We’ve loved our experience with Tiger Rock East Springs. The Sheppard Family has been wonderful and our Tiger Cub has grown tremendously both physical and mentally. We have known the Tucks for going on 13 years. Our teenager started when he was 5 years old and achieved his black belt. My daughter and I have been training at the East Springs location for almost a year and have been very happy with our success. We trained under the Nollers (wonderful family) through our green belts and I had decided to take a break, my daughter continued. About a month ago the ownership changed and in my options this has been for the better. Watching my daughter train under the Shepherds has been eye opening. She has become more confident it her training and overall very excited to attend class. The Shepherds are very organized and also know how to have fun! I really appreciate their dedication to the school and to the students. I would highly suggest joining this school!

Although I have not been a student of the Tucks, I can attest to their character and devotion to Tiger Rock and its teachings. We absolutely love it here. Dan and Shawna are excellent people and truly care for all of their families. My husband is still recovering from a foot injury which resulted in the need for surgery, and they went above and beyond in their support for our family. I recommend Tiger Rock to all of my friends, and have had some of them join.

Top Notch TKD training. We have been training along side the owners of this academy for several years. They are great with kids and adults. The entire Tiger Rock community is like a big family. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a fun filled sport where they can get in shape, learn self defense skills, and practice self discipline.

Mr and Mrs Tuck are great examples of dedication and respect. Their program for children as well as adults is by far the best. I wish I knew a lot sooner how the owners truly are. My children were instructed under great instructors (not the owners) until those instructors were wrongfully fired. I thought the owners were nice people but after putting the pieces together, it is true they are only about money. My older children were being passed during testing when I admit they shouldnt have been, because if you dont pass, then you dont pay for the next testing until you do pass. The Tucks were passing students or making sure they signed up for testing even if they werent ready, simply to get the money.I have learned from recent events that they are NOT compassionate or good people at all, they dont care as much as they claim. When our beloved instructors were fired for improper reasons (the reasons they gave were not true), well theres a good reason a ton of instructors and students left as well and its not because they were told to.I want a school that actually teaches my children, helps them when they need help and makes sure they progress as they should in their skills. I would like a school that is a bit more strict when it comes to testing, basing passing on their actual skills and not money. Luckily we found that somewhere else since this school did not provide well enough.Hopefully they stop having negative, yet truthful reviews removed to make themselves look better than they are.

I absolutely love this place. I always look forward to being here. The school has a lot to offer, and the owners and employees are all really nice people. They always do whatever they can to meet everyones needs and goals. Everyone here is very loving and encouraging towards others.

The new owners Dan and Shawna continue the family atmosphere that has always been a staple of the East Springs school. My family has trained along side the Shepherd family for over 2 1/2 years and have nothing but the upmost respect for them and know they want the best for everyone that trains with them or competes against them in the ring. Great Taekwondo training to take you from beginner to Black Belt! Classes for adults and children, variety of class times. The school is clean and well appointed with necessary equipment. Instructors are professional, kind and keep you working hard for your martial arts and self defense goals. Ive been Mr. Tucks Taekwondo Instructor for over 20 years. He worked for me In Texas before opening his academies in Colorado. During the time he worked for me, I heard many positives from the students(including my own children) and parents training at my location. The only complaints I ever heard were from people who asked him to compromise his integrity, (dont try it :-))This Integrity is the number one reason for the success of his programs in the Colorado Springs area.Mr. and Mrs.Tuck are two of the best Instructors/students I have ever had the pleasure of training with. I would highly recommend any of their locations to anyone in the area!

Master Aaron Tuck and Mrs. Tuck are amazing instructors! Our kids love class and the time there is well spent! We drive 25 min to get to this gym and do it because of the Tucks dedication and enthusiasm! Highly recommend this gym!

Up until a week ago we loved it here, but that was with owners that actually cared about their clients...I have watched everyone go from being happy and enthusiastic to bored and depressed, there is no family feeling anymore and it is now beyond uncomfortable to even be there....the Nollers cared and now thats gone, as far as Im concerned this was a big mistake and Im sure theyre going to lose many many clients. (Have to add that my grandson never felt comfortable with Tuck, he felt Tuck didnt like him, this is pretty sad coming from a child...)I just thought I would add that the issues were not with the new owners and or instructors it was the terrible treatment of the previous instructors by the higher ups and the pure lack of interest in how clients might feel with their in my opinion very poor decision to dispose of the instructors we all came to know and trust with our children or grandchildren.

I used to love going to the school to learn to be a part of a family an most importantly to defend myself.The Nollers helped me be a better person and to understand the meaning of self defense and showed me confidence with in me. Now that Master Tuck is seeing what he has built was supposed to be for students to learn self defense and his instructors to learn and teach and be part of a family. Master Tuck has never put his Tiger Rock family first it was about the money from the very beginning. He was blinded by selfishness and greed.

My daughter loves training at this school. She never wants to miss a class. It has been a real joy to watch her confidence grow and her skills improve. The instructors really put their heart into their classes.

This is a great facility. I have known the new owners and trained with them long before they ever bought the school. They are good people. The dojo is open so please before you judge, stop by, spar a round or two before you decide if this is for you.

I started TKD with the Tucks after my mom did a lot of research for not only great instruction but also great owners/instructors. I have learning focus and ADD issues and I needed to find an activity to help with them. Master and Mrs. Tuck were patient to help me learn. I earned my black belt over 3 1/2 years only because they helped me to stay on track with my goals and not give up. Their help in TKD helped me with school work too. They didn’t just see me as another student but a person and showed they cared every class!

Tiger Rock is the most professional and knowledgeable academy you will find. Mr. Shepard is top notch.

We are a member of the North Springs TR, but my daughters get free use of the facility. We dont go there often, but when we do we are treated like it is our school. Instructors are awesome and work with the kids until they learn what they are be taught. Great facility, highly recommended!

This martial art studio is so unprofessional. The Noller’s cared for every single humans feelings. They are such loving people. Certain people treat them like total garbage and NEVER gave them credit for anything. The Noller’s worked their butt off to crest something amazing. They put family first. And made us feel a family. They never once just cared about the money. But others all they see is dollar signs. All they care about is the money. I do not recommend here, or you will get treated like garbage. 😘

My sister absolutely loves training at this school. she recently picked up leadership and XP. She trains on average 7-10 hours a week. I love seeing her strive though it.

I took my son to Tiger Rock (he is 3 1/2) to see if it was something he would be interested in. The staff was very courteous, welcoming and patient with him and I was very impressed with the friendly atmosphere.

I have trained with the owners of this academy for years. They are not only excellent martial artists, but people of integrity who strive to live the tenets of Tae Kwon Do, both on and off the mat.

Not a good place, the one off powers anyway.They are just about money it seems. The instructors have bad attitudes and act as if they hate what they are doing with the tiger Cubs. They make the teenagers teach the little kids basically all the time. The instructors sit on there butt drinking pop while they make there kids teach the class.

Ive trained with the current owners and the Tucks who own the North school and they are all awesome and inspiring.

Whenever we are in the Springs we take the kids to the Tiger Rock Schools, because the instructors and owners welcome TR students from around the country to fully participate in classes. Everyone is so nice and professional.

Ive known the Tucks for 7 years now and I highly recommend kids and adults to come to this TKD center! I called around a good bit to find the best instruction for my then 2nd grader to help him be active and to help him focus better in school. Getting the best instruction was really important, but I also couldnt afford the many high monthly fees of many studios I called. Springs TKD has been the best of a personal small business, GREAT instruction and value! My son earned his black belt and the discipline learned in TKD helped him to focus in home and school. I highly recommend giving yourself or your kids the opportunity to be part of a great TKD center!

I have so much respect for Master Tuck, and his dedicated team of instructors. They have changed my life in ways most will never understand.
