The staff is amazing! My daughter loves going and learning Karate. The Cardio Kickboxing will absolutely get you in shape fast! Highly recommend all around!

I love taking my nephew to class . It’s awesome to see him improve on skills . The Sensei’s are always willing to help . They make sure to learn the children’s names and make you feel welcome .

Amazing staff and great classes

Ive been taking the cardio kickboxing class in the mornings and I absolutely love it! Its the only class that I feel has truly made a difference in my overall physique. Great energy and everyone is so friendly. Awesome studio.

I love this dojo! When I first came here I was bullied scared and shy. I have learned confidence and I’m constantly being taught respect motivation and every day life values. This is my second home and I’m so glad my parents brought me here!

Amazing with kids. Our daughter was really shy and having trouble with confidence. Didn’t even want to try at sports. We thought to give VBMA a try. We instantly new we made the right choice. Sensei Shane was professional of course, but the way he interacts with kids is something to watch. By the end of her first private lesson he had her standing just a little taller. We spent 3 great years at VBMA. She didn’t always succeed in class, but they helped her realize that she could. This last year she played in 2 sports plus VBMA at the beginning. She also did very well in school, which the Sensei’s are constantly reminding the kids about. She now loves competition and looks forward to the next season. All this from a little girl who tripped on her belt the first day of class. Thank you Sensei’s.

Sensei Chico & Sensei Tammy run an amazing dojo that teaches discipline before defense. Teaching Bushido Karate to all ages (our son started at 4) and adult kickboxing, the costs are quite reasonable, with a flat monthly fee allowing unlimited sessions. The kids love all the senseis, some of whom grew up in the program. I cant recommend them enough!

Where to start! This dojo is our second home! We brought our girls here and absolutely love the atmosphere and the values they teach our girls each and every day! All of the Sensei’s are great! After a year I decided to try the kickboxing classes and then also the Krav classes! It’s one of the best things I could have done for myself and my health! The classes are high energy fun and a killer work out! I love the motivation given by everyone and the people you meet are great also! This is not just another dojo the people have become part of our family! I highly recommended you give it a try for yourself and your kids!

My son began martial arts when he was 5 but he wasnt enjoying the tradutional training structure of the studio we were at, so he quickly lost interest. About a year ago we walked into the Villatoro Bushido studio in downtown Covina just to check things out.. The senseis here are teaching a very progressive, active, and engaging class for all ages and my son loves going so much that he attends 3 to 4 classes a week... flash forward to nearly a year later and my son is not only excelling in his martial arts but he has taken some of the lessons he learned into his studies and home life.

Loved the kickboxing cardio class. Hoping to go back soon.
