I absolutely love this daycare. My twins go here and have gone for over a year now. I would recommend this daycare to everyone. The staff is super friendly and grow a bond with your children. They take pride in teaching your children. They helped out with potty training and are teaching the kids to write there numbers and letters. Anytime one of the kids get hurt they write an incident report out and I have even had them call me when one of the kids get hurt playing. I love this daycare and the staff is amazing I never worry about leaving my babies here.

I have worked at this daycare for over a year now. I enjoy working with the children and my fellow co-workers. This is a very friendly and safe environment for the children to learn and explore their surroudings and to discover who they are. I feel that the administration goes above and beyond to help the employees as well as the parents/families. We have beautiful, age appropriate playgrounds that the children really enjoy. I started working here part time in October of last year. I feel that I have learned a lot working here. I enjoy seeing all the little kids come in with smiles on their faces. They have always worked with me with my son and as a single parent that has been great. Friendly office staff and teachers. My son also really enjoys his class and the friends that he has made.

My kids attend children’s academy as did my brothers and sisters. When I drop my kids off I feelSo good knowing that there safe and I have nothing to worry about my oldest is 7 she’s been attending since she was 1 . I feel like the staff have became my family I’ve cried in there office when trying to break my child from biting I cried when leaving my girls for the first time with no judgment just hugs they have been there for my kids through it all lol. My girls were both potty trained by 20 months there potty training system is great . I could go on and on . If you are looking for a daycare who knows that it takes a village and that we are doing our best this is definitely the daycare for you !!

My son has been here for over a year and he loves it . He’s excited everyday to go and he adores the teachers/staff. Everyone is really nice and friendly always good vibes an awesome communication. He has also learned a lot and comes home with worksheets about everyday telling me something new he learned. Very clean and close to home which brings me a lot of comfort also.

I have been working here for two years, and I grew up going here when I was younger. Every teacher including myself that works here care for the children like they are our own! I love coming to work everyday and seeing the kids smiling faces. All of the daycare staff try really hard to make this daycare a fun, safe, learning environment. I love my job!

This is the place for you if; you want to walk in daily and hear some of the teachers yelling and screaming at the kids because the some teachers cant maintain control of the kids in the class. If you dont care if your kids go outside in the summer and get sunburnt multiple times because the teachers cannot follow common sense that bright sun and bare skin equals sunburns which can lead to skin cancer, even when the parent brings spray sun screen. Or if you dont mind walking through the classrooms and see fruit flies coming out of the sink drains. Or just the overall smell of the building. Ask them why there is a sheriff on duty there now after school lets out. I guaranty that it is because wonderful things have happened. Ooh... and the fact that it was stated that the school zone flashing lights dont come on early in the morning (when my daughter got on the bus) and I was told and another parent confirmed with the same story to the sheriff that it is left off because the solar panel only has so much of a charge. That light is for childrens safety folks. They should have it on or force someone to fix it.This place is not worth it folks (in my opinion) and we found another daycare in the area where the teachers are so kind and spend time with the kids playing games with them and where they keep control of the class without screaming constantly. Do your own research folks and I bet you will notice a lot of what I mentioned if you do a tour. I had to bring these up to them many of times until I realized there were other choices for daycare in the area.

If you prefer consistency in teachers this isnt the place. You never know who will be there day by day- turnover is horrible. Office staff has been the same for years though. Stephanie and Sherri are delightful. Now, the owner/director and family (behind daycare) Id be weary of. One staff member yanked my child by his arm causing him to cry and they tried to hide it from me. A teacher no longer there told me about it. No incident report. Same child came home with black eye no incident report no one knew what happened so theu say. Came home another time with a busted lip with teeth marks guess what. No one knew what happened again. Staff are asked to not cash paychecks because theres no $ to pay them...could go on and on

I have worked for Childrens Academy for almost 12 years. I absolutely LOVE this place. My children attend on a daily basis and enjoy it. I want to take a moment to reflect on some of these reviews. The one about us telling a child to walk home is outrageous. There was no school at all that day but daycare was open. I took time out of my work day to show another parent that none of the daycare staff or myself talked to the children who walked home. As a daycare we enforce that all parents walk their children to their classrooms for such reasons as this. I hope that anyone that knows me, knows that I would not do this. I would have followed protocol which would be to contact the parents and let them know that the child is not enrolled at the daycare and is in our office waiting to be picked up. As far as not cashing paychecks, that is simply not true. We have always paid our staff for the hours they work. I just wanted to clarify that we are only the daycare portion of our campus. Before Zenos Crumbly cussed me out in the parking lot for asking her if she needed assistance, I had never had contact with her. Children are our number 1 priority and we take great pride in their safety, their learning, and teaching them how to be independent, helpful, and smart members of our community.

I had to give a star to write the review. This daycare is absolutely HORRIBLE! Do not send your child here is you still want a job. My twins are two and if they cry and don’t want to go to timeout Stephanie calls and wants you to pick them up with the hour. Cleanliness is not all top priority. The teacher to child ratio is horrible as well. They have two teachers in a room with over 20 toddlers. In the morning the teachers are so lazy they just sit on the floor. If kids are fighting they don’t even get up to stop it. Staff is not trained to properly take care of toddlers. My friend son was in the infant room and she had the same complaints. The office manager Setphsnie allows her children to sit on the desk at the front reception area. Not professional at all.

Both my children attended this childcare at one point. I did like the daycare building and the playgrounds but I feel as more training of the teachers and experience is needed. Understanding children, families and communities is a must. Also daily curriculum and schedules is key to a successful classroom and noticed the teachers didn’t follow through with that everyday. More teacher and child engagement is needed.

I worked here for about 9 months. Worst job Ive had. Employees dont care about eachother and way too much drama between front desk staff and teachers. They are there to care for the kids not to bicker and argue and give attitude with each other. Kids dont Get treated right and they hire ANYONE that applies for the job which is ridiculous. Dont trust them with your kids. I did what I could while I was there and had great bonds with parents and kids. But thats not the same for other people that work there.

No stars at all wouldnt let me post without ratingWorst daycare my grandchildren have ever attended! My one year old grand daughter came home many times with a dirty diaper several times a week. Several times Stephanie and her staff were unaware of the whereabouts of my grandchildren only to find them walking through the grounds unattended. Another incident my 6 year old grandson was told to walk home by Stephanie. I was shocked to see him walk in the door in the middle of the day and we live a 1/2 mile from the daycare. I made several incident reports to them and Stephanie claims there is no record. If you value the safety of your children dont send them here.

So Im sitting there filling out paperwork and i hear the teacher scream at the top of her lungs yelling at the children. I asked the receptionist about it and she acted like that was normal and said that was the toddler room....I left the papers and we wont be back. Very glad I found out before I left my children in their care.

Its always something with the lady at the front desk in the morning and some of the staff! Horrible! Ill give this place no star if I could! Smh...

My children been going to this daycare since they were a year. The only daycare i trust
