I came to get my General B license Martin was very helpful and knowledgeable on the subject. He helped me understand what I was getting my self into and what fit my business better. I took a prep course for the ICC B1 exam in the late fall of 2019. I passed my ICC B1 residential buliding exam on my first try. Instructor was pretty good. Overall would definitely recommend.

I’m a little bit more than half way through the process of completing the course for the license. I’ve been fortunate to Have the opportunity to have Martin, the student administrator walk me through the process taking the time to explain things in a very professional manner. He takes the time to explain the steps and the time in which they need to be taken making it easy to work around my very busy schedule. Having Martin working with me has made the process easy and adds a positive outlook to the end result I’m looking for.

Today, I had the awesome experience of personally enjoying the company of Mr. Martin Diaz, Student Administrator, at the CSLS office in Concord. In the schedule appointment Mr. Diaz was very professional and knowledgeable with the application process. His clam demeanor and bi lingual communication skills stood out in a professional way. I really felt comfortable and trustworthy with Martin in the manner of which he exhibited confidence in delivering the points needed to be covered on my behalf. Awesome. He is a people person.Most importantly, He check and cross checked everything thoroughly to make sure all documents, classes, and requirements were in place. He was very clear as to the requirements I will need before taking the state test for a contractors license. No doubt about it, he answered all my unanswered questions.In closing, I wish more people in other areas of business could follow his example. Great school with open class time all day to study. Studied until I was testing at 99-100% in the classroom and the questions while rephrased are almost exactly the same.

Hello Im giving this school a very low grade because at first glance they will di anything to get you to sign on the dotted line; you have their full attention. Then you attend class for which I can not comment in any other course but the course I told -Mold remediation and Home inspector course due to Volcational rehab due to 4 ruptures in my back---3rd back break!!. First let me mention Im a 49 year old carpenter local 713- local 22- local 152 respectively for the past 18 years. Before that I was a machinists local 1384 before that i was workjng merchant seaman Dutch harbor Alaska for international maritime management inc.. well the class let me mention we would talk about the class. In a 8 hour class--saturday and Sunday for 3 weekends. 50% of the time we talked about everything but course study. Yes Ive learned more coming out then going in but the course is poorly managed. Better doing it online. Almost a waste of time sitting for 8 hours and we cover 25 to 45 % accual course study. Then on top of that at the end of the course I was to receive my certificate and I and one other guy didnt recieve like other class mates did. Ok I can live with that. After numerous calls to the office its been 3 weeks now and no certificate. Keep getting forwarded to other people to talk to are they are too busy to talk to me after getting paid. This is not exceptable for me. At the very least I expected the school to conduct themselves alot more professional as they seemed to be before unsigned up.before I got into carpentry i had to do 4 years of apprenticeship for which i did. Got my certificate with no problem from the state certified school of construction in Pleasanton ca and never in my years have I seen a school do a total 360 degree turn around with being professionally attentive to the students needs. My Goosh this is my profession now and its put on hold because people in the office dont think Im important enough to at least get me the certificate I earned. This school has gotten me very upset.

Material was 100% relevent to the test which was my major concern. I studied 2 weeks 6hrs a day and passed law and trade (b) easily. Not all test questions are on the test. 4-6 per each test were. I used the crash course and did 2 classes. I would give 5 * but they didnt give me an online login right away.
