This place is great. You have to put in the work but it leads you to find employment and gives you the tools to pass the NHA exams. Plus the teachers are awesome!

This place is amazing! The teachers are highly knowledgeable and make you feel like family from the moment you met them. I loved the transparency that not only the instructors offered, but the program itself. The program is book reading and hands on. The exams are not too difficult, yet will ensure that you wholeheartedly known the material. I was able to obtain both my state and national CMA certification thanks to this agency. Overall, if youre looking to earn the certifications being offered through First Step Health Agency, look no further. This is an awesome facility!

I would not recommend going here. Don’t even waste your money.... yes she’s a good teacher but you won’t find no work or clinicals through her. Take your money to actually technical school. She lies.

If youre interested in a different career path, the medical field, the name says it all. I stepped out on faith with First Step and I dont regret it. My instructor Mrs. Robinson is about her business. Its fast paced but you cant fail because she and all the instructors WILL NOT let you fail. Ive learned more than I thought I could. Great place to learn phlebotomy! I gained knowledge in my profession while having fun doing it. They will give you the information you need and you can tell they really enjoy teaching their students!

Recommend! First Step really helped me change my life. The instructors are fantastic. Ms. Sheila, Ms. Robinson, and Ms. Seldon are very knowledgeable. They will also help you however they can and want to see you succeed. The courses are accelerated so be prepared to move and learn quickly. Earn a chance to move forward with a clinical site. Payment options available, great work and study area, clean lab, great classroom instruction. This little school doesnt get enough recognition. So glad I found it!

Ms. Seldon is amazing! She makes everything fun and interesting. She does one on one training for people who are self conscious, like me, and it helped me a lot. Will definitely be taking more classes with her!!!

I just found out today that I PASSED my national certification exam for Phlebotomy, and it was because of First Step Health Agency. Mrs. Robinson, is a great instructor! Even during the COVID-19 pandemic, she didnt miss a beat. She will provide you with all the material/skills you will need as a Phlebotomist in 3 weeks. This the best place to get trained for phlebotomy and medical assistant I was driving over an hour & 30 for class and this school made my experience worth the drive ‼️I love this place 💜

10/10 Recommend. I recently finished the Medical Assisting program and it was the best decision. The administrators are great, knowledgeable and very caring! It is accelerated and they really help you get through it with all the information you need to know. They also make the information very real and understandable. If youre serious about a career in healthcare, register asap!

Its very fast paced but the instructors are incredible. The people who teach here really care about thier students and really go above and beyond. Theyve stayed late to help students and make sure they understood the content and try to prepare you with the full knowledge you need to succeed. The ladies who work here do a phenomenal job and I am very glad I took classes here. It is fast paced, you have to work for your grades but it is worth it because of the knowledge you attain, you will feel prepared when you look for a job.

Wonderful program! perfect for the working parent! Ms. Seldon is a wonderful teacher, and takes great pride in the instruction she provides.

I had a great experience with Mrs.Seldon she thoroughly explained everything and was very hands on. I learned so much in this class, plus other life skills. She left me feeling well prepared for my job as a medical assistant. I truly appreciated this class.

Today I learned that I passed my class! These woman are amazing teachers. They not only do everything they can to help you learn the material they go beyond. The instructor, Mrs. Robinson is amazing. She made sure we learn all the skills and knowledge we need for the job. Shes very particular on following safety standard precaution and infection control. Shes loud and vocal, but she has a big heart; she treats everyone of us as her own family.

Mrs.Seldon and MS.Jen has worked miracles with our class!!! These instructors are dedicated and very flexible with their students!!! One on one and very, very educated!!! Total role models and I honestly dont know what I would do if they didnt kick it in high gear!!! 5 stars aint enough!

I love the staff. My instructor Mrs. Robinson was a wonderful teacher and she got the class very prepared for the Nationals and the workforce. They are like family there. I would really recommend this place. I had a great experience and id do it all over again if i had to.

Im a CMA(AAMA) but I wanted to get my national certification for Phlebotomy, do I picked this place because it is accelerated program that is done in 3 weeks! For a fast paced course, ALL the instructors do their very best to ensure that you have a complete understanding of the material being taught. It’s up to you as a student to do your part so that you are successful and do well in the course.I am half way through the course and I feel as if I’ve learned more attending the Medical Assistant program than I did obtaining my associates degree online.The CPR / BLS instructor is absolutely amazing, she makes the instruction fun and easy to gather and absorb the information.

I absolutely loves this place! Mrs. Robinson is an amazing Phlebotomy teacher and makes the learning experience fun. You come in as strangers, but leave as family. I definitely recommend this facility to anyone wanting to be in the Phlebotomy field. Her partner that teaches the CMA program is very friendly and down to earth as well and seems like a very great teacher as well!
