My daughter started in the cavaliers - kids program - and loves it, Jesse keeps the kids engaged and on task, but treats them with respect. I am hoping to start an adult intro class in the fall!

First of all the intro class Taste of the Knightly Arts is a great experience. Very methodical and step by step, lots of explanation and hands on help with immediate feedback, crucial for learning and developing skills.Secondly, great service. I bit off more than I could chew and signed up for a class that overlapped with my wedding and had to quit halfway through. They offered me a redo for free as a wedding gift which was really nice. Highly recommended!

Forteza is an absolutely wonderful place. The staff and students here are very welcoming to all people, regardless of race, gender, etc., as well as previous martial arts experience. Plus, you get to fight with swords.

This place is like a second home to me. Amazing instructors. World leading experts. Where else can you learn to swing a sword and meet amazing people while doing it. Stop in and check it out, you wont regret it.

I love everything about Forteza. It feels like home, even when theyre ribbing you about using a rapier instead of a longsword. The instructors are amazing, the facility kicks bum, and the friends Ive made there are awesome!

I called them twice, left two voicemails to inquire about their classes but it has been a week no one bothered to call me back. I do not know what was the reason of them not calling me back but in my opinion they are highly unprofessional, why have a business, a contact number when you do not respond to your potential customers. So even if it is the best class in Chicago, I am not going there ever again and I will assume that these guys were really busy and thats the only reason they did not call me back.

They denied me enrollment Ive been doing martial arts for 20 Years I have two black belts Ive never heard of this . Ive seen people reschedule before and offer altered classes but never denying. I hate to be this guy but could it be its a coincidence I was the only black person in the room.

The Fighting Fit workouts will kick your butt but it is a lot of fun the whole time and youll be wide awake for the rest of your day! Class aint got nothing on this place
