I love this school! My kids have been going for over a year now and I have NEVER had a bad or questionable experience here. I had tried other local daycares before the lighthouse and left those others with in the first week. The staff is friendly and caring. My 2 year old can sing her ABC’s, can count up to 20 and knows her colors. Not only is it a fun and loving environment but the curriculum works to. I can’t forget to give a shout out to Ms. Maria, who makes the best breakfast and lunches for the kids. My kids eat better at school than at home, and I’m a good cook, I promise!

Had no issues at my previous daycare. Unfortunately we had to relocate when we moved to the area. Constant issues, I tried to communicate with them as much as possible to resolve my sons disruptive behaviors. They had no advice or plans to help solve the problem. I had suggestions on what had previous worked at his previous day care since we only had one disruptive write up there. His previous daycare set up a meeting and put into place ways to resolve the behavior and was successful. None of my suggestions were put into place or attempted here at Lighthouse. My son has been to two different day cares prior to this. This is the only daycare I have had issues dealing with. They would send home complaints for things as simple as him picking at his shoes. Like I mentioned previously this is the only daycare I’ve had this many issues with. The teacher would say things like “bringing a stuffed animal is fine and encouraged to use as a bargaining tool for good behavior” then I would be told at the front that outside toys or stuffed animals are NOT allowed please do not bring them. One instance I arrive at the day care and saw his teacher leaving. I engaged in a conversation to ask how my child did that day. Her response was “ It was a bad day I’m exhausted I need to go home.”

Great teachers and great staff. Very caring and make the children feel loved. My son loves his teachers.

I cannot commend this daycare enough, everyone is warm and welcoming and they really do have our childrens best interests at heart!

It sounds like J Stanley needs to be a better parent, and stop placing blame and responsibility on other people for the terrible childs behavior. Discipline starts at home.
