My child has been attending STA for 6 years and we have had the most amazing experience. The administration is dedicated to the success and happiness of their students, and the community of parents is like nothing I could have imagined. My family and I have made life long friends from members of the administration and the parent community and we know that our child is receiving a excellent education.

I am a contractor working for this school for many years. From my experience they are absolutely committed to excellence for their students. Jordan in particular is meticulous and makes sure that we deliver the highest quality cleaning possible. I can tell everyone with all certainty that this school is going above and beyond and has spared no expense to keep their building clean and disinfected. They clearly care about the safety of their students. I would send my own children to this school if we didn’t live 30 miles away.

St. Thomas is a wonderful school and an amazing community. The teachers and administrators work tirelessly to provide an excellent education infused with great heart. Their logistical and emotional support for the kids and parents during the pandemic has also been superb. It has been a great place for our family.

We have been parishioners of St Thomas Aquinas for over 17 years. Four of our five children are currently attending the school. They have gone above and beyond during the pandemic to make sure every families needs are being met and each person is comfortable and safe during this unprecedented time. We have several options for schools in our area and are thrilled to have found our church and school family at STA. Highly recommend!!!

My children have been at St. Thomas for the past 6 years. The administration and teachers work closely with the parents to provide a well-rounded education and religious learning environment. The last 8 months have been a testament to the lengths that collective community will go to ensure the safety and growth of our children.

St. Thomas is such an amazing school and community. My daughter started in first grade, and from the beginning of enrollment our family has felt so welcomed and comfortable. The school and staff do such a good job of communicating with parents. The administration, reading specialists and counselors, and teachers are encouraging and patient. I love the time given to the arts courses and learning Spanish, even in elementary. We have loved playing DPL sports and participating in PSIA and choir. This school offers so many opportunities for children to learn and grow in all kinds of ways.

Use to be a really good, diverse school; however, it has become overrun with want-to-be snots. Very unfortunate, but this is an honest review from an insider there for the last 12 years and a former school advisory council member. If you like an exclusionary place like a sorority not based on merits, this is now the place for you. Otherwise, expect bullying to be completely ignored by the staff because several of them are the ring leaders. To the credit, almost all of the teachers there are very good and the classroom education is exceptional. To us, its a shame to have walked away because of the atmoshphere created by parents. I am sure there will be backlash and rebuttal to this post and everyone is entitled to their opinion, but I feel everyone deserves to be presented with what I consider to be the facts. Buyer be ware. This may be exactly what you want and that is completely youre right; for the rest, dont expect a warm welcome. Posted sadly.

This is my home parish, although I live 30 minutes away because of the reverent masses, good music, traditional architecture (including a communion rail), and a lot of young people and young families. Also convenient mass times.

This principal is the devil herself! She encourages bullying and supports the behavior. Their is nothing Catholic about this school! Stay far far away!

Attending mass usually at 1245pm at times as lector or em, which I enjoy. Yet I have observed those attending mass do not know the requirements for the celebrant as directed by the rubrics in the sacramentary. Those positions are a clerical position and only for the priest or bishop. The raised arms of the celebrant of prayer at the canon, the Our Father and the doxology are only for the celebrant. I have noticed those attending mass will bring forward the hand at the response and with your spirit. And at the Our Father some hold hands and some raise their arms like the celebrant . This is not required by those attending mass. Receiving Jesus in the hand or on the tongue is required. Someone gave to certain persons who do these actions an incorrect manner of attending mass.. It is not done in Rome or Paris. The Central act of the mass is the changing of the bread and wine into the body and blood of Jesus, not the kiss of peace.. As an SK in the Knights of Columbus at STA I gave a lecture on that. Martin Drew

Weve been parishioners at STA for over 10 years now, and our children have been students at this Blue Ribbon school since PreK. A fantastic curriculum, caring staff, welcoming community. Feeling blessed to be part of the STA family.

This is how a Catholic church is suppose to look. Also, love the altar rails and the subsequent kneeling for communion.
