This place was amazing. It gave me a good leg to stand on when I was wanting to enter the field of heavy duty trucks. I now have a great job and loving what I do for a living. I came into the program knowing very little about mechanics, nevermind diesel. I leave having acquired a wealth of knowledge and skills. The instructors are tough but extremely knowledgable, I am tremendously greatfull to them. I met great people and made many good friends. The only thing I would say, otherwise, is that the program could benefit from more shop time.

This program is great all the instructors were so helpful I wanted to be a diesel mechanic for semi trucks and this program meets all my expectations, I was a little nervous because my English was not that good but everyone here all the instructors including my friends help me a lot thanks to everyone and just wanna say respect for everyone

This place has a great environment for learning and getting a feel for shop like situations. I had a great time meeting new people from all over and some locals that want to persue the same thing as me. Really great experience! If you are looking for a way into the diesel industry I highly recommend ADTC. I received a great education in a short time, and for less than a quarter of what I would’ve paid at a traditional tech school. The instructors are awesome guys who genuinely care about your education. If you apply yourself and are willing to learn you will be hard pressed to find a better experience.

This was a very good course to learn basic knowledge on Diesel engine repair and servicing. It’s a fraction of the cost of a 2 year school. You learn so much in the time frame that you are here. I took the 5 week course, 8-5 Monday-Friday. I highly recommend this program to anyone that is looking to get into the Diesel repair industry.

Great training at a fast pace. If you are in a financial situation where you can’t put your life on hold because of bills children or whatever it may be this is the school for you. 12 weeks tops and you can be a service technician anywhere. Great friendly environment safety is a number one here. You also have 3 highly skilled former technicians that will be your instructors. The criteria covers any thing you will encounter as a service technician just starting in the field. They also help place you in a career right out of school many jobs to choose from as well. And the tuition is hard to beat I’ve heard many stories from people about how they owe a school or training facility thousands of dollars at American Diesel the tuition is affordable for anyone. Overall great fast pace place to get hands on training from really experienced instructors get a feel for a shop environment and to get placed in a career field all in less than 12 short weeks.

This schooling was sort of a last second decision for me and it was a good one. The instructors are the extremely good I went in not knowing much about diesel just about cars and gained a lot of knowledge in a little time frame so I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to be a diesel mechanic!

Talked to a guy named Nathan Fleming. Told me that I should be good to attend the program then changed his story. Definitely wouldnt waste my time or money with these people. Go find an apprenticeship in a shop. Its a far cheaper route and pays better in the end. Thats what I ended up doing. Very judgemental folks. Waste of time and money.

Great place to get quick training to enter the field of diesel repair. I enjoy every day and its hands on from the start. No fluff like some of the others and taught by instructors who have actually worked in the field. Structured like a working environment instead of a class. No textbook will teach you how to be handy with tools and work with others to complete repairs, you have to just do it and practice like you would on the job because no two days, trucks, or technicians will ever be the same. I will miss this class. I am glad there is finally a school that decided to cut the fluff and get to the good stuff!

This is a great place to go if you’re looking to get into the diesel industry. It’s short and sweet, straight to the point, and they work their tails off to get all of their students jobs in the field coming out of the course. It might sound cheesy, but when i discovered American Diesel, i thought it sounded a little too good to be true. But i was pleasantly surprised when i discovered just how credible it is. Twelve weeks, in and out, and the instructors worked hard to help place me with a good company. The program isnt for everyone, though. If youre not serious about a career in the diesel industry, and not willing to put in the hard work that they ask for here, you wont make it very far in the program. I would highly recommend this program to anyone looking for an alternative to trade schools or community collages as i was. personally, im really gonna miss my instructor, Nick Cook. Hes a great teacher, and someone i now consider a good friend.

I have been to many a schools and seen all kinds of teachers. In my opinion there are no teachers like Nathan and Nick. They are very knowledgeable in there field and they are willing to work with you individually and adapt to your learning style. When I first started I was not very good or confident. Now that I am entering my last week Ive learned more than I could ever imagine and I am confident enough to work on any vehicle. I cant praise them enough. Thank you Nathan and Nick for everything!

As being here for 6 weeks I have found this establishment to one of the best I ever been taught under the instructors show great pride in teaching the students how to become great diesel technicians as a student my self who had no knowledge of the technician world i though it would be imitated and be overwhelming but after they taught and explained I became very confident and was very proud to know I could do it and how easy it was the instructors don’t teach like a professor they teach like human being with extra care to make sure you understand and if you don’t they work with you to make sure you get the information on this last day I was sad cause although I knew this day would come I wish I could start it all over again but i would recommend this school to any and all that’s not just looking for a career but looking for experience that’s like nothing you seen before

When I first went to tour the Cincinnati location of American Diesel I just figured it was going to be like working in the shop environment and it was. In my personal opinion I think that I could not have asked for any better instructors than Nick and Nathan. This is one of the best schools i have ever been to in my life. The things they have taught me in the matter of weeks, I will be able to take with me for the rest of my life. I thought that I would be learning from someone experienced in the industry however they paired me with a young guy that had about a decade of experience. The guy spent most of his time on the phone instead of teaching and it felt like I was rushed through the program. I mean if youre looking for quick and easy then this is it but dont expect to come out knowing anything. Youll be playing catch up when you get on the job.

Coming into this program, Ive had little to almost no mechanical experience. In just twelve weeks, Ive learned how to properly service, diagnose, and repair various problems and components on diesel trucks as well as learning how a commercial vehicle runs and operates. Before I even graduated the program, I landed a job with L&N Truck Service who was very willing to give a fledgling mechanic like myself a chance. Been really enjoying the field and would recommend American Diesel Training Centers to anyone looking for a head-start in a career in diesel mechanics.

Kenworth sent us through here for training and granted Nick and Nathan are definetly up with the best. They got trucks for hands on training, tools to use, and have the knowledge to share. They will for sure be getting a good word through Kenworth. If your new work, or your a company looking for a training facility to train or be trained on diesel engines then this is the place. Great school to learn to become a diesel tech

Straight forward program...short classes and hands on training. Plenty of career options as a diesel technician are now available to me...I just accepted a full time job offer earlier this week. I would highly recommend this program...

I’ve been driving trucks for years, I believed I had found my home of sorts with that. That was until the truck I was driving for a local company kept having problems that I nor anyone else could fix. Almost like a sign ADTC popped up on my Facebook. I wrote that day and got a response in about 10 minutes. 2/3 days later I had the opportunity to do a campus tour. 48hrs later I was letting my company know that I intended to go back to school. The hands on curriculum was perfect for me as I fancy myself a problem solver. Now thanks to the decision I made to better myself and learn more, I’m in an amazing job field with a career to build on. If you have the drive to learn and apply what you learn to a fast paced career in the growing Diesel Industry I implore you to take my advice and give American Diesel Training Centers a call, take a tour meet the instructors Make a decision to prepare yourself for not just a job but a career. (PS four days in I had the answer to why the truck I was driving at my last job was was malfunctioning.)

Im a current student during the daytime class with Instructor Nate F., and I can honestly say that I have nothing but good feedback.Its the best and most efficient way to get into this industry right now. I cant speak for nighttime Instructor Nick C., but Nate is very competent in diesel work and he backs him.I know Nate wont put up with poor effort or attitude. He keeps it real and will work with you one on one A LOT.The staff is equally as vetting regardless of sex, religion, color, etc., so come to work!Lastly, if you want to complain about the financial side of things then take yourself to a 2 year program and get into 30-40K of debt with the same position I will be getting.
