My daughter loves the school, and her classroom teacher. We have been very impressed by her progress and all that she is learning in her 6th grade class. If you are thinking about this school, I strongly encourage you to take a tour.

Very happy with this school! They have a wonderful mix of high structure with loving and caring staff. Great at identifying and working with the needs of my students, from tutoring to their RISE gifted program.

The ONLY good thing is the academics, but it comes at a cost. I worked in the cafeteria this last year and watched the preschool teachers leave milk, cheese sticks and apple slices out at room temperature for an hour before trying to serve them to the preschool kids. The scheduled outdoor time was 10-10:30; they were only taking them outside from 10:15-10:30. That is not nearly enough time! (Both the snack and outdoor time were corrected after multiple complaint emails)At the beginning of the year the aides used whistles and a megaphone in the cafeteria to get the students attention. The aides would blow the whistles and megaphones directly in some of the kid’s faces. I would watch the children duck their heads to try and get away from the noise. It only took 3 complaints for someone to respond to my email to get those taken away. The aides started screaming at the kids since the whistle/mega phone was taken away. They scream, they yell, they are rude, disrespectful and degrading to these kids. I have complained soooo many times, but the principal and vice principal do not seem to care.Also, at the beginning of the year Shakima Brown and Brie Tucker decided they could charge me $32 without my permission for child care that I was under the impression (miscommunication on the schools part) that was free. I feel as if they stole money from me because I was not informed about the charge and was not given the opportunity to say NO I don’t want to be charged I will take my kid instead of leaving him with you.Prospective Employees:Don’t do it! The health insurance is AWFUL, the PTO benefits are AWFUL. The support you should get from upper management is nonexistent.

This school used to be about the kids learning, family, and most importantly the kids. Not anymore its clearly about profits and not putting the kids best interest first also the administration is not held accountable and the communication with parents is not acceptable at all.

All three of my kids have had positive experiences at North Chandler Legacy. The teachers are easy to work with and the the educational instruction has been excellent.

My 6 year old cousin attended this school for not even a full year & she has now (today) started at a new school due to bullying & ignorant educational leaders. She was happy to leave!

Inexperienced support staff, emotional support not prioritized. My son was turned away from school psychologist (for example). After school care is 40-50 kids in 2 small classrooms with a provider yelling to keep quiet and clean up for several hours. Children given expired food.

My son is in the 6th grade and he absolutely Loves this school. His teachers have been amazing and communication with his home room teacher has been outstanding. I would recommend this school to anyone who is serious about there childs education. My only suggestion would be crossing guards at the lights at Mcqueen and Highland and Mcqueen and warner.
