I have a two-year-old daughter who is going there for a couple months and every single day we come to pick her up there was an incident report of my child being hurt or bitten by another child The daycare didn’t wanna do anything about it so I kept my child home for for one day and try to take her back the following Monday they told me she wasn’t allowed to come back. My child was underneath their care and I thought I could trust them and I could not when my child was bitten the face by another child that was the last straw

My kids have been enrolled in both the before and after school, transportation, and summer programs at the main center on Uintah and overall the experience has been pretty good. There are definitely some communication issues the staff need to work out but all in all, my kids havent had any real complaints of bullying or any other issues. Some of the other kids can be rowdy and destructive, one kid broke my gift from my son by smashing it on the ground, but a staff member fixed it. I recognize this behavior is not the fault of the staff. The updates they are doing to the building interior and exterior seem to be coming along nicely. Theyve also been willing to work with me on payments every week, which I am extremely grateful for.

This was the fastest alternative at a desperate time. My child since then has been suspended a total of 2 times before I removed him myself. They do not have the resources to deal with Normal stages in a childs development. My child is 2 and has been suspended! He doesnt even understand. Ive taken any and all precautions I can as a Parent before giving up on this place because theyre focus is not for the well-being of him but for their center. My child has also sustained a number of injuries in their care. The only reports on that is those against him and no other party. In my opinion and the whole reason for my review is I feel as the parent I was let down and that means my child as well. We will Not be returning.

Cheapest before and after care in the Springs, but dangerous! I enrolled my 7 year old for before and after school care, but then took him out just a week later!! I refused to put a two week notice in... when i arrive to pick up my son, i have to walk ALL over the building (inside and out) to find him because no one could tell me where he is... teachers yelling at little kids on the playground... place is dirty... they lied about the great snacks and milk they provide... my son was bullied here with no one trying to stop it. The worst part is they do not even check IDs when someone else comes to pick up the child. Also, the transportation made my son late to school twice in that one week. Very bad... should be shut down...

We have had our children in many child care places in Colorado springs, I wish they had started here. Springs of life has become part of our family, our children have called it there best school ever. The staff here are not only friendly but they actually care about your children. I have expressed concerns that were actually met with understanding. Our family loves Springs of Life and would recommend them to anyone.

My children have been going here for a little over a year and at first I had some issues with the staff to be honest. Over the course of Id say 6-8 months a lot of the staff has been replaced and I feel a lot more comfortable when it comes to the care of my children. They are on top of things when it comes to getting my kids to and from school on time and safely as well as providing after school snack! (Even tho as soon as I get my kids in the car they ask if they can have a snack when they get home lol) They are always planning daytime field trips for when there is no school/the weather permits it. Overall my time here has been nothing but pleasurable, Im able to come to any member of the staff if I have any questions/concerns about the well being of my kiddos and not have to worry about going back and forth between people. Definitely a place I will continue to bring my children.

If I could give 0 stars I would. My daughter went there 5 days. Every day there was something, she was being pinched, kicked or punched. The last day was when I got a call at the end of the day, while I was on my way to get her anyway, that she was complaining of a headache and crying. When we got there, they didnt know where she was my husband found her downstairs laying on the floor, alone and glowing red burning up. She had heat exhaustion/sun poisoning. They had left her outside with no sun protection. How nice of them to leave a 6 yr old alone while they are very sick. Had to take her to the er with a temp of 104 and all the while they never applied sunscreen to her, for which I paid them to do, and left her alone and unsupervised. She could have easily slipped into a coma with that high fever and nobody would have ever known. They are negligent and I would never ever want someone else to have to go through this experience. Please do not send your children to this place...you will regret it immediately.

If I could give this day care 1 star I absolutely would. They told us to start our daughter off with 1 unopened can of sunscreen (spray). The first day we went, our daughter came home with NO MORE sunscreen. We sent a second one with her on day 2. Same result. No sunscreen.... Day 3, same result. We asked them on day 2 what was going on and they said they had no idea, that the kids spray themselves. That raised a red flag. Why do the kids spray themselves???? Our daughter is 7 and while shes capable of self care what if she didnt spray where she needed to and came home with bad sunburn? On day 4 we sent with her the fourth can of unopened sunblock. And same freaking result! But now the truth comes out. Apparently our daughter is going around with the sunscreen and spraying everything. Ok, so its her fault the sunblock is gone, but why didnt they stop her???? We had already complained that we had to supply the sunscreen continuously anyway.Another red flag with them not stopping our daughter from spraying the sunscreen.Red flag number two. Husband went the first day to pick up our daughter. Shes over in a corner with another kid pouring glue into another cup with some more sunscreen. And other kids were running around unsupervised. The ONLY person in that room was the person checking everyone out. I guess at a certain time the rest of the people go home and leave a bunch of kids with just one person. Awesome.Another day daughter was picked up, a kid was flinging her around the room by the neck and shoulders. The kids were once again unsupervised. NOT COOL. When something was said, my husband was told that our daughter does the same thing (flinging kids around). Well, again... why dont you stop that activity????There is absolutely no structure whatsoever. The kids are left unsupervised for however long in the afternoon so that one person (the only person) can check kids out to their parents. The center has also misplaced a pair of tennis shoes (which were found the next day somehow) and an entire outfit. Obviously this tells me there is no organization. We took our daughter there for about 2 weeks and it was the worst two weeks ever. The ONLY reason we kept her there for even that long was because we were looking for another place to take her. Please do not put your child in this day care

Terrible daycare with poor Leadership. I caution anyone considering enrolling their children here.My 7 year old was forced to urinate on herself multiple times because they didnt have the staff to take her to the restroom. They offer bathroom break times as a group and expect these young children to go at that time only. When we brought the issue up for a few weeks afterwards every day the director would have a comment to make and somehow made it the childs fault. Most recently my daughters arm sustained an injury at the school which we were NOT notified of and picked her up took her straight to the ER. In the 6 days following, she has received 4-5 write-ups that were not warranted (she has only had 1 or 2 over the entire 7 months she has attended prior). She was tapping her hands on table making a horse gallop noise and the director said that was a hand game which they no longer allow hand games since her arm was injured. She was tracing and tapping her hands on the wall saying a song that was called a hand game. The Director is immature and taking every hand gesture she is doing and calling it a hand game and punishing her for it - essentially bullying her since we made an issue of her arm Injury. She has had to sit out field trip for simply tapping on a table. As of Friday, they suspended all of my children indefinitely after I threatened to make a state complaint if they continue to bully my little girl because of their fail.My infant always being left in a bouncer so much so that her head is now misshaped and she is requiring a helmet. No matter the day or time, she is always in the bouncer when we pick her up often times asleep. She was sick for a few weeks requiring oxygen and her head shape improved while at home per our pediatrician but mysteriously got worse again when she returned to daycare. The pediatrician called me and stated her and the therapy team we have believe my infant is being neglected there and given the shape of her head and how quickly it got bad again they believe she is being left to lay the entire time she is there. The director was offended when we inquired with her and brought up the pediatrician concerns to have them addressed.I have gone into the school and numerous times witnessed children hitting other children, kids climbing on the tables standing on them having zero direction. They completely disregard and dont follow several state regulations which I have outlined to them. Their preschool is a joke; there is very minimal education going on and sadly these kids are in no way going to be Kindergarten ready. Please please use caution when considering this daycare as an option. In my opinion they should be shut down or at minimum the current Leadership/Director needs replaced because she is ultimately the problem and the reason this center is in such disarray.****Your childish response further even substantiates what I am saying. I never said her arm was broken in this review; it was bruised swollen and has soft tissue damage per the pediatrician. Her dad thought it was broken which he had every reason to suspect given how it looked and her complaining of it hurting. THE FACT IS YOU ALLOWED MY CHILD TO GET HIT BY ANOTHER CHILD, LET HER SIT WITH THE INJURY ALL DAY WITHOUT CALLING ME AND LIED AND SAID SHE DIDNT SAY ANYTHING!!!!! Why would someone being concerned that their childs arm is broke when it was clearly swollen and bruised and looked to be hyperextending mean they have mental issues???!!! MY PEDIATRICIAN CALLED ME TO SPECIFICALLY SAY HER AND AN OUTSIDE THERAPIST BELIEVED YOUR DAYCARE IS NEGLECTING MY INFANT but her dad is mentally unstable because he comes to pick our other daughter up and her ARM IS CLEARLY INJURED. Take some accountability and ownership and stop blaming everyone except the person who should take accountability--Your Director!!!!What about allowing my daughter to piss on herself multiple times REFUSING HER THE RESTROOM and then trying to justify it????

My children attended Springs of Life Childrens Center for a couple of years. Through those years we had several situations that were cause for concern. I worked closely with the staff and directors to ensure that any and all problems with the care my kids were receiving would be addressed and fixed. Rather than that being the resolution I received excuse after excuse time and time again. I could go on and on about the nightmare of a roller coaster my experience has been with this center but rather than going through all of the details I strongly encourage anyone considering care here to first check their state record.

I tried to send my son here for summer camp. We made it to the third day before taking him out of the program. Everyday was a new issue that wasn’t addressed by the camp staff bc β€œthey didn’t see it”. I’m pretty sure their job is to watch the children all day but there’s a lot they don’t see. If you’re ok with your child being around children who cuss, make lewd gestures, and steal/break things then you are in the right spot. If that’s not your scene then this isn’t the place for you. I was new to the area when my son’s school sent home the flier for this place and it didn’t mention that it was a church. No problem but the fact they let these children act like this at a church camp is not ok. I wasn’t too impressed with the staff and unsure if they’re even trained in all the basics like CPR and first aid. This place is a big no for me.

Taking my daughter and son to this daycare was by far the worst experience. Me as a mother is supposed to feel reassured that my kids are being taken care of and that was by far the experience I had. I dropped my kids off and not even two hours later they called asking if I was bringing them to daycare. Thats absolutely not what I want to hear from someone that is supposed to be watching my kids and when I asked about it it was simply shrugged off and laughed about by the director. I also walk into see my son sitting in the high chair with poop all over him and using some other babies bottle. The directors are completely unprofessional and wanted to bring up state regulations but could never provide me with the rules or regulations. Absolutely the worst experience.

They have all these rules that dont make very much sense. The facility tries to find everything to complain about. School age children are out of control. The facility has so many children that misbehaves that it affects the other children yet they allow them to continue attending there. I assume they thought they could run over me without me saying anything well that didnt happen now my children can no longer attend there. I am disappointed that I wasted my time enrolling my children at this facility and Im not going to let it rest until there out of business.

I had my little guy in toddler group for a month. They originally told me that he could get in on the day I needed... then I went down and visited and signed (what I thought to be all the paperwork.) Then I got notified I had to do a formal orientation which was disappointing as I was just there and I lived over an hour away (I was moving). Scheduled the orientation and drove down and then the person doing my orientation was out driving the bus so I had a fill in... which was OK but not as kind as the lady on the phone. Then they called in a frantic saying they couldnt get him in the day i needed (a week in advance) which majorly stressed me out... however i ended up getting in on time and ok. In daycare, there were multiple times I was standing outside for someone to let me on because their key fob was broken. The staff in my sons room were nice but I feel as they lacked engagement with the children as everytime i visited all the kids were just being and appeared bored. They also requested things that werent listed on the bring you school packet and then denied other things that were (I brought in unopened hygiene items as requested.) Ive moved my son to a new daycare that does arts and crafts and he literally smiles to go in vs. the screams I got at the first daycare. Im greatful things worked out to get him in as I desperately needed daycare but I wouldnt really recommend to anyone to go there unless absolutely needed. I feel as if they will keep your kid alive but thats it. The back play area was unclean compared to other daycares in the area. I hope they take this review seriously and improve some of their services as I hate giving a bad review for easy fixes. Just a lot of small things.

My son had been going to Springs of Life for 3 years. The staff use to be great until this year. The third day of school they forgot to pick up my child & then they were late multiple times dropping him off to school. Today was the last straw, when they stated my son supposedly told them he was not to get on the bus because I was picking him up. At this point I was furious, when I went to the daycare to get him, and he was not there. The driver told me he had tried calling me multiple times, when I responded with I work for a living I cant answer youre call immediately. The child of a director they now have, stated I was being disrespectful and that I need to be available at all times, that they were doing me a favor. I then stated he was not doing me a favor I pay for care on time & my payments are made well in advance. I then proceeded to walk off, to prevent any further confrontation with this child. He then yelled if I walk away this is my last day of care, which was unprofessional & juvenile. Which I had no problem accepting his threat, and agreed..You would think after being loyal, & paying in advance, they would be more empathetic & apologetic. Instead of deescalating the situation the director escalated it, which is expected of a child who has no idea how to deal with the public. Especially when youre not the only daycare in town. Please do not let your child go to this center, all of their staff except Hannah in the transportation department, are inexperienced, rude and very disrespectful, especially when your paying their salaries!!!! They will dismiss your concerns, & then when they mess up will blame you!
