Had a wonderful salsa lesson here! The instructors were knowledgeable, patient and accommodating. Definitely would recommend learning how to dance here!

Wow! Alex at Dance Connection Chicago was incredible. In 3 private lessons, he taught me and my soon to be wife a wonderful and exciting first dance that we managed to pull off at the reception. He was flexible with times and fit our busy schedule since we made this decision 1 week before the wedding. We had so much fun during the process that we plan to return once a year or so as a fun activity. Highly recommend this!

My husband and I came here for dance lessons before our wedding, and theres no doubt we would have been an absolute mess without Alex!We really wanted to learn Cumbia, but neither of us had any experience with it. In eight private lessons, Alex, the owner, took us from awkwardly not even being able to follow his steps in the mirror to successfully completing three turns in a row! We started with the basics and slowly worked our way up to a routine. Now, were even feeling inspired to continue with dancing, as a fun activity to do together!Researching places to take dance lessons wasnt an easy task. There wasnt a lot of information on the Internet about any of the studios I found. But one day, while taking my dog to Medvet next door, I heard Latin music coming out of the windows of Dance Connection. And Im so happy we gave this studio a chance! Alex is incredibly knowledgeable and such a kind teacher, and his repertoire of different dances is seriously impressive.

This place is full of great people who excellent dancers. I was late for the lesson but it was amazing and very challenging. I will definitely return.

Great help. The owner pay personal attention to every person that attend the studio. They have several areas to practice diffetent dancing styles.

Alex Aldape, the owner, is the most brilliant Latin dance teacher in Chicago. Most get testy if students are not catching on to whats being taught. Alex is always completely relaxed and friendly during the most complex instruction - and even with testy students hes relaxed.

I have taken Salsa lessons and I used to take Cumbia classes with Alex. I love his classes. He is very organized and methodical and breaks things down very well. I have also taken some private lessons from him and found it very helpful.

I come here weekly to practice and the owner treats us as his family! The rental prices cant be beat. I seriously suggest trying a class here or booking at Dance Connections!

One of the most accessible and cheaper rates in the city for a studio. Needs updating but if you want and open practice space its pretty easy to get a slot.

I am on a dance team and at this studio, the owner alex is an amazing guy. He is very welcoming and really is generous in opening his studio to the public. I am there every week and it can get hot sometimes, but the rental is very afforadable. Great place for dancing, practice, get togethers, and socials.
