Went here in the 90s, looking for an old friend. Kelley something, school was good back then would love to reconnect.

Great school, graduated kinder from here myself. Just like in any school, some teachers are more dedicated than others. Over all a great school. For the past 3 yrs I have little to no complaints.

I do not recommend this school to your young child or any transfer students my experience at talcott was decent at first but all these rules and staff members they’ve added has made this school worse. Teachers never have the time to talk to the students. The counselor of the school seems to only talk to us about High Schools and not talk about our problems and frustrations. They don’t really care about the bullying issue until it gets really serious and the problem with this is that they see and hear the name calling the pushing but don’t do anything about it and Call security for the exact opposite. So I really don’t recommend this school to anyone.

Hi I am Jacob Perez and all I can say it talcott is a wonderful school yes there are something that can go bad a times but all around it is great the teachers are there for me and other kids and yes it can be strict but for a reason to show us that us kids have a future in life and when I was attending talcott I thought I thought I was gonna be nothing until the principal and a beautiful woman name Kelly was there help me when needed talcott is good at many things like academics and sports but is comes with tough love if you can’t get right well I don’t know because I loved playing basketball for that school and if I didn’t act right or my teammates didn’t they would kick us off the team a help us ,they help me so much with academics so much as well I went form D’s to B’s and C’s all because of the tough love and things they did for me and other students there I would pick this school over any school and if you choose to transfer your son/daughter here I 100% think you should because they will make sure your child gets the help they need I was a student here for almost my whole life so I can back up why you should bring your child here thank if you take the time to read this about how great a school talcott is thank you

I attended that school from 3rd to 6th grade and it was horrible. There were only two teachers that I loved (Mrs.Becky & Mr.Zugiyer) , & honestly they were so caring and when they saw that something was upsetting you or that something was wrong , they took action and they were there to listen and had your back. The rest of the teachers and staff there have always been corrupt , and still are. My little cousin is currently getting bullied being called racial AND homophobic slurs by the kids that are just INSANE. The school isnt taking action which completely isnt a surpirse to me. Times havent changed. Please please please dont send your child to school here. It is a negative environment with negative faculty members.

My daughter school she still helping her but good teacher

This is one of the worst schools in existance. My daughter is getting mostly Fs. I try to speak with the school and they never have time to address the situation with me. Anytime I go in they tell me I need to schedule something with them, but never get seen. Much of the homework is through the internet. I tell them I have no constant internet connection, I need a paper option. They dont take me seriously. The school constantly gives new rules based on punishment. Like my daughter cannot use the bathroom for a week, or participate in class activities because she bumped something while standing in line. The student learns when the teachers do their jobs and teach. This is nothappening.

I am a formal student at Talcott ive been there for seven years of my life and I do not reccomed putting your child in this school my last years at this school was terrible this school has horrible staff memebers with such dumb rules like this one time I was in line and tring to see how many people were in front of me and my shoulder was out just a little the staff member had told me i was introuble for that and put me in back of the line with about 20 more kids in font of me becuase the luch line was two clases combined and made me sit by myself in the lunch roomThe teachers here are not good at all my reading teacher in the 6th grade had given us 3rd grade work and most of the time it was never collected or graded snd for my scince teacher had trouble controlling his anger that he had snatched my binder out of my hand and threw it across the room I had tryed to report it but as usal they didnt have the time to here a voice fom one of there studentsBulling is not taken seriouly here bulling is one of the reason why I had to transfer from this school i had also try to report it but again no one would listen it had become so bad thta i had started crying which was the only time they actally listend to me when my teacher had talked to me she basically said that there was no need to cry and I was showing weeknes so please dont send youre child here

I am very displeased with the actions taken by this school. When a student bring up an issue with administration, they dont take it serious until a parent is involved.Us students feel as if we have a very little voice in what happens to us. They treat us disrespectfully and snap and clap at us like were dogs. We get punished for speaking our minds. Certain students get special treatment. If I were to do something bad, I would get an entire speech about how its wrong but if they did the exact same thing theyd get away with it. Most of the time were not learning and when we express this to other teachers, they defend those teachers. They make up excuses for them as if theyve been with those teachers and in our situation . Its sad because if we tell this to administration, nothing will change.

This a good school but once i turned my head in the line then the staff told me to go at the end of the line which was weird and i regret that.
