We booked 6 lessons to choreograph our first dance for our wedding. We had so much fun and ended up having enough time to choreograph the bridal party entrance as well! We laughed through every lesson and never took ourselves too seriously but are over the moon happy with the results!

Shes a fantastic teacher and the studio space is completely gorgeous.We did 4 sessions to feel ready for our April 2021 wedding by her recommendation, and it was perfect. I have some dance experience (no ballroom) and my fiancé had no dance experience at all. She balanced the different experiences levels seamlessly and helped us find steps that made my fiancé feel comfortable and gave us some moves that will make it more fun for me. Best part of wedding prep by far!

Before working with Jessica I was feeling really nervous about my first dance (I am a terrible dancer)... honestly was kind of dreading it. Jessica is so warm and friendly and patient... after our first lesson we got really into it! She is such a talented teacher - would take different approaches of explaining steps/ techniques so it resonated with both me and my fiancé. Ended up with a perfect dance and had a great time at our weekly lessons! Highly recommend!

Went here to take a belly dance class with Mayte Garcia, Princes first wife.The only criticism is that the dance studio is small for a group workshop.They specialize in ballroom dance classes and helping couples with their first dance for their wedding.Their prices are very reasonable, $60 a month for 4 classes, and currently on their website they have a 50% off special.They offer beginner and intermediate levels in ballroom and salsa dance with or without a partner.They are located in the fine arts building on the 2nd floor. The view is breathtaking, but the ride in the elevator is scary.If you live in the neighborhood or would like lessons for a wedding, this is the place for you.

Our dance instructor was Jessica. She is AMAZING! My husband and I came in to learn our first dance, and Jessica was so patient with us given that we did not have any dance background. She is so creative with the choreography and was so flexible on what we would like to incorporate to our dance. About 2 weeks in, I decided to add another song to our dance and she was really accommodating and it came out amazing! On our wedding day, we performed our dance and everyone could not keep their eyes off and continuously telling us how beautiful it was! Our first dance wouldn’t be as amazing without the help and talented Jessica. I highly highly recommend Windy City Wedding Dance for any events you want to prepare for. YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT!!

I enrolled for the 4 week beginner Salsa class and totally loved it. The classes are super convenient being once a week and a great way to learn some moves along with a lot of fun. The first week is mainly basics and the trainer gradually introduces us to something new every week which you can practice over the week before the next class. All partners are rotated so you dont dance with the same partner all the time. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to learn how to salsa.

My husband and I went there for lessons with our first dance and I can tell you I don’t ever regret going there. It was the best experience and totally worth it. I’m so glad my husband and I decided to go to the studio. they made us feel at home from day one even though we both were terrible dancers. On our wedding day we totally knocked it out of the park.

Jess at Windy City Wedding Dance was an incredible teacher. My husband and I took 6 lessons to learn a combination of the Rumba and Foxtrot that synced to our first dance song. Jess took time to teach us not just the basic steps but some fun things as well including a lift to impress our guests. The moves were not choreographed, but rather a list of moves we could do in any order when it made sense. We are now able to dance to a variety of songs thanks to Jess! We are so grateful for her help - we even received some cheering during our first dance!

My now wife and I got married last month and it was only a couple weeks before the big day that we realized that we didnt know how to dance together. We were only looking for a couple tips on some fundamentals so we wouldnt look awkward on the dance floor. So we went to Windy City Wedding Dance since it had a good reputation and got fixed up with Jessica who knew just what we needed. She was such a professional and even helped us when she was a little under the weather. We provided her our song and upon first listen she made a recommendation for my wife and I to do a rumba. Given that we didnt have a lot of time before our wedding Jessica instead planned an entire routine for us to learn on the spot. Simple, but still elegant and effective.From that one lesson, my wife and I took what we had learned and practiced almost everyday before the wedding and it went wonderfully. It couldnt have been better and we are so grateful for Jessicas time and help to make our first dance the best it couldve been.
