As a beginner I really loved how welcoming they were at this location. I am excited for every class and definitely highly recommend giving a class a try if you are at all interested in BJJ.

We have all 3 children at this location. The coaches are professional and patient. The location is kept clean and it’s easy to watch my children during their sessions. They have several coaches per class to reinforce that lessons are learned. The format is perfect, warm up, practical lesson, lecture, memorization followed up by a deep-dive sparring lesson. Overall, My husband and I are very impressed.

Went in there today just to get some info. Kendall was super chill, actually took time to explain to me in detail about how things worked. You could tell she loved what she does. Did not try to sell me on anything, felt more like she just wanted to make sure she gave me all the information I was looking for. Glad I walked in, I have not even had one session yet but already know I found my new spot for getting back into training. What was super cool to was everyone who was coming in at that time, parents and kids just seemed super happy to be there. I could tell right away that these people were passionate about what they do and were damn good at it. Thanks for being far above what I expected. Now this is exactly what I was looking for.

My daughter and son have been attending for almost a year now. Their confidence has grown exponentially & their skill sets in self defense have increased greatly. The instructors, espec. We are loving Gracie Barra Corona! The coaches are amazing with the kids and I have seen my sons confidence grow in just the short amount of time that weve been coming here. My two sons and I have been training here at Gracie Barra Corona since 2010, the culture here is warm and welcoming. Everyone here is like family, the coaches are positive role models for our youth and lead by example. The professors and coaches are the best we trained with, they compete in tournaments worldwide as well as all over the US, and bring that knowledge back to the dojo and pass it on to us and our youth. They have classes to accommodate everyones schedule. We highly recommend this place to everyone, hands down best place in the Inland Empire!!!!

I train mainly in Riverside but I love going to Corona on the weekends! Coach Saul and Coach Kendall are great instructors and they really pay attention to the details of the moves.

I went to a lot of jiu jitsu schools and Im glad I chose the Corona Gracie Barra school. Coaches Saul, Kendall, Jerry, Jay and Alvin are all great teachers that push the students to learn and succeed in Jiu Jitsu. In the year my daughter has attended Gracie Barra she went from being nervous to spar and compete to winning medals and learning to be a confident young women. The instructors are serious but keep it fun to hold the kids attention. And this school has a great group kids and parents that all help to foster a feeling of a big family environment. Sign your kids up you wont be disappointed.

We have been at this location since November of 2017. What made us decide to leave one Jiu-Jitsu gym and come to this Gracie Barra Corona is this. You always have 2+ coaches on the mats. As much as 5 at times. Wow never seen that at other gyms. Kids coaches has 3 brown belts and occasional purple, blue belts assisting. Kids kids class are big. That was another reason why I liked this gym for my son who is 8 yrs. old. By having alot of training partners you get to experience more than say training with the same 5-8 kids day in and day out. After practicing for awhile the kids start to have routines that works best for them. Everyone is a little bit different. My son started competing this year. I felt it was very important for my son to train with as many different kids as possible so he could get the best training. He loves to compete and win. He doesnt like losing so I want to give him the best coaching and training partners as possible. Whats also so great is there are basic classes, advanced, no Gi, and competition class. The competition class is an hour and a half long.what ever your childs level is it would best be for them to come and give this gym a try and see for yourself. Hope this review will help you.

We made the choice to switch our boys from Tae Kwon Do to BJJ to have the confidence that they’d be able to handle themselves if a difficult situation was to arise. We’re so glad we did! The coaches (Coach Kendall, Coach Saul as well as the rest) at Gracie Barra are patient, calm and teach the kids respect and discipline all the while encouraging a great learning environment. It’s even more cost effective than the Tae Kwon Do class they were in which is an added bonus!

This is my first martial arts training and I am very impressed in how welcoming every one is, from the newest student to the highest instructor. Professor Tom is very experienced, skilled and a great instructor. They are LE friendly for those serving.Gracie Barra has many dojos world wide and as a member you can attend any of them at no additional charge.They also offer additional classes to include Muay Thai which is taught by a great instructor.This is a great place for all to train including kids, adults, men or women

They are unorganized, when I signed up my kids the lady at the front desk ,didn’t know what she was doing, my kids were never introduced to the class; when they had tournaments we had to skip class and they made us go to a different location which was inconvenient for us; I texted the owner with my concerns and all she care about was taking my money away : make sure you read your contract before singing up.

I have been a member for years. Excellent experience. They teach you useful techniques for self defense via Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Muay Thai . The kids classes are great, my sons love going there...I would strongly recommend this school above others.

We have been attending Gracie Barra Corona for 4 years. My boys, husband, and I trained there (boys still do). The Jiu Jitsu and Muay Thai instructors are amazing. My kids adore the instructors. This place is more then a place to train it is a family.
