My children have been here for the past 2 years, and I cant say enough wonderful things! The director, Diana, and assistant director, Jonette, are amazing with the children (and the parents) and the teachers are the best! My kids come home every day full of stories and excitement, and happy each morning to go to school. They are safe, nurtured, and challenged every day. We are so lucky to have found this fantastic school and to be a part of their wonderful community.

We found this center to be very difficult to work with administratively and felt like they were more focused on profit than anything else. We decided not to stay when we learned of the incident last year where a toddler left unnoticed, and walked out into a crowded street ( I’m told they have new doors but still don’t feel comfortable). I’m sure there are kind and caring teachers but the company itself didn’t make us feel confident.

My son started here in June and I have been so happy with their infant program! When I drop him off everyday he always is so happy to see his teachers!

I regret sending my son to this center deeply! He got 7 incident reports in 3.5 months including biting, bad scratches, bleeding mouth.... There is still permanent scars on his cheek from other kids scratches! For the last month he was at that center, he got bites from other kids on every week basis and I am talking about bad biting. We had very serious talks to the director and teacher and they both assured us the harsh incidents wont happen again. But the reality is the biting was repeated again and again, never stopped. It broke my heart to see my little boy come home with all these marks. We eventually had to withdraw him from this center to avoid endless injury! Very bad experience! I definitely wouldnt recommend this daycare to any parents, period.

My son was only there for one year and I am extremely satisfied with the experience.

I dont know what other childcare facilities are like, but I think its a compliment to Columbia Academy that Im not interested in finding out.

From infant to preschool, this school does a great job of caring for and loving your child. After 3 years, we have to move away and I think this is what I am most sad about, leaving this school.
