I like School of Rock because it offers a fun musical environment with many different programs for all age groups and many different instruments. There are programs for your children to learn playing music with other children. There are also adult lesson for any different skill level. There is even programs that allow you to join a band and play and collaborate with other musicians. There are many locations so it is likely you should be able to find one near you. The staff is extremely friendly and makes you feel welcome.

My daughter and I worship the Chicago School Of Rock. This institution is doing God’s work. It took an enthusiastic eight year-old with pop star aspirations, fostered her musical development through devoted and relentless personal attention and live performance opportunities and unleashed a level of ability and success we could never have predicted. It changed her life dramatically, and all for the better.

School Of Rock is the single greatest impact on my son. His self esteem has increased 1000%! His technical abilities since he started are impossible to overrate. If your child has any interest in music whatsoever, get them in this program as soon as possible. 10 stars out of 5

My son Dylan played junior guitar for the Beatles session in Summer 2020 and loved it! He was inspired by learning from older players and looks forward to paying that forward if the 2021 Beatles wait list opens up a slot. His parents also loved the video! Needless to say we endorse this great program!

SOR has given my daughter an environment to learn how to play bass, play with other musicians, and make new friends!

My son loves the faculty at SoR. They are are so friendly and enthusiastic. He is excited to go every session, and it is a great way for him to get into music.

My son started at another music school, but he has gotten 100% better with the teachers at SOR.

Its a real place - better than the movie! Full of talented teachers and great programs for all levels of students. My kids love this place for summer camps as well as ongoing weekly programs. It seems there is a good buzz around the organization and they are very active in performing around town. I highly recommend this business.

The staff are incredible: knowledgable and very helpful. My son has loved learning the guitar here. The whole place has an awesome chill vibe too!

Very thankful and excited to be sending my kid to the school of rock. Watching my daughter have an activity that has turned into a passion and confidence builder where she has learned to play guitar and sing in front of an audience has been transforming for her. Modern Rock Camp was enjoyed by my 13 (almost 14) year old son. He had a great time at the camp with the instructors and instruction. Only feedback for improvement he gave me, would be to divide camps by age.

My son has been in SOR for several years. He is thrilled with the level of instruction, quality of instruction, support and friendship with the staff and fellow students and the opportunity to play in a group. Great format. We are thrilled.

My kid loved camp! I think he felt respected and that gave him confidence. He really liked the feeling of having freedom of down time to practice or just sit and talk with friends. He really liked everyone who worked with him during the week and said that they treated him like “an equal”. The final show was amazing and it was obvious the level of instruction was professional. Loved it so much!

So cute! I love the movie and the musical was very similar but not exactly the same, which I like. The kids play their own instruments and it made me smile through the entire play. A few emotional moments and lots of laughs. Be ready to sit in a theater with a bunch of school kids, once the play started they were well behaved so it was fine. Recommend!!!

School of rock is an amazing place for your child to learn an instrument (voice included)! Your kid can learn to work with a band after school and for camp. The instructors are top notch and treat students with kindness and respect. Students are very nice and happy to welcome newcomers in to the school! If you are thinking about signing your kid up, do it! Its worth it!

Hell yea to lessons at this spot! Nice teachers, happened to find one that was not only talented but kind, patient and fun to play with! Really cool all around staff, definitely recommend to beginners and pros alike.

I love how the teachers make music fun for the kids. My kids have been in traditional music programs but it never clicked with them. School of Rock puts the fun back in music lessons and makes it practical for kids to relate to. My kids cannot put their instruments down and always appreciate an opportunity to show off.

My 10 yr old son has been taking drum lessons at SOR for about a year. He loves this place. He also did the summer camp and says its his favorite camp ever. He came home from 6 hrs of camp and practiced for 3 more hours. Ive never seen this dedicated before. The instructors get him and know how to get thru to him. The confidence that he has gained from performing on a real stage in front of a real crowd has been incredible. Each show he enjoys it more and more. I have nothing but good things to say about his experience here!

I have been at the Chicago School of Rock for 6 years now, and the amount of confidence, growth in my musicianship and stage presence I have gotten from this program is amazing. The teachers are great, and shows enable you to have fun WHILE learning a ton! Id recommend School of Rock to anyone!

The support provided to my daughter over the past few years has been exceptional. I am thrilled that she has had some opportunities to perform at some major Chicago venues, as well. SOR is amazing in many, many ways!
