I highly recommend the school. The teachers and staff are friendly, caring and genuine. The enthusiasm and competence of the teachers are also very impressive. I am happy that my son goes here.

This is my sons third year attending Concord Montessori School, and it has been a great experience for him and the entire family (the school has a wonderful community). Since day one, he has loved going to school at CMS, and we have enjoyed seeing him grow in multiple facets.

This school is amazing. Kids learn so much and I can’t believe how many wonderful things my son tell me what he has learned. Teachers are very professional and responsible. My kids love it. If I can say something to improve, maybe the playground can be bigger. But I am very happy that kids can get play outdoor every single day. Love the school and staffs there.

We have been working with CMS for 2 years and our child has really enjoyed the teachers and students here. The teachers have been very good about communicating with us when she has done well and when there have been issues. My daughter has learned a lot and made lots of friends. We would recommend this school to anyone in the area.

When I drop off my son at CMS, I drive away knowing that he will be nurtured, encouraged and loved for who he is. At CMS, my son engages in experiential learning in a beautifully crafted environment. This imaginative exploration leads to confidence, independence and a love of learning that will continue as he grows. We are so lucky to have Concord Montessori School- best choice we ever made for our kids.

I currently have one child in the pre-primary class and one in the primary class. They both LOVE Concord Montessori and ask to go on the weekends. My younger child had some separation anxiety and cried the first few weeks. His emphatic teachers and staff would always call me if his crying persisted but they were usually able to get him to relax and participate. Now he considers it his second home. Its a warm loving environment that fosters independence and a love for learning.Just after a month of school, my 4 year old is sounding out words and her writing has blossomed. The teachers are highly qualified and allow a childs interest to guide their learning. The classroom and materials are beautiful and artfully arranged. Id recommend Concord Montessori to anyone looking for a high quality pre-school/kindergarten.

This is my 8th year at Montessori and we could not be more pleased with the wonderful experience our 3 children have had under the care of Laurel and the entire staff of Concord Montessori.I truly believe most people don’t understand the immense benefits of the Montessori education. It is true that learning is child-led but the children are not left to themselves. They are carefully and lovingly guided to try and learn new things in a supportive environment. They are encouraged through everyday activities to be caring members of their school community and to take pride in and care of their school. Skills that are essential to their future years in school and the world. Montessori is a whole child education focusing on every assets of a child’s being from their academic skills to social and emotional development. The entire staff of this particular school is well trained and perhaps even over-qualified compared to the training of other preschool teachers. They have a deep understanding of child development and are in tune with where each individual child is in their specific development. I have heard many parents say “they just get my child.” Furthermore, they are able to taylor what the child is doing in the classroom to the child’s specific place in their individual development. At one point, my son was having an “explosion” in writing. He was so interested in writing so his teachers gave him many opportunities to work on those skills. He was never forced to abandon that desire because it wasn’t what the teachers had decided they were focusing on at that time.In addition to an amazing staff of teachers, Concord Montessori has also worked hard to hire both an art teacher and a music teacher who are true to the calm and peacefulness of a Montessori classroom. Miss Debbie from Drumlin Farm also comes once a week to talk about animals and the environment with the children. The children are also exposed to Chinese and Spanish. I am not aware of these added curriculum specials happening at any other area preschool.Concord Montessori also prides itself on the diversity of its staff and family community. There is much discussion of peace and acceptance. And the children learn about other cultures and family traditions. This is so important. Especially in today’s world. All in all, we have had an amazing experience at Concord Montessori and I could not be more pleased at how loved and cared for my children are and how prepared they have been to move onto the local elementary school and out into the world.

Our daughter is in her fourth academic year at Concord Montessori, and we could not be more delighted with the education and care she has received from CMS devoted and attentive teachers. CMS fully embraces Montessoris follow the child approach to early childhood development. They have encouraged our daughters natural curiosity and love of learning by letting her engage with the materials at her own pace, build up to more challenging work and encouraging persistence in a gentle and loving way when she gets frustrated. The school itself is beautiful, thoughtfully laid out and well-equipped. The library rivals that of our own local branch. Another huge bonus is the community of families. Weve made wonderful friendships with kids and their parents that I hope will continue long past kindergarten. Thank you CMS for being part of our village!

We have been sending our 4 children to Concord MontessorI for 10 years now! As an “attachment parenting” mom, I feel the School was our opportunity to homeschool away from home. Our older children moved on to a MontessorI elementary school and eventually to the pubic school, so we have had a lot of experience with different educators. The environment at Concord MontessorI is extremely nurturing and focuses on academics and the true joy of learning. It is truly different from any Montessori school we have ever seen. It is a magical place. My 4-year old had a difficult time transitioning from home to a school environment. Every day, her teacher would take her hand and lead her to the classroom. Then they would immediately call me and me let me know she was happily working and texted me a photo.I have watched teachers hold and snuggle children for their entire recess, wondering how their arms hold up.My four children have loved this school and long for days when they can re-visit their classroom with all of their beloved learning materials. I could see my children’s self esteem blossom with Laurel. Laurel has put such a joyful memory of learning that it has carried our children through some trying times in their new school. Our only problem is that our older children compare their present teachers to their past warm, supportive, creative, joyful and encouraging Montessori teachers....and those are very big shoes to fill.
