Excellent school. I transferred my children this year from another catholic school and I was so amazed by how everyone was so welcoming. It put my mind at ease for my children. The school’s new STEAM Lab is incredible. Great extracurricular opportunities including coding classes, music lessons and a variety of Fine Arts activities. So happy I made the switch to St. Juliana.

A great school with lots of features that distinguishes it from other options. We love the small class sizes, strong focus on academics (Blue Ribbon School), and the STEAM lab that keeps kids engaged in learning. Theres morning and afternoon extended care (great for working parents), a new playground in the courtyard, and a ton of extracurricular activities even beyond sports and fine arts (my kids love after school activities like cooking club, fashion design, or video game programming). We arent from Chicago originally and found it to be a very welcoming environment not only for the kids but for the parents as well! Highly recommend.

Great school and even better community! St. Juliana has passionate teachers who work hard with and for our children. The school has changed a fair amount in last couple years: the leadership has invested in new curriculum (i.e., 2019/2020 STEAM lab) and in special resource teachers. The programs in athletics, fine arts, and after school clubs for kids have been expanded the last couple of years. Finally, the school is in process of making many other upgrades to the facilities. We love it!

St Juliana is the best! Instruction and support are provided on both ends of the spectrum-interventions for students who need extra support and advanced classes for students who excel. SJS has so many new and exciting things going on from a new STEAM lab and courtyard to numerous after school sports and clubs.

St. Juliana’s has been a part of our family’s life for many years now. My wife and her family attended the school but I became a member of the parish when we got married. Since then we have had 4 children receive their sacraments and all of them attend the school. St. Juliana’s parish has been a foundation that has allowed my family to grow in faith and it has provided my children with an incredible education.The efforts the teachers and administrators put forth is amazing, one of our children needs some extra help with his school career and the willingness of the staff to work with our family has brought my wife to thankful tears. The school itself has a welcoming atmosphere and has been constantly upgrading and building new resources for the children. Just seeing the new facilities over the past few years is astounding, and the fact that our children will receive an education that will benefit them for their entire lives is such a blessing.The parish and the church itself are wonderful. Our pastor is an inspiration who has provided us with great comfort during some difficult times following the recent loss of a loved one. This inspiration has allowed me to personally grow closer to my faith and the church. We love SJS! The school and Parish are very active and upbeat. They are always improving things so our kids have the best possible education and environment. They just got new windows in part of the school and updated the courtyard with brand new play equipment, turf, decking and benches. Theres also a brand new STEAM lab for the older kids. I dont know much about the big kid classes since my son is in PK, but Ive heard great things and have met a few WONDERFUL teachers of the higher grades. The class sizes are smaller (there are two 3 year old PK and two 4 year old PKs instead of one giant class for each). PK follows the Big Day curriculum and keeps very active. Since my son has started PK4 he has learned so much! We also love that there is after care both before and after school. We dont use the before school care but we do use Extended Care for after school, which makes life easier for working parents. I also love that the teachers all have their own blogs and post pictures and information about what the kids do all day.

St. Juliana School is a wonderful school where the teachers are attentive to the students needs, the staff is helpful, the variety of schedules is amazing, and the community is friendly and social.

Great neighborhood Catholic school, preschool through 8th grade, featuring small class sizes, new STEAM lab, extended care options before and after school and great community involvement.

Me and my daughter went here to play bingo.. its on Friday night, lots of funreasonable prices and theyhave food🙂 friendly atmosphere..
