We live in Texas now and when we are in town we always look for a class at Naveen’s Cuisine. The chef, food and atmosphere & vibe never disappoint. The new space is even better.I asked my 10 year old son to join me. Not only did he love the food (he had three servings, I was a bit embarrassed) but he jumped right in to cook alongside Naveen. We made chicken marinated in yogurt and Indian spices, okra and bread. It was not only fun and amazing food but also very educational. You can never practice enough knife skills. I highly recommend it!Come in a group or make friends with others taking the class; either way Naveen and his staff will make sure you have a great and memorable evening. Incredible! This was our third class with Naveen. In the past we have participated in group classes and this time we did a private cooking class with six friends. From the minute you walk through the door, you feel right at home. The kitchen is beautiful and so thoughtfully designed. Naveen’s menu was perfect and he crafted it to accommodate the dietary restrictions of our group. We enjoyed every minute of class, especially the delicious meal at the end. Naveen’s easy ability to connect with people and his helpful tips really made this class stand out from other cooking class we’ve taken!

Naveen hosted our intimate wedding ceremony and dinner on 11/7/20. While scrambling to find a place to have our 8 person wedding, we found Naveens Cuisine. There is not enough space to write a sufficient review here. From beginning to end, Naveen was in constant contact with us to answer any questions and ensure that our day was perfect (it was!). The food was amazing, and Naveens space is immaculate. We felt that he went above and beyond to ensure a safe event during the pandemic. He even played our ceremony music for us! The weather was unseasonably warm so we got to enjoy the amazing outdoor space with bistro lights. If you are looking for an event space for ANYTHING, call Naveen. There is no price you can put on the experience from this event. We will be back for a cooking class ASAP!

The first thing I have to say is that Naveen is the ultimate professional and the quintessential host! From our initial planning meeting with him to the very last minute we were able to celebrate in his venue, Naveen was incredibly helpful and easy to work with, hugely reliable, and made all our guests feel like family. His facility is beautiful and boasts ample indoor and outdoor space, his staff was highly capable and super friendly, and Naveens cooking was an absolute treat.If youre considering having an event at Naveens, stop considering and book. There are simply not enough good things to say about Naveens Cuisine, and we cant wait to go back for one of his group cooking classes!

What an incredible place! Went to a 40th birthday here. The space is gorgeous, food was delish, and Naveen was so kind and gracious. Fabulous time. Can’t wait to have a party here!

Finally, after YEARS of wanting to take a cooking class at Naveens- we did it! It was such a beautiful night- we learned some new tricks, we laughed, and we prepared and devoured a delicious meal. The entire establishment is gorgeous from floor to ceiling. Naveen is professional but also very down to earth, we immediately felt welcomed. Cannot say enough great things about our experience- I hope to bring some more family for another class in the near future!

I brought my wife here for the Israeli Street Food class and we loved it. Mat was a great chef and we will definitely come back. The kitchen is in a great location in gourmet ghetto so get ready to spend a memorable night!

Naveen is the best!! My husband and I attended a Thai cooking class with another couple and we loved it so much, I brought back my team for a private office event! The space is large, clean and great for a large group. Naveen goes through knife skills and does a demo of how to chop/use different ingredients. The class is not only fun but informative and DELICIOUS- Ive made a few of the recipes already! The best part is that its BYOB. All around great experience and we will be back!

Amazing fresh good quality food!

Last night was the third time I’ve been to Naveen’s Cuisine over the past several years. The first time was for a friend’s bachelorette. The second time was for my mom’s 70th surprise party. And last night was with my work team. Every time, Naveen has connected incredibly well with his audience and made the whole evening, from start to finish, delightful, delicious, and memorable! He has a warm and mischievous sense of humor, and makes everyone feel right at home in his place. I was excited to learn that he will be moving into a bigger space soon with an outdoor area and more to offer. I will continue to plan special events at a Naveen’s Cuisine and will look for any occasion to go back!

I attended a work event here and it was fantastic. Naveen is a very talented instructor and was able to adjust his instructions to the skill level of the class as well as individuals.The menu he put together was excellent and I feel confident I could recreate everything at home (with the help of his recipes, of course).I would recommend Naveens Cuisine to any group looking for a shared experience! Plus Naveen has a knack for remembering names, a small indicator of how he brings his whole self to each event.

One of the best cooking classes in Chicago! Naveen is incredibly personable and knowledgeable. The class starts with some basic knife skills and instructions on how to prepare the necessary ingredients for the recipes. Then you and your group will do all of the cooking. Naveen is in hand to help and answer questions, but this experience is definitely more hands on than other places I have tried. And the food is absolutely delicious! Best part is that you go home with the recipes (and any leftovers!) so you can recreate the meals at home. I highly recommend this experience for couples, a work outing, or social event.

Naveen is incredible! We recently had the chance to enjoy one of his cooking classes, where we not only learned amazing recipes, but some pretty incredible knife skills too.My family also had Naveen come out and cater a private event and the food was talked about for days. We gifted my father in law a birthday/retirement private cooking class with Naveen and were completely blown away! Naveen was extremely easy to work with to book the event and coordinate bringing beer/liquor/wine to ahead of time. He taught all of us a lot of great tips for cooking and we loved learning how to make several Indian courses. I ve been to a lot of cooking classes before and the recipes are usually too difficult to be able to recreate at home. Naveens recipes were just challenging enough, but now we can all make them at our house because he showed us the tips on prep, spices, and cooking. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a fun experience to celebrate any occasion! His space is very unique and made for an unforgettable evening!

Fantastic cooking class experience for our team with Naveen. Great tips on prep that we were all trying to absorb as quickly as possible, and then great quality food for us to cook our four dishes. The recipes used were fantastic, and he e-mails you a copy of them afterwards so you can do your best to try and recreate the magic at home. Most of all, just a very sociable, nice guy who youre happy to spend 2.5-3 hours with learning to cook. Highly recommend for any occasion, well definitely be going back!

Phenomenal Experience - prime atmosphere for enjoying a great night centered around delicious food

We did a Thai cooking class with Naveen a couple weeks ago and it was hands down one of the best cooking classes I have taken. Given the diverse range of cooking skills within our group, Naveen did a great job in helping us out and showing us how to cut vegetables using the appropriate knife cuts for each dish. He allowed us to use techniques that we were comfortable and showed us some great kitchen hacks. He was also extremely accommodating to our dietary restrictions. I would definitely take another class with Naveen and recommend his classes to everyone.

I cannot give enough compliments for Naveens Cuisine. We went to Naveens for a surprise birthday party with a group of about 14. Naveen is an incredible host - he somehow knew every persons name in our party within 5 minutes. You can tell he is passionate about his job and wants to make everyone comfortable and relaxed. Also great - its BYO drinks and snacks - so we were able to make old fashioneds and watch March Madness while waiting for the guest of honor to arrive.Once the birthday boy arrived, Naveen starts out with a quick demonstration of knife skills and basics on Indian ingredients. Then we split into teams and every team had a different dish to make for the group.The food was delicious and it was a nice change of pace from a normal dinner out. I recommend Naveens Cuisine for anyone looking for a creative way to spend an evening with friends.
