Fantastic Music School! Been in business for 37 years and counting as of 2014, and only really advertising by way of word-of-mouth referrals all that time (which tells you how well other local families regard the school.) Finally breaking into the internet scene this year by starting a website. By FAR the best value for any music lessons in Chicago. Quite a few instrument options and a ton of knowledgeable, kind, and well-communicating teachers. The owner and founder has created a warm family-friendly atmosphere where one can get very involved with the school and the learning process. Even more discounts for families with multiple children taking lessons. A truly entertaining multiple-show recital every year, with many bands as well as solo musicians, plus some other activities throughout the year such as picnics, dinner groups, etc...

I was a new client (was), the instructor didn’t even know which books to teach. Then the old lady who owns the place, Coco, YELLED at me about which book I needed to buy for my children after the instructor had me PAY for another book. The worst customer service. It’s 17$, but you get what you pay for.

Ive been taking piano and voice lessons here for around 6 years and this place is really helpful professional and still really personal.

The owner of the place “Ms.Coco” is HIGHLY unprofessional. She has yelled at staff in front of customers unreasonably and physically throw books IN FRONT OF CUSTOMERS. This lady should not be running a business if she treats her employees (who might I add are delightful) like garbage, then how does she treat the students?
