Our daughter has been going to Goddard almost her whole life. She is about to turn five, but Goddard has been helping us care for her since she was a one year old. The teachers at the school are very professional and so friendly. My daughter just loves them all and talks about them a lot. That hasnt changed over the years as my daughter progressed from class to class. She has loved every teacher, and perhaps just as importantly, the teachers love the kids like their own.I frequently tell my wife we are blessed that we are able to afford to send our daughter to Goddard. Before selecting Goddard all those years ago, we evaluated many schools. We heard about Goddards positive reputation and when we had a tour of the local school, it was a done deal. It was just a great fit.Of course, as great as Goddard is, it is not perfect. About the only downsides I can think of are some schools we looked at provided diapers, wipes, and hot lunches as part of the tuition. Goddard does not do those things, but remains competitive on tuition. The only other thing I can think of is Goddard charges an annual enrollment fee for each child even if they have already been enrolled and attending for years. I am not sure why that is or if that is an industry standard practice, but I thought it would be fair to mention these things. If you are looking for a great child care facility providing top-quality education and child care, look no further than Goddard. Your child will love it!

Our daughter attended The Goddard School for 3 years. The staff were professional and friendly. They were responsive to any questions we had as parents. Our daughter was well ahead of her classmates when she transitioned to public school. We also took comfort in knowing The Goddard School goes above and beyond to ensure health and safety. All staff are trained in CPR, classrooms are designed with more fire protection than is required by code, they keep trained staff on hand to meet state requirement for prescribed emergency medicine administration needs and first aid. Overall, we felt very comfortable with all the teachers and staff. Our daughter looked forward to going every day. Which as we all know as parents is no easy task!

Our son has been attending here for almost 2 years and is doing great. According to the pediatrician he is well ahead of average in his vocabulary. There is a very diverse student population as well as teaching staff so hes getting a great exposure to a broad range of children and adults.Hes always willing to go into school in the morning and then will happily talk about his classmates and teachers in the evenings.

Goddard has met and exceeded all of our expectations. We are grateful to rely on them as part of our family. The emphasis on educational outcomes for our child is evident in his continued growth and development.

I have had several experiences there over the past year that have made me question whether or not my kids are safe and well cared for there. We have moved to a different daycare. My son went there for nearly five years, since he was 4 months old.

My kids have been at Goddard for about 5 months now, they absolutely love it! It has only taken this long to get them to leave without kicking and screaming. The staff is friendly. The teachers are helpful and always communicate with me about my children. Thankful my kids are here and the daily pictures and end of the day reports allows me to stay up to date with their daily activities.

This is THE BEST childcare youre going to find in Columbus. My childs teacher keeps him so engaged, and his ability to interact with other kids has been developed leaps and bounds. His learning has been nothing short of AMAZING, too. He is confident now, and Im so grateful for all that his teachers have done for his development. Miss Tina, Ann and Tiffany are amazing and will do everything they can for you and your family. From the time you walk in, youre going to realize youve come to the right place. The building is beautifully kept and extremely clean. I love the Goddard School of Reynoldsburg! Thank you for taking such great care of my child!

This is our third year at the Goddard School. We have been impressed with the collaboration between all levels of staff and ourselves. They have worked with us through so many stages of development. The staff here truly cares about each child as an individual an it is evident in their drive to see each grow and succeed. I recommend Goddard to any and all people that ask me about childcare in Columbus.

We love the Goddard School – Reynoldsburg! I have an infant and a toddler who are well taken care of and loved. We are on a meal plan provided by Sunny Street Cafe and its great not having to pack lunch. My toddler gets help using the potty and learns so much. My infant loves her teachers and had a heck of a time transitioning to being bottle fed, but with the help of the staff we were able to overcome it. I never feel worried about my children while they are at Goddard and would highly recommend to anyone.

My grandson attended The Goddard School at the daycare and then kindergarten. When he started public school, he was already ahead of the class. Great educational play and wonderful caring teachers and staff. Cant go wrong with sending your little ones here.

Who are you leaving your child with? This school obviously does not check into the backgrounds of the teachers they hire. I was about to enroll my son into this school, when a family friend informed me they pulled their daughter out after doing some simple background checks on her teachers. If a parent can find information about a teacher that makes them uncomfortable to leave their child with them, then what kind of “background check” does this school preform? You would think (or hope) that would be their first priority when asking parents to trust their employees with our children all day. Will be looking into a different school to enroll my son.

I was less than impressed. My son attended for almost 2 years and the pre-k class switched teachers so much that the kids didnt learn the any letters after G. I was private pay, and at $1000/month I was at least expecting my son to be very well prepared for kindergarten. When we pulled him out at 4yrs old he was NOT prepared, in the least bit, for kindergarten.

Goddard Reynoldsburg is a fantastic facility- always clean, great educational toys and books/play center available for all age groups, great structure. There is high turnover but Ive learned that is standard for most Columbus area daycare centers. My daughter has been there for 3 years and she loves it and has gotten a good educational foundation.

Oh boy. Where do I start? A simple DON’T SEND YOUR KIDS HERE would probably work just as well but I am assuming you are here because you’re weighing all options for your child’s care and need insight from another parent to help make a decision about your investment. The onsite owner is unethical. Teachers don’t communicate with you outside of sunshine and roses but they’ll share concerns with the owner (who knows if they’re true, there’s never any documentation). The owner then contacts you and ambushes you with information that is completely out of the blue and random. It was confusing and devastating and a complete waste of time transferring our children there.Instead of spending time spamming google reviews with information that was literally the complete opposite of what was experienced, they should spend more time hiring qualified people to impact the families that are still there. Priorities. Just a thought.

Our son has been at Goddard - Reynoldsburg since he was 3 months old and is now 2. Being a first time parent and having to leave your infant with people you don’t know is very scary. Throughout our time at Goddard we have had many great experiences. Yes, there have been some challenges with communication and gloves and bibs have gone missing a few times, but I know my child is well taken care of. He has a severe allergy that the school has been great with it. He loves to “read,” knows his ABCs and his numbers, and is constantly talking about his friends and teachers. He is excited when we drop him off and when we pick him up he is happily playing with friends. I have in no way been asked to give a biased opinion in this review, and from one parent to another I would encourage you to look at the school if you are in need of care for your child. My husband and I got a very strong gut feeling when we first visited and we continue to feel that way each day.

DO NOT send your children to this location! If i could give it 0 stars i would. This place is not invested in your childs success or development at all. They have no problem recruiting your family into their school with false or dishonest information about their program. They really need to remove the title early childhood development off their sign because they really struggle with any child that doesnt fit their mold within a week of being there. Dont worry, they dont tell you anything bad about your child until they tell you 13 days into your enrollment that theyre dis-enrolling them without any previous conversations or any documentation to say your childs behavior was of any concern at all. And the teachers who tell you your children have had great days every time you pick them up with no concerns but apparently complain to the onsite owner who tells the parent oh i thought they talked to you about it. This location is a disgrace to childcare or child development. Take a few extra minutes and find a better daycare that your children will be cared for by staff who have patience and desire to see your child grow.

If youre looking for a school that works with your children to develop skills and behaviour, this is NOT the school for you. This school wants to take your money and have you believe all is going well but refuses to communicate with parents/guardians until the very last minute where they then choose to kick out children for bad behaviour. There is no conversation prior, no one calls or contacts to express/address any issues prior to the dismissal. Incredibly unprofessional and it makes me question the care the children receive. As parents, when we send our children to daycare/preschool we expect them to be safe, respected, nurtured and well-cared for; a home away from home. To label a 2 year old difficult and refuse to create and communicate a plan with the parents is problematic. Avoid The Goddard School at all costs!!

I’ve trusted The Goddard School to nurture my children with the upmost care and I was handed otherwise. I am here to make parents aware of how poorly the infant classroom is operated on a day to day bases. Defenseless infants are treated neglectfully in the care of The Goddard staff. As a mother with a horrific experience, I would never recommend this particular location to anyone seeking care for small children. Lead and Assistant infant room teacher; Elizabeth and Chrissy are far from “by the book” caretakers.Tiffany, the director is either always absent, shocked or confused by any or all concerns on every occasion even if you trusted assistant director, Tina to rely concerns or incidents to her higher up. Parents, do not be misled by “5 star” reviews made several years ago.

In response to Jules and Brandon Dupuis, Im sorry to hear about your experience. Im a friend of a parent that goes to that location and they say some staff member are great and some are not. Some do a better job than others. They love miss Cynthia, miss Evalyn, miss Rachel, miss Barbara, miss Nicole, mr. Eugene and miss Jessica. Ive heard wonderful things about the Get Set class and Preschool class room. I wouldnt base your experience with one teacher and label the whole school as incompetent, but the Goddard School isnt designed to assist children with special needs. That can get very challenging when staff doesnt specialize in special education and wouldnt have the proper tools to teach a child that needs extra help or individual attention with a class size of 14-20 children

When we first started looking for a daycare, we visited 10 different daycares and The Goddard School at Reynoldsburg was the only one that felt like home. Our daughter started when she was 12 weeks old and has been at the school for over two years now! It amazes us how much she has learned and how every teacher and leader in the school goes above and beyond to meet the needs of each student and parent. I never imagined my 2 year old could count to 20 and know her letters. We have had nothing but wonderful experiences and would highly recommend The Goddard School in Reynoldsburg to anyone!
