My instructor David was great! He is really cool and made our lesson extremely fun. He gave me way more confident while I was driving, I overall really had a great time.

We have had two teenagers go through the barbers program and I have been pleased with the entire process. From the administrative side they are thorough and good communicators. Our driving instructor, David, has been excellent with both of my teens. They enjoyed the many hours in the car with him and have become better safer drivers. I highly recommend barbers.

Yesterday I took my behind the wheel training and Keith was awesome! Keith made me feel extremely comfortable and less nervous as soon as we got into the car. Keith made sure I practiced everything I needed practice on until I perfected it. Customer service was outstanding as well. Almost impossible to find customer service like this place anymore.

When starting with Barber’s Driving School over a month ago, I was terrified of the idea of being behind the wheel. My BTW instructor was David and he showed me all the things I needed to know about driving. He helped me to get over my fears and after just one session, I was 10 times better than before. Today I took my final road test with Kevin and I passed. I just want to thank the two of them for helping me to get over my fear and become a better driver. And thanks to everyone at Barber’s Driving School for being so good at what they do!I recommend the 6 hour BTW training to anyone that’s starting out!

Really great classes and instructors. I was very fortunate to have Mr.Kevin as my instructor, he really prepped me for my drivers exam. At first I was really nervous & scared about the classes, but he was very kind & humorous & always reassured me that it was just practice, that I had nothing to be worried about. He gave me really great driving tips & techniques that I will be using for the rest of my life, especially parallel parking, up & down hill parking. I definitely do recommend Barber’s, it’s a very excellent & well taught driving school.

My daughter truly enjoyed her driving instructor David. She said hes a very cool guy, and he made sure that she understood everything. Jane her classroom instructor was awesome as well. Very easy process to get signed up for the class you need. Completely wowed by the instructor Soon JA Love. Very knowledgeable and took every chance to use real world experience to convey the class content. Had a good experience in the zoom class and had a great teacher that was very informative and taught us a lot about road rules. Also my driving instructor, keith, was great in correcting my driving to help me become a better, safer driver. Amazing staff. Lexee was so informative from my 1st call to guiding us through the process with Barberss and beyond. She made sure I knew I needed to call the school to get documents so that saved me from having to reschedule with DDS. She was on top of her assignments by making sure we had signed the docs, scheduled all the steps and made this easy.Mr. Keith, MR. Keith, MR. KEITH, what a fantastic road instructor! He made my driver feel at ease and comfortable which made her focus be on the curriculum and experience instead of what she thought would be an awkward and weird time. I had Katelyn as my classroom instructor, she was a really sweet and nice lady, she made the class fun with Kahoot, cause the class was boring at times. Over the past few years of my adulthood, Ive developed driving anxiety after seeing everyone else around me driving while I felt as if I was getting left behind (Im 22). The goal I wanted to reach was simply getting comfortable driving around in Columbus and I was able to! My instructor Kevin was so comforting and reassured me about driving in ways no one else had before, and I will forever be grateful for that. He is a very understanding and relatable teacher. We drove everywhere around the city - in places that I will frequent in the future. I was definitely able to build confidence. I was nervous about this experience but it was worth every penny. I was definitely impressed with Barbers service from the time I came to the office. Very sweet pretty receptionist was so polite and informative on a lot of things I did not know. This was a big help. My daughter fell in love with Mrs. Jane with all the information she gave her and she loved how she didn’t just teach the class but shared many real life experiences which made the class really good . She said Mrs. Jane really cares about them. My daughter 6 hour driving time was good. She had Mr. Keith who I was very happy with cause on day one he arrive a couple minutes before time and the second day as well. I was very pleased with his Punctuality. That was a big plus for me. He was really friendly and detailed. My daughter felt very comfortable with him she was not nervous at all. She said it was more like driving with someone that you know but they are just teaching you. He helped her with things that I have not done or didn’t know. My instructor Keith was very experienced, professional, good communication and patient with me. I am transition from driving on the Left hand side of the road to the Right hand side and after driving for over 30 plus years its quit a challenge to make that switch. When I made an error he would calmly redirect me and explain what I did and always reminded me to check my speed. I must admit that I felt nervous since I know my driving was being critiqued but I know I will remember be very mindful while driving.

I had Donnie as an instructor, he was very professional and an all around great instructor. I was incredibly nervous to be driving for 3 hours straight and I have some slight social anxiety but Mr. Donnie made things very comfortable and easy for me. I wasnt stressed in the slightest and my 6 hours were lovely.

I took this course for character purposes in court relating to a case for an illegal u turn I had made on Macon rd. I can not express how much I enjoyed learning from the great instructor we had, Mrs. Love. Her last name really suits her because that’s all you feel upon entering her class. She was patient, kind, and understanding to us all. I learned things about traffic I did not know before. I also learned about the preventative measures I can take behind the wheel to ensure I get home safely to my loved ones. I will be taking this knowledge with me to the grave. New drivers, old drivers and in between, you’ll learn things you didn’t know before. Take the class! I highly recommend.

As a student the experience was amazing. Mrs. Jane really help with not only learning, but understanding the rules of the road. Also, Mr. Kevin is an excellent driving instructor. He was aggressive or rowdy like a parent would be. And he makes the experience feel like a casual drive and not a life or death situation, while also making sure you understand that if you don’t follow the rules of the road it can be a life or death situation.

This driving school is absolutely amazing, my in class teacher was the best and explained things well with real examples, and my driving instructor was also very amazing, Donnie explained things well and showed me the best ways to drive safe whilst being patient and professional.

I am 21 years old I have just received my license after taking a course at Barbers. I took 6 hours of on the road instruction with a defensive driving course.My defensive driving teacher was Mrs. Love and she was very helpful. She told personal stories about her experiences which helped me be more knowledgeable about driving. The course I took with her was both financially (since you get an insurance discount for taking a defensive driving course) and mentally beneficial.My instructor was David, who was extremely professional and helped me to overcome a lot of the anxieties I had about driving. If I were to take it again I would absolutely recommend David as he turned something Ive always had anxieties about, being in a few car crashes myself, into something manageable and enjoyable. I would definitely recommend him as a driving instructor for anyone.
