The Miami-Jacobs Career College in Troy,OH - Serenity Spa is the most unprofessional place I have ever had to deal with. Due to their closing yesterday I drove to Troy for an appointment I made almost a week in advance only to have to find out they were closed and hadnt received a phone call or e-mail because according to them we hadnt printed off any clients contact information because we figured we would have school ... so because you assumed you would have school you inconvenience your clients and then tell them the best you can do is reschedule them? SO unprofessional and completely disrespectful to your clients. NOT going to be going back and I will make sure I make aware the others even considering it.

Only because I cant give negative stars. Teachers fired and hired everyday, which means new teachers everyday. Unorganized, had you studying one thing to be tested on another, loves taking your money to give you nothimg in return basically. Definitely understand why theyre closed

The director of admissions at this school is completely rude. He likes that he is scamming students, and expects his workers to be his blind flock. For profits usually are no good, and Miami Jacobs is no different. Please, just attend Columbus State. You will be so much better off!!

They advertised in print media that they had good CDL training. They Dont! The rep tried to get me to do one of the other programs. I really dont want to be a nurse.

I have been at Miami Jacobs for 2 different programs they offer. This school is a money hungry career college that makes no effort to help its students let alone take the time to make sure their financial aid is completed with the correct information. I was lucky to use my husbands GI Bill that he graciously earned serving his country, but when I tried to use it, the financial aid director completely screwed up my application which , (because I receive Monthly Housing Allowance) lose thousands of dollars and I was unable to pay for mortgage along with car payments. I received no help or apologies from the campus director or the the finacial director as well. I would NEVER recommend this school to anyone. If you want to get ripped off and receive no help, then I guess this is the school for you. Miami Jacobs is a terrible institution and should be shut down!!

I have been here for a year It started out great and everything seem to downfall right alone with the rest of these colleges. Very unprofessional and unexperierce teachers

I have been at Miami Jacobs for 2 years. I have to admit at the start of my first quarter the lady did mess up my financial aid, she was let go. I am a veteran using my GI Bill. What I learned after that experience is you have to be in constant contact with the Financial Aid office or mistakes might happen. I also look at my VA ebenefits and know the dates when they send the school money. As far as the school they do need more materials and I am sure they are working on it. Overall its not as bad as other schools. Im not a big fan of online schooling but if you got to do it you got to do it. Mrs Vanessa is one of the best Program directors at Miami Jacobs. She can help you with anything you need. Im graduating and about to be done. There may be challenges but dont let anything stop you from achieving your degree.
