My 12 year old son has been taking both private and group lessons from Danny for about 6months. It has brought him much self confidence and awareness. It’s both fun, interactive and educational. I highly recommend this place no matter your fitness or skill level. Do something for yourself to be your best for others!

Dan knows how to engage younger students and beginners, while still challenging advanced students in the same classes. I’ve been practicing martial arts for two decades, and he is one of the few people I trust to teach traditional arts. Plus he is just a great guy!

Unify Mind and Body has provided me with fantastic self defense/martial arts (Nami Bujutsu) classes and individual personal training experiences. Created by program owner Dan Rotnem, Nami Butjutsu is a hybrid of martial arts techniques designed around real world situations and personal strengths based on his extensive martial arts background. In sessions, there is a sense of community, encouragement and support from classmates of all training and fitness levels. Everyone is trained at their own pace, ability and comfort level given the seriousness of some self defense situations and associated techniques. Meditation training is also incorporated into the practice to help you gain a greater focus throughout your training and into other aspects of your life. Dan is equally skilled providing personal training services. He is an excellent communicator, who works to understand your goals and to help you achieve them. Dan is knowledgeable and the training sessions are diverse. Strengths and weaknesses, both real and perceived, are recognized.
