Great school. Attended 8th thru 12th.Been to 7 of the 9 planets with UV instruments. Everyday I am thankful they bring out your best. I may not have appreciated their attention to studies at the time but I do now.

We moved to Dallas and sent our daughter here for her freshman year. The unique charism of the lineage of Bishop Dunne comes through as a feeling of care from staff.I loved the attention given to our daughter, the counselor she worked with to developed successful habits and self-awareness and the high standard of academic expectation. We moved her out for two reasons:1. Girls Sports opportunity2. TuitionThe biggest factor had to do with girls tennis. Our daughter wanted to play more competitive tennis and Bishop Dunne has less resources going to girls sports programs. It didnt make sense of us to pay tuition and then pay an additional set of fees for tennis. That said, I left with a great deal of appreciation for Bishop Dunne. I would recommend this school if you want your student to be college ready.

Teachers are helpful, and most students are friendly. However, the reason why there isnt a fifth star, is because students like to talk about adult content often and they have a new vocabulary which includes adult content and insults. But luckily, there isnt many of the new vocabulary words. Students are also helpful, and most willing to participate with pride. Falcon Pride.

I never knew what to expect. I had thought oh boy, a Catholic high school. And it has middle school. This is gonna suck but I have never experienced a more accepting family that see to all band together, despite their differences. Now yes, there are those that feel it is necessary to hate people and constantly start fights but the fights Ive witnessed have been over grave matters and were broken up by the rest of the student body. There are cliques and its easy to feel lost but once the initial fright of being a newbie wears off, you really do seem to find where you fit. There are many people I consider family and many more that i have yet to meet and hope to do so soon. The teachers are really helpful and seem to get the message when something isnt right and do their best to help in any way possible. The dean, Walter Johnson, has always stuck out for the students. He is hard and rough whenhe needs to be but hes not the scary monster people had warned me of. This school wasnt my first, secind, or third choice, but as a part of the class of 2018, I cannot express the emotions I feel towards this school. I am glad I made the choice.

The faculty is young, enthusiastic and educated with 14 Notre Dame graduates and three Teachers of the Year (Brad Baker, Jim Martin and Stephen Guerrero) in the last four years on staff - amazing! And the coaches all played their sports in college. The school is clean, bright and fun to be in - and has three courtyards where classes can be held outside. The students are friendly, the staff efficient and happy to help. The Science department is cutting edge (does your school have a seismograph on campus?) Best school in DFW!
