I couldn’t be happier with the school, is my sons first year and he loves it. He is very excited and happy to attend school everyday. Im happy with the school choice I have made. 😊😊😊

My children will not be attending this school next year. My 4 year old was suspended from after school care for a week because he ran out of the classroom to go upstairs. As a parent the first thing that goes through your mind is, where is the supervision? This school tries to view my kids as trouble makers because they’ve gotten in trouble every now and then. The school’s response to me on why my child (4 years) was suspended from after school care is because he left out of the room and because this isn’t the first time he’s been disciplined for misbehavior. (Unbelievable) I informed the principal that you don’t teach a 4 year old to not run out of the classroom by suspending him for 7 days, you talk to him and tell him it’s dangerous to do that and inform the parent and then I’ll take care of the rest at home. My whole experience from this school has been terrible! When I had my first parent teacher conference, one of my children’s teachers asked me, “What made me choose our lady of grace to enroll my children?” What kind of question is that?On top of this when the secretary called me to tell me that my son was suspended from after school care, and me being the upset parent that I am, I’m looking for answers as to why things had to come to suspension, not for fighting, not for hitting, not for drawing on the walls, or standing up on desks and throwing things but for being unsupervised... she kept talking over me and wouldn’t hear what I had to say. When they called me, they didn’t even know which one of my childern it was. They blamed it on my oldest child (6 years old) when it was my youngest child.I am very displeased with this school and how they handle matters for smaller childern. I feel very unwelcomed and the principal informed me that my 4 year old son will be suspended anyway for something that I feel is not his fault. She didn’t even know how he ended up running out of the classroom in the first place. Tell me how are you suspending a child when you don’t even know the facts? If my child would have ran out the door and gotten hit by a car then would they point the blame at the child or the adult that is caring for the child in after school care? Or if two kids ran out the room, you mean to tell me that it’s not the person who is in charge of watching them fault? Oh, so your going to suspend both children because they ran out of the room? I’m calling it like I see it, Lack of supervision. Don’t give me excuses that she/he has to keep her eye out on 30 other kids because if she/he would be keeping his/her eye out for all 30 of those kids then one kid wouldn’t slip away.You can’t place kids from ages 4-12 together in one room with a tv and old toys and expect them to not get bored. When I pick my kids up from after school care, there is no interaction. Instead of suspending children from a service that I’m paying money for, why don’t you guys find solutions on how to better the after school care program for the little ones. Like playing games and interacting and keeping them busy. Not all children are the same. Some children have more energy than others!
