Our experience at discover and share has been amazing!We started with this school almost 9 years ago when my older child enrolled and he stayed with your school until Kindergarten.When the little one was born in 2015, the first thought that crossed our mind as parents was Discover and Share when we discussed about daycare!This school is very convenient in terms of location and hours, and I knew exactly the care he would receive. The teachers are amazing. Ms. Maria, Ms. Rosa and Ms. Kim welcome him each morning with a great smile even at 6:30AM!! and Ms. Erica is an awesome teacher for the 2 year olds! She has taught my child a lot- most importantly organization skills. What I mostly like about this school is that its affordable. My child loves going to school every morning, loves his teachers and is always happy to be in school! He has a chance to explore many activities- and loves to show off his skills :) I have total peace of mind knowing he is in a safe environment. I am equally glad about the diversity in this school. My child gets to interact with kids from different cultures which is a great exposure even at this young age!!

This school is amazing!!! My family (3 kids) have been going to Discover and Share since 2004. As my older 2 have entered elementary, they were definitely prepared for kindergarten. The staff over the years have treated my children like one of their own. You can tell that they truly love them and what they do. I have always felt comfortable dropping them off in the morning knowing that they will be as well taken care of as they would be if I had them with me. I would, and have, recommend this school to everyone.

My sons first and only childcare experience left him traumatized at just a year old. I waited a year and a half to try again and found Discover & Share. I did my homework, met the teachers, toured the facility and decided we would try again here. Ms. Kim and Ms. Aurora have restored my faith in caregivers. The staff is tenured and they genuinely care about our kids. They have shown amazing patience both with my son and me during our adjustment period. My son comes home with new songs and all kinds of artwork and is so happy every day when I pick him up. My son has been attending this school for 5 months and has made lots of new friends too. I highly recommend this school and the teachers.

My daughter has been attending Discover and Share since she was 3 months old. Its a place I feel comfortable dropping her off at every morning knowing that she will be happy and in great hands! They are always great at contacting me with any concerns or questions. Everyday she they are teaching her new things. I love that! She even knows sign language! I have recommended this place to others and will continue to.

My 2.5 yr old has been going here for 2 weeks and she is already almost fully potty trained! Unlike the corporate daycares, Ive see on a daily basis projects, class itineraries, and genuine care for my little. Price is reasonable and tons of extra curricular activities too. Wish I hadnt waited so long to bring her here.

On a 5 point scale, I would give Discover and Share 4.7 points! I have 2 children that have been attending the school for over 4 years. Both started in the infant room and have progressed through the different classes. Our family has been so happy with the care, tenure and learning experience here. We tried a school that was closer to our home for about 6 months (out of convenience) and quickly learned why we are willing to drive an extra 10 minutes to go to Discovery & Share.Care: The director, Stephanie, who runs the front desk has been with the school for over 15 years. She is always available if I have a question about anything and makes us feel welcome every time we walk in the door. She stays in tune with everything that goes on at the school, addressing needs and always keeping us informed.Tenure: There are at least 3 teachers who have been with the school for more than 5 years each. This was quite comforting, especially when I was a new parent 4 years ago. There tends to be a lot of turnover in this kind of environment, so to have at least 4 staff members who have been at the same school for an extended period of time says a lot about how the school is run. I was very happy that both of my children were with the same teachers, I knew their routines and they understood my expectations. They’ve found a system that works.Learning Experience: It’s not all about the brand new floors or state of the art playground, it’s about the content, care and capabilities of the teachers and staff. At every stage throughout my children’s development they have been challenged yet supported in developing their social, academic and life skills.

3rd daycare we tried around here and this is w/o doubts the best, especially considering how much our child has learned and enjoys going there daily. Diverse environment. Decent count of children per teacher, but I havent observed any problem with that. And price wise hard to beat on top.

Excellent, excellent daycare - I cant praise them highly enough. The staff is super friendly and accommodating, and my 18-month-old foster child just loves it here.

My youngest one has been here since she was 6 months. Very accomodating staff and great teachers/caregivers. We are on our last summer as full time since the little is going kindergarten in the fall.

My daughter has been attending this daycare since November and it is the best. The staff is so welcoming. My daughter fit right in. I couldnt ask for a better daycare for my little girl. Ms. Belinda and Ms. Aurora are the best! They have exceeded my expectations. Their curriculum is awesome too. My daughter tells me something new that she has learned everyday, including spanish. My 3 year old is bilingual. Highly recommended.!

I must say that staff is great, but our son seems to always get sick at this school. We pulled him out for about 5 mos period, he was great and healthy again. we signed him up again, second day at school, he gets sick. runny nose, vomiting...miserable. we have to pay doc visit fees and medication in addition to tuition. not to mention the nerve racking of a sick kid at home experience.

As a first time parent there is always some angst in leaving your precious ones under the supervision of others..The staff at Discover & Share are excellent, caring, personable and willing to always goal the extra mile and exceed expectations.

Discover and Share has been such an important resource to our family over the last 7 years. Child 3 is currently attending and children 1 and 2 are graduates and return for the afterschool and summer programs. Over the course of 7 yrs, we have several wonderful memories and experiences that I could share. To keep it (somewhat) short and sweet, here are the main ones that keep us coming back... 1) Visibility of children and staff. Until you get to know the great staff, you can gain peace of mind through the webcams available, video monitoring at the front desk, and the transparent design of the classrooms and building. 2) Great staff and low turnover. Having worked in the childcare field for many years, I’ve always been impressed with the quality of teachers that Discover and Share attracts and their commitment to their job. My children may or may not prefer their teachers to mom and dad often : ) A testament to the leadership of the owner and director. 3) Curriculum and Programming. The curriculum mirrors that of CISD, which made for a seamless transition for my two older children into Kindergarten. I am fanatic about hands-on learning, which DS does so well…starting at an early age! 4) Diversity. The staff and the students @ DS represent many different cultures, setting the foundation for a worldly view and appreciation of variety in our children.I could go on and on, about the awesome playground, the flexible options to fit your work schedule, but I’ll stop here and recommend that you schedule a tour if you’re looking for care in this area!
