I was so impressed! This campus is going to be such a great option for nursing throughout the Chicago area. Im looking forward to working with students from Oak Point University as the school growd and expands its impact. I was honored to meet with the faculty today and the leadership of this wonderful University.

Stay away. This university keeps changing its entity name-- starting from West Suburban College of Nursing --> Resurrection University- -> Oak Point University.... A higher educational institution with good reputations and sound management never does this.It is quite unethical that this type of unranked university has been charging students, who are often from low-income families, that high tuition (more than $900 / credit). In the nursing department, some professors were surprisingly incompetent (a couple of them demonstrated very little, or almost none, real nursing skills...)--does not worth the money at all.Those professors with low morals were severely harassing students and even verbally abused patients at clinical sites--usually black students and minority patients were targeted. I was always ashamed of myself, being part of that educational institution/healthcare system which blatantly approved those illicit behaviors of its employees. By the way, I and a couple of others still keep all the detailed records about their wrongdoings.And, as you know, this university is on probation and the nursing program has been poorly rated by Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation. Google yourself Resurrection University is on probation.Keep researching. There are so many nursing programs in IL. Quality of organizations you are associated with will certainly affect your future.

Id give it 0 starts if I could. 80% of the professors are horrible, the curriculum is a nightmare, they dont care how you do, but throw a fit for all those who havent passed the NCLEX, and wonder why... all while charging $1100 a credit hour (with fees), the most expensive Ive seen anywhere. Ive had to teach myself through this entire program... sad. (And Im not saying this because of poor grades, I have great grades... I just had to teach myself though while $1100 a credit hr)

The staff does not reply to e-mails, admissions pushes you around to avoid speaking to you. Completely disorganized, disrespectful and unprofessional institution. I don’t know how they actually enroll students.

Worst university in the world. Totally screwed up my daughters classes. Dont go there.

Toxic, zero concept of basic ethics, corrupt to the core, and passionately incompetent: There is no honor in obtaining a degree from this school. This is a very high risk institution, that does not adhere to any code of conduct other than getting students’ money. Once that’s done, their obligation to you is null and void.

This school is on probation. It will probably get shut down soon. And it shows.

Im having the best learning experience in the HIM program. All the professor are fantastic along with the staffs.

Great learning experience in the Health Information and Informatics Management Program, great professors and advisors willing to assist you.

If you dont have an idea of what to major in, or if nursing is just not for you, go into health information management! Great program:)
