It is like going to school in a prison. Once you go into the lunch room, you can not leave for any reason. You also cannot spend lunch time in the library or computer labs to work on homework. Visitors are not allowed apparently. My friends go here and I am not allowed to eat lunch with them, even though I went to school there for three years. Cant use the bathroom during class or lunch, no exceptions. Even if you have a bathroom pass they will question your whereabouts. A faculty member is always wondering the halls like a correctional officer. Even if you are 18 you cant leave campus for any reason without parents consent. Pine Creek High School will most likely be one of those schools that gets metal detectors for entry of the school because they are incapable of figuring things out themselves. The security guards are pretty much useless. They sit and watch security cameras all day and direct traffic in the morning, and that is it. The teachers are great if you can handle the work load and prison style environment.

Very good administrative staff, football team is top notch, coaches are a bit confident in the greatness of their program they have put together BUT they continue to beat the competition.Education is a top notch experience and everyone comes across as supportitive in educating your student. Tutoring could be a bit better but it is public education.

Great school - academically rigorous and very successful in grad rate and college acceptance. Sports programs are great, although overly competitive. Selection of classes are limited in some areas (e.g. Spanish only available). Most teachers are great and knowledgeable. Special thanks to Mr Jeff Back, DECA teacher - free learning environment lead state championships.

I dont really know what these other reviews are about, but I graduated nearly 10 years ago from here. This is one of the few schools in the country that offered the Oracle Internet Academy. If you were into tech like I was you could also take several years of programming, get your A+ Certification, your CCNA certification, play with robotics and of course the core stuff you need to learn. When I left for university I was way ahead of my peers. The only negative thing I can say is that the core math program did not set me up well for Calculus.

Heard the admin was recently banning group prayer sessions that the students put together during THEIR freetime?! Wow! This is America and they have freedom of speech. Especially during their public freetime. I’m sure it’s okay for the kids to run around cursing and talking about inappropriate things but God forbid they ever pray. Y’all disgust me, get a life.

The class selection and teachers are pretty good. The athletics are a joke other than the football team which is really the only thing the schools got to brag about (but not so much after that playoff loss to loveland...) All of the other sports are so fundamentally terrible and clique based its laughable. Ever since they got rid of seminar (kind of like homeroom) its been impossible for clubs to meet, so if you want friends and you arent cool or good looking then youre screwed. The staff is way too lenient as far as bullying, they like to point fingers at the victims and go all hush hush about crap so that they dont get bad publicity or whatever. Yep.

Too much home work! It’s around the clock. Good school with caring staff.

I currently attend this school and love it. The tech program is great, they are working toward every student having an iPad, and there is something for everyone. The whole religion debacle was the fault of a single man (the vice principal who was acting principal during the principals surgery), and he faced harsh consequences. It was not the whole schools act.

A shameful school not to be attended or supported! Will not allow individual prayer at any time, any where on premises!! But they probably allow pot smoking and other damaging activities! Pot is legal but prayer is not?? This is an OUTRAGE!! Politically correct? NO! Anti-American? YES!!Yet another example of where this country is headed...moral corruption and freedoms repressed and taken away!!
