**Update after 8 months of owning a property that she was sold to me.I later found out the seller was her mentee in a house flipping group. This 2 flat is super cute cosmetically, but the Rashauna and the seller covered up major issues and supposedly fixed the roof with patch work, not letting me know there are leaks inside or that the electricity to the garage doesn’t work at all. The outside window stain in the image was painted over during the selling the process. These are issues that costs thousands of dollars to fix.When I inquired about why the garage wasn’t in use, the seller lied about the issue. And Rashauna encouraged me not to ask to get it fix.I didn’t expect her know everything but to advocate for me. Because it’s her mentee who she taught how to flip homes is concerning.Rashauna also suggested to offer 10k more than what the property was originally said to be and it was off market.Unless you’re buying a new luxury home from her, question everything. I was taken advantage of.This is disappointing because I am a young black woman and first time home buyer and they were two black women I wanted to support.

Victor Canelas was amazing! He worked with me for 7 months straight, helping me to find and finally purchase my new home. I had looked at a condo that I loved, but my mortgage broker couldnt work out the financing, so I went to another and she helped me with it. Id given up on the condo, but Victor didnt give up. He kept working to get me in there and the upshot was the sellers real estate broker did some kind of shady things. I was ready to give up so many times, but Victor kept telling me that wed find the right place and finally we did. Im moving there next week. Its my very first very own house that I bought and Im 75 years old. I couldnt have done it without Victor. He was brilliant and I cant praise him enough. Thank you!
