Best driving school!! I did 6 hours with them and they truly helped me be more confident and correct my mistakes. I passed my road test so I would definitely recommend practicing & learning with them. I had 3 different instructors but all 3 were kind & great teachers. They gave me very useful tips when it came to parallel parking as well. Would 100% recommend.

To be honest I took many classes because I didnt trust myself out in the road and I have anxiety, so I knew the more classes I took the better I was going to be. They helped my pass my road test. I enrolled in their 6 hour driving lesson along with the 1 hour training plus road test package. I had very little driving experience and zero confidence. Eddie was my instructor and he helped me through the process. He was extremely patient and worked with me focusing on my weaknesses. I passed my road test @Lodi with flying colors. Thank you Eddie!

Today, at 49 years old, I finally received my license!! I passed the road test on the first try thanks to Maria. I choose Maria as an instructor based on the wonderful reviews here. Believe ALL of the great things you read and hear about her! During my first lesson, I was terrified behind the wheel. Maria was so understanding, patient and calm that I couldnt help but to relax and put myself in her capable hands. With more lessons, Maria expertly helped me to improve upon my weaknesses, thoroughly answered every question verbally and/or with her own handwritten diagrams and made me feel confident in my abilities. Not only is she a great instructor but she is a genuinely kind and empathetic woman. I cried tears when I was told I passed because (1) I was excited to reach this milestone but (2) I was sad that I wont see and chat with her again. I was extremely afraid of driving for ever and for that reason stalled in getting my permit until I turned 20. I had Leo for my first 2 hours and he made me love being on the road and made me feel confident and gave me very good pointers and reassured me. My last 2 hours were with Maria and she was talking to me casual and made me feel comfortable and took me on the highway and didn’t feel scared at all, she gave me really good tips and made me get better at turning and helped me a lot. My second 2 hours though the instructor made me feel really nervous and seemed like he didn’t wanna be there. I understand I made errors but he sounded condescending rather than reassuring. He didn’t even give me his name

I did 6 hours and my road test with Eddie from this driving school. It was a good experience and he was very patient with me. I loved the fact that if I did the mistake over and over again, he didn’t get mad. He just patiently explained what I did wrong, even if he had explained it a billion times already. If it wasn’t for him, I definitely wouldn’t have passed my road test. Would recommend, 10/10.

They’re a really good school! All of the instructors are nice, patient, the prices are reasonable, and it’s an all around amazing experience! The instructors give you detailed instructions, help you get on the road experience, and help you practice for the actual test. I was a 31 year old learning how to drive for the first time. A life long New Yorker, I had never bothered! But when my husband got sick and couldnt drive easily anymore, it became a necessity. I called 7 driving schools for price quotes and details before settling on Universal. They were the best priced, had great reviews and were professional and friendly on the phone when I called. They did not disappoint in person. Since we only had a manual transmission vehicle at home, I did all my practicing with Universal. The door to door service was great and they really get you comfortable behind the wheel during your 2 hour lessons. While all the instructors were wonderful, Maria was my favorite. She gave me my first and last lesson and drove me to my road test. In all, I took 8 lessons with Universal over 3 months and passed my road test on the first try. Thank you Maria and Universal. This licence was more important than most and you didnt let me fail.

I started learning how to drive as an adult. I never needed to know how to drive, but I decided that I need to become a good driver to always have the option of getting to where I need to get by driving. Based on the reviews, I chose to go to Universal driving school. I was introduced to Gina, who was my instructor for my 4 lessons and was the one who took me to the road test area. She was very patient with me, giving me positive and negative feedback that helped me learn how to be a safe driver. The team at the office is very accommodating, in terms of scheduling, if you give them enough notice. I would recommend this place to all my friends and family who live nearby.

Love love love this place. Maria was my first driving instructor and was very helpful. She noticed that I was very nervous and calmed me down and told me not to worry. She even showed me pictures of her daughter’s gender reveal party. My last instructor for my last two lessons was Gloria, I think? I forgot her name. But she was amazing too!! Helped me out so much and helped me park. Honestly would recommend to anyone! Extremely great school. I passed my road test on the first try! The instructors are patient, calm, and truly make you feel comfortable behind the wheel. I did my six hours in two sessions and even though it was long, I enjoyed every minute of it. There were no complaints my whole time with Universal. They are the best option financially and in terms of teaching you how to drive!
