They truly go above and beyond at MX Martial arts to create a family and really teach our kids. They go the extra mile to greet kids by names, get down on their level to talk with them, and find a balance between structure and individual care. The additional activities such as parents night out, trunk or treat, and other similar events really make it feel like home, which is so appreciated being that we moved here about a year ago. My 4 year old has struggled with social skills due to quarantine and after a month of consistently coming to class and a bit of extra pep talks from the coaches he went from kicking and screaming that he was too shy to actually working on his kicking skills. His focus is already growing, I see his confidence growing outside of class, and I am beyond grateful to the wonderful team here! I cant say enough about how amazing this place is, well worth the investment and honestly priceless.

I couldnt say enough good things about this place. The coaches are so great and take the time and effort to ensure the kids are getting the curriculum down. They address parents and students by name and have so many activities for the kids to enjoy. My daughter loves the staff and has made some great friends. 10/10 would recommend this place to anyone. We started with the Intro package, but this is such a first-rate organization/facility that we paid for a full membership after the first meeting! My son loves the coaches, and has enjoyed the camaraderie with the other students. This is saying a lot as he initially didnt want to participate! Now he really looks forward to classes. We have been going here with our oldest for almost 2 years already! Ms. Master and the whole team has helped Rosie become more thoughtful, respectful, focused, and to help her understand her emotions and react with more control. I initially signed my son up for the 6-week trial to get my son involved in an activity that promotes self-discipline. We found that and so much more at MX. My son was involved in an accident that resulted in a traumatic brain injury, which caused a volatile behavior change. It became apparent at his first class that we would be long term members of the MX family. I’ve never heard a staff member ask a child their name twice. They remember every single child from the first moment they meet them, which says so much for the personalized experience in a group environment. Everyone at MX is so encouraging. They make the kids want to do better and be better. The amount of self-control, discipline, and confidence that my son has developed over the past two months is amazing. My twins started MX Martial Arts Tiny Titans over a month ago and I have seen improvements in their attention span. They love going here and ask to go all the time. The staff here is friendly and the place is clean. The students enter into a closed dojo, but there are big windows for viewing and the instructors wear headsets with microphones so you can hear what is going on. They also do a great job connecting with families through various events (ex: martial arts in the park/picnic) and community volunteering projects. Highly recommended!

My 8-year old daughter goes here and its undoubtedly the best karate school around! Its a safe environment, where kids learn so much about martial arts AND about themselves. There are no hand-outs here...everything is earned. The owners/instructors are two of the finest people you will come across! Their genuine care for the kids is evident from the moment you walk in! My family and I LOVE MX Martial Arts! My 7 year old son has ADHD and has been taking the Tiny Titans classes for a few months now. My son has so much fun and asks to go every day! I love how the instructors at MX Martial Arts incorporate life lessons such as; stranger danger, manners, self control, self discipline and respect into every fun filled class. And his teacher at school and I have seen a great improvement in his ability to focus and control his impulses.

One of the best parenting decisions we made was trusting our son to the Mendozas and their team at MX Karate. The studio is like a family, my son has taken lessons from the Mendozas since he was in second grade. Hes in 8th grade now, and walks with confidence and I can see the hours of training paying off in his character and his poise. The studio is always insisting on his best, but they change things, they challenge him, they pay attention to his behavior outside the dojo. He has opportunities for service and is taught how to be a leader.The Mendozas imbued him with confidence and kindness that I needed someone outside of our family to share with him. My son loves attending MX martial arts academy. Master Mendoza does a great job building a solid foundation with the kids and promotes them to show respect and discipline at home and school. They also hold a lot of events to help the local community.

All my doubts about having my 3 and 5 year old learn martial arts are now gone. The staff and teachers here are exceptional. Today they learned about stranger danger and how to react if someone grabs them. I literally fought back tears thinking about that possibility but to know that they are learning tenants that can save there life makes me feel confident they are in good hands here. You cant beat the trial deal and they immediately treat you like part of the mx family. Bonus points that the facility is impeccable clean and smells wonderful as opposed to every other martial arts studio Ive ever been in!

You can learn martial arts in any martial arts school, but there is something truly unique about MX Martial Arts. I have two girls and they were hesitant about starting martial arts, but I told them to try it and even if they do not like it, we learned something new and hopefully useful. My youngest is 7 and she has tried soccer, softball, and a bit of basketball and she was always dragging her feet or complaining she was sick so she did not have to go. Not with her martial arts classes at MX. She gets her gi on way before class and has such an excitement about class and what she will learn it is truly awesome. I go myself and I am excited to take my fitness to a level beyond just weight training and the random zumba class.

Master and Sensei Mendoza along with the rest of the MX staff are all amazing people. They have huge hearts and are extremely professional. They are patient, kind and very thorough. My 11 yr old son LOVES his karate practices.
