I graduated from here having prior knowledge of basic braiding skills and I still learned so much. The history of braiding, proper skill training, and most importantly sanitation in a professional salon environment. The staff is great, the will work with you to make sure you finish. It can be challenging but very worth while when you get you license because they help you with job placement after graduation if you need help. Life long networking opportunities and so much more.I highly recommend this place for natural hair and braiding certification. They also have a hair braiding teacher certification course as well for advanced students.

I attended here, I had a little knowledge of the basics of natural hair care, it was still a few things I couldn’t just quite execute really well. They instructors really took their time and showed me how to correctly do the technique. They also taught me the history of our hair, the proper care and maintenance. I highly recommend attending, the atmosphere was very friendly and comfortable.

This school is nothing but amazing. The teachers were skilled in everything they did. They made sure one on one time was provided. Amazon school is not only a school it’s a family from the day you step through the doors you are family. As a licensed hair braider I am extremely happy to have gained my license from such fine institute.

I had a wonderful experience. The ladies were very professional. From introducing themselves, to handling your hair with care, to paying attention to detail. I left there excited to start my new hair journey.

The staff was friendly including the students. The natural hairstylist was not very good. I have fine hair and she used the steel part of a rat tooth comb to rake through my cornrows. Not only could I feel my hair ripping I could hear it to. I requested that she not use styling jell to braid my hair because my hair does NOT respond well to it. It not only breaks it off it thins it out. Her response was, Ill try but its hard to bread hair without jell. Anyone that knows how to braid hair doesnt need jell. I could understand if my hair was super short but isnt. She swore its organic. Suffice to say, when I took my hair down, it has breakage and thinning from the jell. I didnt keep the hair style for a week because it was done so poorly. When washing my hair she was beyond rough. For styling DO NOT go. For a wash the students at the salon are great.

From the moment i stepped into the salon for the first time , i could feel the positive energy each person within it exuded. I am so grateful to be able to work so closely with likeminded people are all dedicated to highlighting the importance of knowledge and overall growth with the natural hair industry . For stylist and clients the same , there is a need for people who make it their business to promote and embrace natural hair/care and believe it or not Amazon Salon is a place to find both .

I took my 3 year old daughter here to get french braids...I know nothing about hair....so I sought-after professionalhelp! The salon was clean, but I think the stylist need better training to work with children, my daughter is a brat but I think she didnt want the stylist to do her hair because she was a little heavy on the tension....so my daughter was like no! my daughter has had her hair braided before and she sat nice and polite...there were literally bumps forming and she hadnt even finished a whole braid yet!

Didnt like the school at all, the owner and her daughter gives off horrible vibes. They only teach basic braiding, I learned 1 thing and thats it! If youre a beginner braider, this school is for you. If youre an advanced braider, like myself, this course will feel like youve wasted your money and time.. The only good thing about it is you get a license 😔. Theres only one sink in the student area that works and it leaks like crazy, this place seems like they are only there for the money, I was ready to finish as soon as I started.. Oh and theyll promise you a graduation, that youll never see.. Dont waste your time here 👎
