Amazing instructors and students, the BEST karate dojo in NWI. Period.

Love Homann Karate! They do such a great job there with the younger kids! My son has learned so much and loves to go.

Just went to a Nerf War Party here for a birthday party. What a great place and what a great idea for the kids! The facility was clean and spacious and the kids had a really fun time. I will definitely recommend for birthday parties.

The worst karate place i went there for 4 years and was treated like trash the locker room was broken and everything over all was terrible.

I have been going to Homann Karate Dō for about 6 years now and its changed my life. I was about 6 years old when I started and I loved it! I new karate was my sport after the first year or two.Then I finally got involved in tournaments. That was the best decision I have ever made! I am a currently a 3x national champion Jr. Olympic champion and about to compete in the US open. I also think karate has helped me understand what I was meant to do and who I was meant to be. This is the best karate school ever and is totally worth your time!

My daughter began classes at Homann, and within just a few weeks to months, I have already been able to see a change in the respect she shows towards myself and others and how much more confident she has gotten. Sensei Brett and Sensi Kimmi are always so patient and able to direct you during class at any time to be sure you stay focused. They are also encouraging to me, assuring me that she is a natural and how she will fall into the routine as time goes.The sensei’s are so encouraging and are so well respected by the students. Brett and Kimmi (owners) make everyone feel like family. I am very happy with our choice of a Homann and I am grateful that we did a self-defense class through girl scouts, because that is where she fell in love with her new sport. The instructors are all black belts and extremely knowledgeable, answering any questions you may have about the sport and explaining the differences between each session. Hands down one of the best places to go to be treated like family. I cannot wait to see how my daughter progress through the years here. I highly recommend Homann Karate Do.

Great people, great place to learn karate and become the best you can be.

I have been at this school for over 5 years and have loved every second of it.This is the finest karate school in Indiana, if not the United States. The owners are some of the most kind and giving people I have ever met and some of the greatest teachers out there.Very fair rates for the quality of karate you will receive and some of the most kind people you will ever meet.This school has changed my life and built my confidence up to levels that I did not think were possible.

My two children go to this school ! We could not be happier! We love the cleanliness of the facility, the staff is wonderful and truly enjoy what they do! The Senseis are always professional and care for all the students white belts through black belts. Very organized classes ! Worth every penny! Looking forward to the years we will invest in quality teaching from Brett Homann and staff.

Best decision we ever made was sending our kids to this school. The owners Brett & Kim Homann are some of the finest people we have ever met. They care about all the kids that they instruct and treat them as if they are their own children. Best investment we have ever made. What is taught at this school will last with our sons for a lifetime.

My son has been going for a couple weeks now and absolutely loves it. As a parent I think I enjoy it just as much watching them. They are taught well and the students are very helpful with one another. The instructors and students are great. Very friendly atmosphere. Great self defense, discipline, and confidence boosting skills. The instructors and students are great. My 5yr old daughter Quinn has been going here for about a year. The change in her is awesome! She was utterly shy but Sensei Homan has worked with her and the difference in her confidence along with discipline (for a 5 year old ) is staggering. The Homans are genuinely good, decent, and hardworking people and if anyone tells you otherwise they dont know what they are talking about! See you guys in class!!!

This place is phenomenal me and my brothers were trained many years back and Im glad to be able to send my son to get the same quality training I drive my son there from Michigan City four days a week because I want him to become a champion !!!!! This place always has very experienced instructors available at all times. Such a great place !

My kids absolutely love this place and the instructors. They go 3 days a week. The classes help each child individually and as a group. The instructors are very focused on the kids and helping them to learn and control themselves. They even involve the parents in classes and practicing asst home. My kids look forward to each and every class. They have never had any issues with other students while in class. They are definitely becoming more driven, more focused, more patient, and more self disciplined already. I enjoy watching my kids in class. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to enroll their child in karate.

This is an excellent karate school. This school has elite instructors and competitors. They really step you up to make you the best.This school is huge! It offers lots of space for everyone. The instructors are really experienced. Speaking of that, the main instructor is an 8th degree black belt. They teach a wide variety of topics such as self defense and competitive fighting.They dont just focus on karate, but on its aspects in life. They have community building events monthly or quarterly.Out of topic here but they offer many other services too. They offer Birthday Party Packages such as Nerf Wars. I, myself, had a party here and it was great!Want to learn karate? This is the place for you.Want to exercise more often and get in shape? This is the place for you.Want to have great fun while boosting your confidence? This is the place for you.ConclusionThis place changed me. It made me more confident and disciplined. You might say do another sport, but karate here affects who you are. It really made me more persistent. Everyone is treated like family.

Our daughter and son are entering their 3rd year of membership. In those three years I as a parent am extremely impressed not only with the instruction but the values and character building that is instilled to each student. Every student no matter the age or skill level are all treated as they are the most important student there. From instruction to extra fun festivities the staff go above and beyond 100% and are true champions from start to finish. I honestly cant say enough good things about Homann Karate Do and their staff. DO NOT hesitate to join the family.

I first met Sensei Brett Homann a little over 6 years ago when my wife thought it would be a good idea to sign our 4 year old son up for the Little Ninjas class. Words cannot express the positive impact that Sensei Brett, Sensei Kimmie and their instructors have had on not only our son, but on our whole family. Our son has risen to great heights thanks to Homann Instructors. He has been ranked 3rd in the country or higher 3 out of the last 4 years in the AAU and he has been able to not only train with world champions(thanks to Sensei Brett and Sensei Kimmie) but he has built friendships with people all over the country. He has world champion athletes, people of the highest character, on his facebook. Hes a straight A student, was 5th grade class president and has more friends in school than I ever did. Sensei Brett stresses the importance of self-discipline and how it will make every aspect of a persons life better. He also stresses to his students how important it is to do well in school, respect others and yourself, and always be a leader. We put our daughter through a couple years of training with Sensei Brett and when she decided to also give gymnastics a try she was leaps and bounds ahead of the other 6 year olds. I was so impressed with Sensei Brett that I signed myself up for classes 4 years ago and can honestly say that I have never been this self-confident or in this good of shape. Ive built friendships with people that I probably never would have met and I have traveled to places that I never would have seen if it wasnt for Homann Karate. There is no other karate school for my family and I :)
