This is an amazing institution that I have trusted to manage our MLS while at the same time providing REALTORS a place to get the best continuing education and supplies to stay ahead of the pack. The new building is State of the Art and an amazing space to learn and even hang out in the lobby and get some work done.

Extremely vital in getting me ready. Amazing teachers! Sandy is incredible. Lots of assistance at any moment when needed in and out of class and they offer free tutors. Highly recommend!

My experience with Canopy has been incredible! While my pre-licensing class began pre-COVID-lockdown, the institute rearranged classes quickly enough where learning remotely was a cinch. And all of the instructors were extremely helpful in tutorials, support, or even simple email answers with no hesitation. Post-licensing has also provided some amazing instructors getting us ready for RE life. I do miss going the new Canopy building with beautiful classrooms and hope to reunite there with fellow REALTORS and Brokers in the very near future!

Excellent experience at Canopy for my pre-licensing course. Rashad is a fantastic instructor! He will help you highlight the critical information in the book (this will help when you go back to study) and then break each part down for you to truly understand the information. The building is amazing too!

Course is tons of information that is not helped by the hand outs and quizes that have incorrect answers. Even the final exam! I find it more frustrating that I see complaints dating back three years ago that have had the same problem and it hasnt been corrected. It destroys the students confidence when they think they know the material, then told its wrong, then told its correct - really makes you question everything. Distraction not needed.

Absolutely fantastic experience and institution. I took Sandy Williams for pre-licencing who was passionate and very knowledgeable! She teaches you exactly what you need to know while keeping you engaged.

Mingle School of real Estate was a phenomenal educational experience. My instructor, Sandy Williams was fantastic. She was very knowledgeable, efficient and I love how she makes herself readily available to her students for help with any questions or concerns they may have. The school itself is very pleasant. The other staff members are polite and friendly.The course itself is very demanding and requires a lot of study time and dedication outside of the classroom. Be sure to follow your instructors guidelines to help successfully complete the course.

I had an excellent experience with Canopy. Unfortunately, I had to drop out of one of the post licensing classes due to illness. They worked with me and didn’t charge me extra for having to retake the class. Jon is an excellent instructor - I had already taken one post class with him before. I definitely recommend both him as an instructor and the school as a whole.

I had an exceptional experience attending the Mingle School of Real Estate. The instructor was extremely knowledgeable in the course material and the classes were delivered in an easy to understand manner that coupled with personal study will prepare you to succeed and pass the required state exams. I truly recommend this school for all your real estate educational needs.

Sandy is a fantastic instructor, very knowledgeable! Mingle has a variety of class schedules to accommodate your work schedule. If you put in the work, you will do great on the class and state exams. Read the book!

Class was excellent. I learned what was needed to pass the test on the first try. I would recommend Cheryl Crawford. She is a great teacher.

Very disappointed. The teacher didnt teach, instead spent the whole class telling you what to highlight when a PowerPoint handout would eliminate this nonsense and create time for actually teaching students. Sometimes he would answers students questions but most of the time he would dismiss them and tell them its not important. I do believe Rashad is a very intelligent person, but intelligence doesnt always make someone a great teacher. Mingle should really look at their negative reviews and try and fix some of these problems.

All about money. Other schools take time and help students. This school charge 60 dollars after hours if need help. They fly subjects knowing this course is a lot for people with lives. They say they too busy at timee to help. Choose another school willing to help and see students succeed. They charge way more and then charge more if fail test to take class again. A joke

This course covers a great deal of material and it all comes from the book. They provide you with Quizzes in class, however you can not take them home. Instead you briefly go over what you missed in class. They also do not provide you with any power points to go over the key points you learned from the lessons in class. They do however give you a binder with helpful math problems, as well as tips and tricks to pass the test. There also seemed to be a pretty equal number of new students and retake students, which was alarming to me. In terms of my teacher, he went at an extremely fast pace (always seemed rushed for time) and the lessons were quite monotonous. Overall I felt extremely rushed and just another face in the crowd. Needless to say, I will be retaking the course however at a different institution.

I took my Pre-licensing class twice and absolutely loved Sandy Williams teaching methods. She made learning the information much easier by applying principles to everyday situations. Highly recommend Sandy and this school so far.

Great experience taking my pre-licensing course with the Mingle School. My instructor is outstanding, full of great life experience and encouragement, very clearly identified what it takes to pass this course. I will be back for post-licensing classes and continuing education. If you are thinking about taking the pre-licensing course, know that Mingle will assist you with everything you need to do well. With that said, you must meet the challenge by dedicating much of your own time and effort to learn a great deal of information, no one can do that for you.

Im convinced that Mingle wants students to fail so they can make more money from the discounted price of retaking the class. I had to retake the test and/or class every time (this is my 3rd course). Instructors are not friendly and offer little help. Topics of the syllabus arent always covered because instructors spend too much time talking about their personal lives during class (All 3 instructors that taught my classes did this). Extra help is not free and there is virtually no assistance during testing. Ive seen more students fail than pass in all the classes Ive attended. I would not recommend this school to anyone. Pick Superior or RJ Monk instead. The difference in price is worth it.

I had taken this course several times and kept failing. I took this class with Mr Rashad Phillips who is a great instructor and made the material easy to understand and learn without the overload of information and great explanations without being dismissive or rude

Go with Rashad if you can. Excellent teacher! Rashad prepared me well for the Mingle school test and also the national and state exams. The negative reviews are due to people not studying enough. Not the schools fault. Study hard. None of the tests are easy.

Mingle is a great school!! I highly recommend you take the pre-licensing class, post-licensing classes, and continuing education classes with Sandy Williams. She is a great and knowledgeable instructor!!! Make sure you read the book word for word and listen to her. She has an awesome powerpoint presentation.

This is my SECOND time taking the pre-licensing course here at Mingle...if anything, I am just more confused. The school hands out packets of practice quizzes with NUMEROUS answers in the key that are incorrect. This is a very comprehensive course...hard enough without being given WRONG information to study. I have sent several e-mails to staff expressing my concern, no response from anyone. So the real question in my mind is...Are the answers for the final actually the CORRECT answers, or the WRONG ones that Mingle goes by in their practice quizzes? Perhaps a complaint against Mingle to the NCREC over negligence would yield some absolution....

Mingle (now Canopy)is the worst!!! over 80% of the class failed the final. Do not waste your money. They dont go over the math which is a big part of the test. The instructor just reads the book and highlights. Then you have to pay to retake the course. The class is less than two months long and you really do need the three months that other schools offer (CPCC) and it is only $180. (half the price of Mingle)....

I have been taking classes there since 1981 - I would not consider going anywhere else. Convenient locations.

It is hard for me to watch people review Mingle, who probably didnt put more than 10 hours in of studying (if that) outside of class, believe that they think theyre credible and worthy reviewers. There is simply no way you could attend any real estate school in North Carolina and exclusively learn in class and not supplement it outside of class with a reasonable expectation of passing.Albeit, there are probably better schools out there, but for the money and location, Mingle cannot be beat. I had Sandy my first attempt (I came so close), and on my second attempt with Rashad I passed. Personally, I thought Sandy laid an excellent foundation for me, and Rashads class really helped me nail down any lose points. If you are willing to read outside of class, do practice questions, and make license law your Bible, Rashad is your man.As I am now licensed, I will take all of my postlicensing here along with my CE when the time comes. Thank you to Rashad and the Mingle School!

Just in to my second week. I was very upset to find that they got rid of THE BEST INSTRUCTOR in THE STATE!! And the replacement for the class is all over the place, makes no sense at all, Rude and in my opinion a very bad instructor. I did complain as well as many others and the school has nothing to say.This will be my last class at Mingle, and I only came here for Margie, and she is greatly missed!!!!!!

Be warned you will waste your time, the instructor ....male in the evenings The Highlight teacher does not answer questions and Will try to set a tone of Dominece and Alpha Dog in front of the class. When students asked questions he shut them down and said we dont have time. But thats very testable.... Stayed after to ask questions he still was very arrogant.. our class ratio of passing was terrible.. I stop raising my hand after the 2nd week..Studied on my own Did not pass test 71.. need a 75 to pass.. Instuctor was not helpful at all.......was not a class that facilitated learning. No student teacher dialogue... Get a question wrong, he asked you to read it and what did you put.. Not This is why it is.. .PS took The class Years ago at another school. Passed with a 93 Never took state exam... so Im starting over... STAY AWAY BEWARE ..CAVEAT EMPTOR...

Thanks for the advice. Too many negative comments. Im not sure, but it appears that the so called professors are prejudice toward minorities who attend this school (but I could be wrong). You guys saved me lots of money.

A complete waste of time and money. The class consists of the teachers reading out of the book and calling out what to highlight.
