We did five daycare tours to find the right place for our two year old and CCLC fully had our hearts. Five weeks in, our VERY SHY girl jumps out of bed every morning to get dressed, practically dragging us out the door to be with her buddies at daycare.When we met with director, Lois for our initial virtual tour, I knew right away that we had found a special place. Pointing to photos of all the adorable kids and their country flags, she was beaming with pride explaining how their center welcomes children from all over the world and every socio-economic group. As she walked us through all the spaces, I noticed how bright and spacious the rooms were. One of my favorite aspects about their building is that they have a large rooftop play area that wraps around the building. In the summer months, they even have sprinkler parties.When we came in-person to grab the paperwork, I was blown away by the amount of artwork in the corridors. My husband and I are both creatives and all the colors and unique applications felt so happy and inviting! But what REALLY made my mamas heart happy is the joy I felt among the staff. You could feel from every person we came across that they love what they do. Thats the type of environment I want my little one in.I should also mention that their daycare phone app ROCKS!!! We get notifications all throughout the day...what she had for meals and how much she ate, lots of adorable photos and vidoes showing all their activities, when she went down for her nap and how long she slept. Its so comforting to feel connected to what shes doing all day!Five stars plus for CCLC!!!

This was a great find. My son has been going to Cornerstone since he was 6 months. The teachers and staff are very caring and professional. The school is very warm and welcoming and decorated throughout with kids crafts and pictures. They have projects and activities even as infants during the week. They use the Brightwheel app to post notes, pictures and videos. The students and staff come from are diverse international backgrounds. The directors and assistant directors are open and communicate well. During these pandemic times they have taken many precautions and keep classes small. They are a nonprofit and tuition is a tad reasonable than any standard daycare ( we luckily haven’t been charged tuition for the 3 months lockdown). They are open longer than other schools too so it was so convenient for drop offs and pickup

Excellent school with great teachers and staff members that truly love what they are doing!. I like the school because has a lot of advantages. hey celebrate different cultures and backgrounds. The activities look really fun, and we get lots of videos and updates. There is lots of arts and craft, producing seasonal souvenirs that we can hang up at home. . We have had a great experience at Cornerstone Childrens Learning Center. The staff is very helpful.

I don’t know if I can express in words how wonderful this place is. Our son attended Cornerstone for over 3 years since he was 2 years old. The first thing you notice when you come in is the feeling of being at home, a sense of community, and caring. Everyone that works there have been wonderful, from the teachers to the front desk person and the directors. All the staff knows all the kid’s names and are always available and kind. They have so many additional programs in the classrooms, like science, yoga, Bobbie the bear (work out class), music, art etc. They have an attached outdoor playground and go outside everyday weather permitting. It’s a very diverse school, with kids and families from all walks of life, background, ethnicities, and languages spoken. Plus, it’s the best priced school in the neighborhood :)

This is a fantastic school. My daughter is always playing happily when I pick her up. There are daily activities for the kids which happen weekly - music, science, Spanish, art, and gym class. The staff is great; you can tell they are committed to every childs success. I couldnt have imagined a better place for my child.

My son had a fabulous experience at Cornerstone after a disappointing experience at a previous daycare center. ALL teachers and administrators at Cornerstone are fully engaged and always pleasant. I credit Cornerstone for my sons growth, both mentally and maturity. Also, many of the students are children of foreign state department employees which amounted to great diversity - I feel like a heard a new language spoken by these families each day. Easy drop off and pick up too. I would highly recommend you check out Cornerstone if you are looking for childcare.

My son loves Cornerstone Childrens Learning Center and he has excellent time there every day. During our initial search of a day care about three years ago this was the only child care he felt comfortable and relaxed on the walk through from all the different locations we visited. This place is full of caring teachers who helped our child pass through the period of the separation anxiety and they were very patient while he knew no English when he started. Another great advantage is the safety of the venue with the playground on the balcony, so kids have fresh air without leaving the premises. My son attended Cornerstone Childrens Learning Center for 6 months after the birth of my daughter. I wanted him to have some social interaction as well as getting used to a set routine in preparation for school. We all had such a great experience. He did not want to come home when it was time to pick him up. He would talk about his teachers and classmates often. We chose Cornerstone because of their small school size. It felt like family. Even teachers that were not his classroom teachers knew his name. They are very reasonable in prices as well. The ONLY reason we took our son out was because of a job change in a new state. I highly recommend this center.

We moved to Chicago from Poland when our son was not even 2 years old. We started in toddlers group for couple of weeks then transferred our son to 2s. Even though the beginning was little difficult the place is awesome. I have no words to describe how caring all the teachers are, how involved all the staff is, how great and diverse everyday program is at CCLC. This was the best choice we have ever made for our son. PS. Even the food was great as he was always eating something. So if you are to pick a safe and truly caring place for your little one CCLC should be number one on your list.

Our 2 year old daughter has been going to Cornerstone/Childtime for the past 7 months. We previously had her at another center that was much more expensive. We were hesitant to make the switch to Cornerstone because we were concerned about how they would be able to provide quality care and education for only $300/week (as compared to approx. $2000/month at our other facility).Im so happy to say how wrong we were. The teachers at Cornerstone are so great. They are loving and kind and genuinely seem happy to be working there. The turnover is extremely low for a daycare facility in this city, and they have had the same management for years. The cost savings is due to the facilitys 501(c)(3) status. This enables them to focus on care versus profits, which was a big problem at our former facility. Importantly, Im surprised by how much my daughter is learning. After just a couple of months, she has already learned the alphabet, how to count to 15, all of her colors, shapes, body parts, and animals, and much more. They also bring in outside teachers to do activities like Spanish class, gym time, and others. The facility has an outdoor play space which enables my daughter to get time playing outdoors without having to go to a local park, which is rare for daycare facilities in Chicago. Overall, I couldnt recommend this gem highly enough.

We love this place!! Everyone is great and very friendly. Weve NEVER had any issues with anyone there. My kids were moved into the appropriate classes when they were ready .My husband is a very difficult person and has very high standards. He looked into so many daycare centers in chicago area and finally settled on Corner stone childcare . We love this place!! Everyone is great and very friendly.Yes, theyve had staff changes, but that is very common in the child care industry. But they always have at least 2 care takers per class, so when one leaves, theres always another staff member that the kids are familiar with. We are ALWAYS informed BEFORE a staff member leaves and ALWAYS introduced to the new staff member in person .My boy had food allergies that i would have to deliver food to him every day. The teachers took their time to help . The staff members were also very helpful .No one or no place is perfect, but this place is one of the BEST.We love corner stone child care!!Kiko!!

My daughter stayed at Cornerstone for 3 years from 2 years old to 5 years old. The teachers were patient and warm-hearted. At starting, my daughter experienced very tough period. She cried every day for separating from her familiar home environment and mommy. Without the teachers and preschools help, she wouldnt be able to go through the first couple of months and finally turned out to be a happy and confident girl. Cornerstone also did good job on build up necessary knowledge for connecting pre-k to Kindergarten. I should say I heard lots of times my daughter told me when she was in the Kindergarten last year that I learnt this in Cornerstone already!

I dealt with this high school for two and a half years, and I am still dealing with them, my children have learned a lot and have acquired many skills in life such as reading, writing, self-reliance and independence in personality.The whole school staff is very cool, it started with Principal Louis and the assistant principal Anila, they are all adorable and they are very nice. The teachers are all qualified and wonderful in dealing with children.In my view, I consider this school to be the best educational school and nursery school in Chicago. I advise all family, friends and colleagues that you enroll their children in this high school and they will see a great improvement in their childrens performance.To them, my best regards.
