Read reviews & Finally can confirm after our children attending several years all positive things are true. I do see a major difference in our kids respect & manners compared to local public school children same age. School has a lot to offer & our kids are very happy attending.

We have been fortunate to find this gem of a school and make lifelong friends that feel like family. We love the small school atmosphere and the dedication of all of the teachers to make the best out of COVID for both the virtual and in-person students!

St. Pius is a unique environment with a strong, loving community. The school truly lives its motto of “Love One Another” in thought, word and deed. We have had experiences with other schools and I have been impressed year after year with the level of care and concern for each individual at this school by the teachers and administration. Our child mainstreamed from a LD school into St. Pius at a young age and has been exceptionally supported throughout her tenure at SPX. SPX is not learning different focused, but is certainly LD supportive and willing to find unique ways to accommodate for kids that need some extra support, but without sacrificing the rigor and challenge one expects to receive from a Catholic education. I applaud Mrs. Scott and Mrs. Garza for their continued investment in each child in this school. It’s evident that each of them cares deeply for each child and both are led by Spirit to invest the time and resources needed to consider the whole child, both academically and spiritually.

The teachers and principal definitely have it together here. The school is based on learning and keeping a high standard of care for the children who attend. In any interaction I have had with anyone on the staff- they have all been friendly, positive, knowledgeable and seem well supported by Ms. Scott and Mrs. Wahlstrom and the team. I have been very impressed by the curriculum and have been very pleased with the way that the school is run and overseen on a daily basis. My son has definitely grown at this school and is excited to be there. He stated he feels like he belongs there and that is because of the learning environment this team creates.

St. Pius X is truly a hidden treasure! We are very pleased with the school and the faculty. Blessed to have stumbled upon the school by mistake. This is our sons second year. Ms. Scott, Mrs. Salazar, and now Mrs. Simms, and the rest of the great St. Pius family are paving the way for our son. #begolden

If I could give this school zero stars I would. Everything about this school is subpar. It is not worth the investment. Better schools exist and it is not this one!

I went to SPX as a child in the 80s and it really prepared me well with challenging academics. I decided to send my kids in hopes that they too can get both a good academic and Christian education/training. With a change in administration and no more nuns teaching at the school, I didnt know what to expect. So far, Ive been pleased. My kids came from a school district that is rated very well and so far, they havent missed out on anything thats offered at the public school. My kids, especially the one in the higher grades, are definitely being challenged academically with their assignments.Parent involvement is very important at this school, so it seems to be a family commitment. It seems all the children who attend the school come from good families whose parents are willing to make a sacrifice for the benefit of their children and families. That really adds to the learning environment.

This community has a church and an elementary school serving up to 8th grade. The church itself is beautiful. Some Sunday Masses are extremely full so arrive early for parking.

I went to school there and I noticed that the reviews on here arent recent, so I think it was an ok school and that it did prepare me for some of highschool, but it also gave me useless information about highschool expectations. I think I have more freedom now than I have before, but I still know when I need to hunker down and do work. During my 8th grade year they made horrible changes to the school. We WERENT ALLOWED BACKPACKS IN OUR CLASSROOMS AND THERE IS NO LOCKERS OUT IN THE HALL, so we had to carry everything. Another dumb rule was about going to bathrooms only one gender at a time and only 3 people at a time, but we werent allowed to go except in between classes, so never did we all get to go.

If it wasnt for my husband I would not have my child here I dont really like school more because of how teachers react especially if you are hispanic, like for example last year during school release I picked up my son walking and a kindergarten teacher Mrs. Pham pushed me so hard that I almost fell off and after that her and her collegues started laughing which I just turned around and looked at them mad I really did hold my anger because pre k and kinder plus first grade where there but I honestly dont really volunteer at the school for that same reason I mean you can literly feel the vibe with most teachers at this school, but thumbs up to one of the greatest principals Mrs. Wahlstrom shes a lovely and sweet person she welcomes you and makes you feel like home. Not sure if I will bring my son back to this particular school. Hes just getting too attach to his friends and thats whats really holding me. School does offer lots of events for your kids like carnivals, peprallys, and field trips. I just hope staff changes because you can feel right away that most staff at the school can be rude.
