I have no idea how this place gets bad reviews! I trained there for a few years at both the Palm Harbor and Clearwater locations. Hes a great instructor very thorough, hands on and knowledgeable. I mean I really could go on and on. But how he teaches and explained techniques while youre training especially rolling is top notch. Better than other gyms Ive been to.

Shihan (Don Grady) is an amazing instructor who genuinely cares about his students. I came to the gym not knowing anyone, and being a female in a male dominated gym I was nervous. Everyone welcomed me and helped me to learn in a fun way. I got plenty of one-on-one training with each of the coaches which I didnt get much of with any other gym. I love that the coaches didnt go easy on me for being a girl, and Don would let me know anytime new girls joined the gym so I could practice with them if I wasnt currently attending. I got into the best shape by attending this gym and I cant wait to go back soon!

Absolutely amazing place thats women, men, & youngster friendly. Cater to ALL levels of knowledge & they will work super hard to get ANYone to the TOP that they are wanting to attain. Also dont pressure or down about anything.

Me and my brother trained under Don Grady for 4 years. He was a great instructor and really taught us a lot. When Don moved away we started training at team Irish and thats when we really found out how great Don is as an instructor. Our first night there we tapped out a lot of opponents. You learn stuff that these cookie cutter fight factories dont teach under Don. He taught us how to fight in a cage and how to do it on the street in a self defense situation. I am very thankful to Shihan Don Grady.

This gym legitimately did nothing to help me. I couldn’t get anything done that I wanted to. The person who was helping me couldn’t give me any help and didn’t know what he was doing.

Unorganized unstructured school. No real classes on any consistent basis. No consistent instructors, every few months you have to wonder who is teaching what and when. Full sized cage, large mats and tons of bags were about the best thing about this place.

If I could give it ZERO stars I would! Avoid this place and spend your money else where! The owner Don is a basket case - literally the dude has screws loose and should be medicated. Hes rude and disrespectful to women and children.

I am surprised this gym stayed in business as long as it has. I never felt there were any skilled trainers there. The ones I dealt with had no patience. I never felt like they were here to train, wasted my time. Not cheap!!

I am a former student of Shihan Don Grady. I thought I was pretty good at MMA fighting when I first started at Gradys MMA. I trained at other gyms in different states, and I had police training (civilian and military). I was pretty successful at MMA fighting everywhere else I had attended prior to my start at Gradys. However, when I began my training at Gradys MMA, thats when I learned how well those students are taught. I think I lost every spar ever for about two straight weeks. I could tell that whatever I thought I knew before I entered Gradys MMA was nothing compared to how much I could learn from Shihan Don Grady, his instructors, and all of his students. Thats the best part of Gradys MMA; the whole place operates like a big family and they all look out for the success of one-another. When you come into Gradys MMA, you come into an environment where youre taught by the best and everyone works together to make everyone the best mixed martial artist they can possibly be.

I signed up to this gym and the next day the instructor don kicked me out because he said i disrespected his wife. which is not the case,,, than he goes on and tells me oh ur said u were gunna do mma and wrestling which i never said i was into. i just wanted to work with jon the boxing coach who i thought was a good coach honestly,, because i had a boxing back round,,, long story short it really really must suck to be insecure about a good looking guy working out at his gym... and thats the real reason you kicked me out if ur reading this DON ur a clown and half a retard.... i left out of their in one peace out of respect to ur gym... long story short if ur a good looking strong guy dont workout at his gym dude is insecure as hell when it comes to his wife which i didnt even look at her direction... shame nowadays.... the guys that workout there were all cool dudes i was coming there to actually work and not interested in anything else.... but hey there are other gyms available later
