My two and a half year old was only at this “school” for a month and it was HORRIBLE. The first day I could clearly see on the camera that my daughter was not being watched. The workers were in the closet for long periods of time (probably on their phone), walking in and out of the classroom (out of ratio), sitting down with their backs turned away from the kids, or sitting down. The kids play all day long or watch tv (nothing educational) and there is very minimal interaction with the children from the staff. I brought this to the workers and the director’s attention, on the very first day. The only thing the director said was she was going to watch the cameras and that they should not be cleaning while the kids are awake. She never followed up with me, never asked how were things going, if I had any concerns, nothing. The first week my daughter got sick, understandable, this is a new environment for her, full of germs. However, there are two sinks in the classroom that I never seen the kids use. Never seen the toys or cots being cleaned, and these kids are wiping their snotty noses touching these toys and laying on different cots daily, causing more germs to be passed around. I was told that the state required that they only wash their hands when they come from outside or use the restroom, also understandable, but common sense should say, lets wash hands before eating or after playing with toys? I inquired about the lesson plans that I was informed the workers had posted (which I never seen). They were never implemented and was told that the kids learn through play and they won’t start actually learning until they get to the 3 year old class. The director informed me that with this age group they work on social skills. I had to bring the class flash cards and other learning activities just so I could feel like my child was learning something. Someone else made a review that this place was ghetto and I have to agree. Staff walk around with bonnets and scarfs on their head, I heard several staff using profanity, the way that they talk to the children is unacceptable and the entire environment is unprofessional. I addressed the scarfs and bonnets with the director (as well as everything else that I am posting) and she told me that it was addressed before but the staff had started back wearing them and it’s a “gray area” because she doesn’t pay attention to their hairdo. So I took that as, I’m scared to address it again with my staff. The workers need to work on communication with the parents. My daughter was into a fight almost every day that she was there and she is usually not physical and not one time did they tell me because they were obviously not watching her. If I asked how she did, the favorite response was good. There were a few times I dropped her off while the kids were eating and I had to call up there to tell them to feed my child and not just let her play. The final straw was when I picked up my daughter up on a Friday and her shirt, t-shirt and pants were drenched from the water fountain. She looked like she had just gotten out of the tub! The fountain is outside of the play area they were in so obviously my daughter repeatedly walked outside of this area or was there for a very long time without anyone noticing her. Not only did they not see her at the water fountain but no one seen that her clothes were wet to change her. I immediately addressed this with the director and although she sounded as if she understood my anger, her main question she asked was, “so is today her last day?” Tuesday I called to inform her that my daughter wouldn’t be back and her response was, “does she have any things here that you need?”. For the director to be a mom and have an educational background, she seems to be either oblivious or in denial about what is going in the facility. I can go on and on and If I could get in touch with the owners of this facility to tell them how this place is ran I would, I tried but couldn’t find much information.

My daughter started at this school I loved it at first until they started to hire a bunch of new people, I never knew it was any problems with me and the employees and the director of this establishment until my sister called me asking what have I done to my child I didnt know what she was talking about I just heard her crying and she said 241 kids had my baby and they were taking her and they needed my other baby, the most traumatizing thing that ever happened to me!!!!!! The day before I had went to this day care to pick up my child the young teacher who lied on me ( Beionca Gerald ) greeted me with ooou you going to be mad, she does not know me only been working at the center for about two months that kinda threw me off for her to say that she began to tell me my daughter pulled down her pants and she was showing other girls in the restroom so Im shocked embarrassed I neiled down to my daughter and asked her what happened she said I dont know so I asked her again she stated crying then I raised my voice at her and she peed on her self I was going hit her but she moved so I tried again and she dodged it but she fell down I didnt want to cause a seen so I was trying to make her hurry up and leave So my daughter was three at the time she told the police I had punched her in her with all my force in her stomach and in her face and when I punched her in the face she flew on the mulch ( this was in the play ground) my daughter is light skin and she was 20 pounds I just couldnt believe they believe her my kids got taken away from me for five months because of this girl what ever you do make sure you dont fall on this girl bad side only god knows how badly I want to know what I do to her to say all those things and she was right there so she seen everything that happened and my kids had to go to the er to make sure they wasnt abused no signs of neglect or abuse but let me remind you I just punched my 20 pound daughter in the stomach and in the face with ALL MY FORCE Im 53 and 180 pounds but childrens hospital didnt see any bruises or marks and thats what she told the police
