Very professional and outstanding driver training. Granddaughter took driving course, then pre- driving test “check ride” and finally state driving test (and passed!). Everyone we dealt with was extremely professional in every way. Highly recommend Academy School of Driving!!

Great experiences with all of my kids, from the instruction hours and permit test, to the driving hours, to the actual test. Really made it enjoyable for my kids and put them at ease!

Trying to communicate with anyone from this school is always so difficult. You call and leve emails yet you do not get a reply or response.My son took the online drivers Ed classroom due to Covid. It took us weeks to get an appointment to take the written part of the drivers Ed. We ended up booking the written test online. Then received an email saying it had been canceled and we would have to reschedule. Once we were able to actually speak to someone to get scheduled the person who was in charge of setting up the test was 20 minutes late even getting to the office to give the test. We were told that they were running errands that that we had to wait for loose the test spot that would not be be rescheduled.Communication would be a great thing to have especially for a company that teaches driving.

Being a student myself in the in-person classroom was a real experience. I had so so SO much fun and all the kids around me seemed to have a blast too. Mr. T the instructor has everything down, knows his stuff, and has so much experience in teaching the skills. He tells you everything you need to know and what to expect while also making it fun. It’s not your average classroom settings. Lots of interactions to do and activities so you can get to know the rules, and what to expect while driving. My class laughed hard. And the hardest I’ve laughed in a while. Today I passed my written test, and did perfectly fine. And you will too. This class doesn’t miss anything I’m telling you. Yes, it is fast paced, but your brain is smart enough to take in all the information. You will not get yelled at, they are patient and want to make us good drivers. They know that yelling is not the way to teach, bc then we will never learn. Im comfortable in the classroom, and having a blast.

The classroom portion of this driving school is so amazkng, I was nervous going into it thinking it would just be notes and videos, but it was a lot more then this. Mr.T made the class very informational while making it very enjoyable. I would 10/10 recommend going here to learn how to drive.

I went here back in 2017. It was my first time ever being taught how to drive in a driving school. The classroom instruction was fine, but the on the road lessons were awful. I paid $475.00 to be yelled at and do loops in parking lots. I was taught nothing that would benefit me while doing the skills portion and was not refunded my money when I asked for it back. Instead, I received a very plastic sales pitch to come in and do my last lesson. I still am nervous to be on the road, but I have learned more from my friend who is not a teacher, than from these people. I would not recommend it at all.

This place is fantastic! Ive dealt mostly with Matt, but everyone I have ever spoken to there is always very nice and give superb customer service! Everyone is very knowledgeable about all aspects of the process of getting a permit all the way through getting your childs license. They are so kind, understanding and patient. They have literally walked me through every step along the way. My daughter has also enjoyed her driving lessons with them and has always felt comfortable with anyone who was her drive instructor. I highly recommend Matt and his team at Academy School of Driving!

The instructor I felt graded unfairly. The road conditions were icy and the instructor didnt take that in consideration. I just threw 60 bucks out the window! She said dont get me wrong, you did real good, so why did you flunk me ?

On January 25th, my son was scheduled to take his driving test with Academy School of Driving at 1pm with a follow-up appointment at the DMV to get his license at 2:20. When we arrived at Academy for testing, the site was closed and there was a message posted that all driving tests were cancelled due to icy conditions. We contacted Matt the owner and told him we had not received any information about the testing being cancelled (at the time we didnt realize that my wife had received the notices but never saw them because she has no access to her phone while at work). Matt apologized and surprisingly offered to perform the test despite the conditions with the understanding that sliding on icy roads can result in failure. He then drove over from the main office to the testing site and administered the driving test. Matt was very professional about the whole situation and I felt he went above and beyond to ensure we were not inconvenienced. I highly recommend the Academy School of Driving to anyone in need of drivers training. Their staff is friendly, professional, and as demonstrated by this experience, willing to go the extra mile to ensure their customers receive the best possible service. They got the job done and my daughter passed her test, but I cannot remember being in a place that was less friendly or welcoming.

They were great with working with people who have anxiety. Both of my children went thru this program and I would encourage others to contact them.

The owner and training staff for the actual driving academy training were excellent.As for the driver’s road test, the examiner lacks not only customer service skills (professionalism), but sensitivity regarding the COVID-19 pandemic. I backed out of the scheduled appointment first from the “What’s up?” greeting we received as we walked in followed by my observation of the examiner not wearing a mask as he got in to another car testing someone. Nope, I’d rather pay the extra $10 at another business than to risk my daughter’s (and my family’s) health.Truthfully, if it wasn’t for that they would’ve received a higher rating from me.

Great course, learned so much from Mr T and I officially passed my test. Everyone else in my class did too.

I took my driving class here and it was super fun. All of the activities were fun to do and mr. T also helped us learn a lot. I ended up passing my test and get very prepared when he helped us review beforehand!

Mr. T and entire “driving team” are amazing! They’ve made learning how to drive fun and enjoyable for our son. We have no doubt he will be a great driver when he gets his license. They are professional, friendly, and thorough. We highly recommend them! They are a true blessing.

Drive instructor was very rude and refused to tell me what I messed up in my driving test. Told me to come back again so I could spend another $60 on a test.

Really helpful in the learning process. Makes everything easier and almost anyone can pick it up quickly.

Both of our kids did their school and testing through this group. 2 1/2 years apart from each other and both times Matt and the staff here were awesome. Both kids passed their driving test the first time. Highly recommend this school!

Mr.T is an amazing teacher, I loved his class and I really like how hands on his class is. He helps you with what you need and is very willing to help you pass. Great class would highly recommend it.

Matt is hilarious! My Mom and I enjoyed the entire process. They recommended an out of town DMV to get the permit, so we went to Pueblo-in & out less than 15 min. The class videos were life changing. Dan is a great instructor. They worked with me to get all the experience and extra help I needed.

We have sent 2 children through Academy School of Driving and have been very satisfied. Our son attended 2 years ago and our daughter is currently attending. When our son was doing the behind the wheel hours, I procrastinated and didn’t schedule until the last minute. Matt was extremely accommodating in scheduling our 6 hours behind the wheel and even came in on his day off (while he had family in town for his son’s graduation) to do the driving test on my son’s birthday. My daughter who is currently in the class has been telling me Matt is so much fun and yet I know she is learning because she has been spouting off driving laws and safety tips to me all week long.

These guys are great! My first child went to another school that scared her from driving. At Academy School of Drive, Matt and the gang were kind and VERY patient! My child was afraid to drive in town and he took her on a one-on-one drive to make sure she was comfortable. She is a great driver and I am grateful to Academy School of Drive and Matt for their help!

My two sons have gone through this program and they thought it was taught well and the instructors made it fun and less stressful. As a parent, there is great value for so much offered. Mr. T also schedules the appointments so you wont have to wait long at the DMV.

I was a student here and the class is really good all the students in my class passed the permit test and you learn some really good skills that you may not learn at home

I, originally, wrote a very scathing review of what I thought was this school. It was totally wrong, and I had my locations mixed up. The owner, very delicately, reached out to me to tell me I had given the review to the wrong location, and that her driving school was not, in fact, the one I was reviewing. I looked it up, and she was absolutely right.She was a very kind person, who, even when dealing with an angry customer, didnt ever mistreat me. It takes a special kind of person to tell you that youre wrong in a non-condescending manner, and the owner is one of those people. This place is worthy of your business, and Id have no trouble taking my driving test there if it was still necessary.

We are a homeschool family with 5 kids. We used to live in the Rockrimmon area and our daughter and our neighbors son took the class together, so carpooling was a plus. She took the course during Spring Break week to get in done in one fell swoop.Mr. T and Rudy were both FANTASTIC instructors. Mr. T did the classroom and Rudy was my daughters (and another students) city driving instructor. As a mom, I loved that they had the closed driving course with the created skid in sand for the kids to learn on. Simulation is the best preparation for a real-life scare in a vehicle.I would recommend this Drivers Ed. company to any and all teens learning to drive!!!

I was so nervous and scared when the idea of driving came. I prosponed almost a year before I finally started to work. Now that I have completed the corse, I no longer feel that way. I feel well prepared and comfortable with the idea of driving. I learned so much and am much more confident in my abilities. The teachers are fantastic, and make it easy to learn what you need to. It was a great experience, and recomend to anyone who is about to get their permits or needs the class hours.

Academy School of Driving is the best driving school in Colorado. Both of my children attended this driving school and were taught not only classroom material and driving skills, but also learned practical and defensive driving skills while out on the road with their instructors. I learned a few driving tips from my children after they had been out driving with the driving school. They worked with our incredibly busy school and sport schedules. I would recommend this driving school to anyone who only wants the best for their children.

The test is supposed to be 45 dollars, when I got there and paid with my DEBIT CARD I was informed that there was a 2.50 fee to use a card for the test, which I have since learned is illegal in Colorado. I reported them to the States Attorney Generals office. They are dishonest, and rude, and the guy who I tested with was a jerk. Same yourself the headache and test at one of the other two places in the parking lot.

Rude, obnoxious employees who promised a timely test, but sure didnt deliver it. Wouldnt recommend to ANYONE.
