Great flight training school. I am a current student at ~20 hours of training, Part 141, and it is going great. Staff are all very knowledgeable and friendly, and the aircraft are diverse and well maintained. Scheduling is easy and they are definitely a flight school committed to making sure youre a good pilot, not just checking boxes to pass a test.Lunken is a great airport to learn at as well. There are other flights schools in the area, but Lunken here is at a towered airport, which means youll build the ATC skills as you learn, which is great. The runway configuration is also ideal, with a large ILS runway parallel to a smaller one, so its not hard to practice even when traffic is busy. ATC is also very friendly and obviously very accustomed to working with student pilots.

A great place to learn to fly. If youve ever thought about it, I highly recommend checking them out.

You will not find a nicer staff to work with. Sarah and Shooby are top-notch people and I can only assume everyone else there is of the same caliber. Truly amazing customer service.

My teenage son has been interested in planes and flying for quite some time. We got him the Explorer discovery flight for his 14th birthday. He had the greatest time on the flight. Steve the instructor was super nice and informative. All of the staff we interacted with at the training center were great. Would recommend.

Great school. At first glance, its just a little general aviation school at a small (but towered) airport in Cincinnati. But as soon as you get to know the instructors and their backgrounds, you realize how high the quality of instruction really is. All of the instructors that work here are just excellent. I guess its kind of a statement about the current state of the aviation industry that such high quality instructors are currently working at a small school like this, but that means that the students get excellent value for their money. They arent cheap by a long shot, but they arent super expensive either. I will definitely stick with these guys past my private pilot license. Theyre super friendly, connected in the local community and are excellent instructors. 4.5/5

I have taken 4 people to do the introductory flight lesson and it was steller every time... Thumbs up the the Staff... Affordable Too !

I received my Private Pilots training from Lunken Flight Training Center in 2016. My primary instructor Stephen was excellent, along with John (Chief Flight Instructor). They have multiple airplanes to rent and are well maintained. My only hiccups were the occasionally scheduling snafus, but most of this has be remedied with a fulltime time flight coordinator now.

Did some sim training there for IFR proficiency.. Very good instructor and very nice experience. Prices on the high side for aircraft rental however.

Was charged for 2 hour flight, only got one hour. No refund. When approached they said a check was in the mail. That was 2 months ago. Liars and scam artists find another place to train
