I absolutely loved my course at the institute! I had Mr. Josh Orlan and he was very personable, professional, and enthusiastic about his work in real estate. I had class virtually and was still able to be engaged thanks to Mr. Orlan, he really made the material easy and was there to help any time! Highly recommend!!

My experience in Oliver’s Brokers Course has been exceptional. Oliver is truly invested his students education and their growth entering the real estate industry. Adjustments are made as needed to meet the needs of the student. Small class sizes and leveled learning kept me engaged. .

I completed the six week online class in December got my Transcript on 19th. Joshua W Orlan (Josh) was my instructor. I found his instruction to be very engaging and relevant. He added a lot of necessary, additional information that helped me to learn the material. I fully submerged myself in the materials , then took the National and State test on January 19th 2021 and passed! I would not have been able to do it so quickly without the meaningful content of the class.Got my License on Feb 17th 2021.Thank you Josh Orlan for all the 5 star support and encouragement he extended during the Class.I highly recommend this class.

Excellent instructors. Dated materials and tests. They did not provide a coherent and adequate renewal course I enrolled in due to COVID, and they did not offer a refund. They just give you worksheets without a textbook or context, just go to ceshop.com for renewals. CREI will stall on the phone just so they don’t have to give answers, and their disclosure on refunds is not printed anywhere.

The Chicago Real Estate Institute is a small school with small classes which means the teachers have more time to answer your questions. The have great classes which work with your schedule and skill levels, wether you are a beginner or expert they have you coverd

I got through their online courses and found out that the exam was to be an in person, proctored exam and was told that this was by the Illinois Real Estate Division rules. I called The CE Shop and was told no, that was not true, and that all of their online Illinois Broker courses were 100% approved by the Illinois Real Estate Division. I asked for a refund and even though I was told on a recorded call that it was refundable I could not get a refund. When I said that on the previously recorded call that I was told I would receive a refund, I was told that none of their calls are recorded. Someone lied. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE. Go to The CE Shop.

I recently completed the two week class. Oliver and Phil were the instructors. I found the instruction to be engaging and relevant. They both added alot of necessary, additional information that helped me to learn the material. I fully submerged myself in the materials for the two weeks of class and on the weekends, then immediately took the test and passed! I would not have been able to do it so quickly without the meaningful content of the class. I highly recommend this class.

I took the online self-study Leasing course offered at Chicago Real Estate Institute then went to their physical location to take the final for said course. Roxy Pelagio was the only person in the office so she administered the test but mistakenly provided me with the real estate broker exam instead of the leasing exam. When I questioned why I received such a poor score on the test, noting that nothing on the test related to the study guide, Roxy realized her mistake. After this, she administered the correct test and informed me that I passed. When I went to collect my transcript, my address was wrong; Roxy remade it and corrected this. The new copy had my first name spelled wrong, she then made another corrected copy. I took that copy to my employer, who then found Roxy had misspelled my last name as well. At this point, the whole ordeal was getting ridiculous so I called the school and explained my issue. Roxy said she would email me yet another corrected version, this was in the form of a broken and unusable link. I called her and asked her to send the corrected transcript again and she did- AGAIN as a broken and unusable link! I called the office once more and got their voicemail. I explained that I was very upset and would like my transcript as an attachment. After about 10 minutes, I received what I thought was the final corrected copy.Weeks later the IDFPR told me my license was inactive because they still needed my pre-licensing transcript to be authenticated. The transcript provided to me by Roxy did not have the school’s seal nor a signature by a school representative on it and therefore wasn’t acceptable. I emailed all of the above to the school and Oliver Stone sent me a corrected copy within 24 hours. Aside from all this, their course material is relevant and properly equips you for the state exam. However, I would recommend going elsewhere.

The training for the broker class was okay. We had 4 different teachers, so there were definitely some loose ends. The book for the class started falling apart during the class and eventually was unusable. I called about it, but the only thing I was offered was an option to pay for a new one.
