionalism here is outstanding. Even more important to my family is the high level of compassion and understanding for children from the entire team of instructors at Lees ATA Chandler. My son had been struggling with his willingness to cooperate in school and his focus just wasnt there in his class work. Master Garcia and the rest of the team all helped turn my son into a courteous and well mannered little man. My son had begun to discipline himself in school along with a new found focus he gives to his class work. At Lees ATA Chandler they dont just teach kicking and punching, they assist parents in giving children much needed life skills. Master Garcia is a phenomenal instructor, a great leader and dedicated to his students.

Our son started here a few months ago and I love what its done for him. We started karate because he wanted to be like a power ranger. Now he says yes sir and treats us with respect. I thought since he was only 3 it would fizzle quickly but hes still so in love with it. Master Garcia is great with kids and a fantastic teacher. Karate is not necessarily a cheap sport in comparison but when you consider how much more than just a sport it is, its worth it.

Being a former student at this great dojo, I can confidentally say that it was a very great experience with my time being there. All the sensei there are amazing. They will go thru the belt rank form with you until you get it right. Its a great way of teaching respect, and discipline. Its also a great way of fitness. Majority of the excorsises, focus on the parts of your body that need to be honed for your defense. These sensei, are the best I have had. 10/10 would go again.How i heard about them: I was in elementary school. Master Garcia had paid my previous middle school Anderson elementary school, a visit. As he was teaching my gym class all about the defense of martial arts, he was also giving us the courage to join. I had ended up going to ATA. A few days later. I personally had gone up two belts and won a few of my tournaments. Master Garcia is one of the best sensei I have met. Pushing me to be the best that I could. I love and miss you guys

We have been taking our 7 year old here since he was 5 years old and this is a really great way to invest in your child, the amount of self awareness and self discipline he has gained is priceless. Also it helps with how we raise him at home it is a community effort including ATA in how they incorporate life skills and discipline. Master Garcia is great at what he does. We plan on continuing to bring our 7 year old here to allow him to grow in this discipline and we are considering joining ourselves.

We visit lots of karate school before choosing Lees ATA chandler school. We are so glad we pick the right karate school for our now 6 years old son. He started at the age of 5. Our son has been at this school for almost a year now and his focus in his regular school has improved greatly. He has also started in the leadership program something he truly loves to do. His goal is to become a black belt like Master Garica one day. We are so thankful for the true love, dedication and patience all the instructors show and have with all the kids.

We visited quite a few schools before deciding on ata chandler. This is hands down the best school in the valley. My son recently attended his first tournament and won 1st and 3rd place. Senior master Garcia gave my son a FREE private lesson to help him prepare for competition. He goes above and beyond for his students! The prices here are low compared to other schools and the training is world class! I highly recommend Ata chandler! 5 stars ! Thank you Mr Loll,senior master and master garcia!!👍

We recently joined the ATA family here and are so extremely pleased with our decision.Our entire family joined and I have noticed better behavior in my children as well as a terrific fitness program for our whole family!Master and Ms. Garcia are excellent instructors and although they command respect, as they should, they also make everything about the school warm, inviting, and fun!I highly recommend this school to anyone looking for a fitness program, a way to teach children respect for authority, interested in martial arts, and/or a family to work towards your goals with!

Very nice Academy for the ones who want to learn a form of Karate, especially for the kids. Master Garcia and other teachers are great, You can see the passion they have in teaching Karate.

I truly believed through and through that I wouldnt make it past my first class, I was convinced that Taekwondo was not for me. However, the experience in ATA turned me completely around, all the activities I was a part of, felt rewarding and encouraged me to keep on doing my hardest.The individual attention that all instructors offered was key to strengthening the skills in which I desired to improve, the feedback felt informed and human, they werent in the business of cookie-cut classes, but in engaging with each student according to their needs.During my time in ATA I never felt left behind or discouraged, both my peers and my instructors were always there for me to either lend a hand or a word of encouragement; ATA became more than a place in which I learned Martial Arts, it became a second home with a great family!As of a few months ago I finally had the privilege of becoming a Black Belt and, thanks to the amazing friends and community, I am proud of this achievement that I will never forget.Sadly I had to leave ATA because of non related reasons, but I will always forever remember my time at this academy and the incredible, life changing experience it was. ATA Chandler is helping my son Yamil Mota in his development of life skills, which is being very helpful in school and in the community creating friendships and developing communication with different people also putting a stop to bullying and has received awards for outstanding child at school level!Thank you Master Garcia and your entire team for helping our son! I have learned a lot of training and self defense, as well as building my confidence and helping me learn to be a leader! I would recommend Lees ATA to anyone.

I bought a groupon and were invited to have a free trial class. Kids were looking forward and excited. Instead they had to seat for almost an hour and listen to a program that costs 20 times more than the groupon was. At the end, they werent even able to go to a class, we were told we can only go to a class if we buy their program right now. If not, we still have to pay a ridiculous price for their equipment that no other place require. The instructor used a very high pressure sale methods. I left in a very low mood.

We celebrated my grandsons 5th birthday at Lees ATA Martial Arts in Chandler and it was a totally wonderful experience for both the children and parents. The instructors were great and the kids had a ball! I highly recomment using their services for classes and parties too!

A while ago, I signed my daughter up for their 2 week trial; however during our introductory interview, they kept pressuring me into buying their 6-month or 12-month program before we even started the two-week trial.Why have a trial if youre going to ask parents to pay for the the whole program in their interview?
